Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Dianna Agron was the guest of Carolina Herrera for Monday night’s 2012 Met Gala in New York City.

She looked gorgeous in green, wearing a jade-green silk organza draped peplum gown with a matching snakeskin wrap belt.

Fred Leighton jewels, Sergio Rossi heels and a Judith Leiber clutch accessorize the look.

The ‘Glee’ actress rocked the evening’s popular retro-wave look, but opted for a lighter lip colour.

I would rank Dianna quite highly as one of the best of the night.

There was plenty more eye candy to be had at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival Vanity Fair Party in New York City, which was held at the State Supreme Courthouse on Tuesday night.

Helena Christensen: The supermodel wore a charming Marc by Marc Jacobs ‘Palmetto’ eyelet dress which was a fun, flirty and unexpected look for this occasion. White peep-toes with a pink base, a gold clutch and chic updo completed the look.

Jessica White: The model wore a stunning Abed Mahfouz sleeveless gown with a thigh-high split, lace bodice and draped skirt. With her hair tied back into a neat ponytail she completed the look with red embellished sandals and Jeffrey Rackover jewelry.

Ivanka Trump: The New Yorker, who does chic like no other, wore a Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 dress. The stripe print silk chiffon dress with geometric lace inserts and a red patent leather hinge belt was styled with a grey ostrich clutch, black pumps with a mesh panel, onyx drop earrings and deep red lip colour.

Wendi Murdoch: The businesswoman wore an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012 part knit, part crochet colourful dress. She didn’t rely on her amazing dress to do all the work, as she added a red clutch and the same Giuseppe Zanotti sandals Scarlett Johansson wore to ‘The Avenger’ LA premiere, but in baby blue.

Tory Burch: The designer wore a Christian Dior Resort 2012 tri-colour dress with black pumps. You may recall that Emma Stone wore the same dress to the 2011 Teen Choice Awards.

Lily Cole: With so many beautiful women wearing amazing looks on this red carpet Lily very much let the side down. I’m not so much disappointed by her beige and blue sack-of-a-dress, but more her battered ballet flats.

Many more supermodels joined Coco Rocha and Crystal Renn on the red carpet for the 9th Annual Spring Dinner Dance New Year’s In April: A Fool’s Fete, hosted by New Yorkers for Children, which raised over $580,000 last night.

Doutzen Kroes: The model was surprisingly one of the few who opted out of wearing a gown to don a Rachel Roy ensemble. A purple keyhole top with an open back and a black leather cummerbund was teamed with super long flared pants. An Alaia perforated leather clutch completed her look.

Jessica White: The Maybelline model did an ‘Angelina’ by making sure we all got a look at her leg via the split in her Diane von Furstenberg sequin wrap gown. She teamed her raspberry gown with a Diane von Furstenberg ‘Tonda’ crystal clutch and cream peep-toes.

Selita Ebanks: I’m really not feeling Selita in this silver embellished gown. It looks like something Mariah Carey would wear. Basically it feels dated. The red clutch does nothing to improve this look.

Erin Heatherton: The model is the third person to wear a Carolina Herrera dress in the last 24 hours following Emily Blunt and Ashley Judd. Her Spring 2012 canary yellow, greige and taupe dot print silk chiffon gown with silver and black beaded embroidery was simply styled with black strappy sandals. It’s so good to see a Victoria’s Secret model wearing something other than a bandage dress.

Ashley Judd did a good job of brightening up the red carpet at The Paley Center in Beverly Hills, California last night, for ABC’s ‘Missing’ screening.

Spring has finally sprung on the red carpet if this Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 dress is anything to go by.

The actress was very much in tune with the season wearing this sweet, abstract sparrow print dress with double layered skirt.

Her gold clutch and strappy sandals perfectly accessorized the look.

A rosy glow and a pink lip colour provided the finishing touches.

Emily Blunt and I share a love for sequins and Lebanese designers, so the chance of me loving what she wears is usually high.

Unfortunately that wasn’t the case on the red carpet tonight for the London premiere of her new movie, ‘Salmon Fishing in the Yemen’.

She wore a nice enough Carolina Herrera Fall 2012 dress, but the overall look feels too mature for the 29-year-old British actress.

Her navy, black and indigo embroidered grosgrain dress was teamed with Tiffany & Co silver jewels and black satin Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

Naturally straight tresses, Kohl-rimmed eyes and a nude pink lip colour completed her look.

Manuela Velasco stunned on the red carpet at the 2012 Goya Awards, held in Madrid earlier this year, wearing a Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 gown.

The TV presenter teamed her off-white, taupe and sepia dot-print silk-chiffon pleated gown with antique silver crystal embroidery with an unexpected blue clutch.

On Olivia Wilde the gown looks totally different. Matronly is how many of you described her look.

The actress wore her dress to the 2012 Jameson Empire Awards in London this weekend.

With her red carpet mojo still M.I.A. and for pairing this gown with clunky black pumps, this was an easy win for Manuela.
