Julia Louis Dreyfus In Carolina Herrera – 2017 Emmy Awards

Julia-Louis Dreyfus hit the red carpet of the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The ‘Veep’ actress and nominee wore a custom Carolina Herrera Resort 2018 gown and striking emerald jewels.

Julia is just such a class act. I always love how she carries herself on the carpet and how much fun she has with the classic looks she chooses. That said, this gown is simply perfect for her. Classic red carpet lines but with the added fun of the yellow floral.

Her styling is also completely on point: Her voluminous curls, healthy tan, the glossy nude lip: Talk about a #ladyboss!

Sarah Paulson In Carolina Herrera – 2017 Emmy Awards

Sarah Paulson attended the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday night (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The prolific television actress wore a shimmering Carolina Herrera Spring 2018 gown with a Lee Savage clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Of course, Sarah is always one to watch on the red carpet because of the risks she’s willing to take. And while this look isn’t a risk, it is a super cool editorial statement. The complete monochrome offers a really dramatic effect, and now I must talk once again about fit: If this dress had been altered to fit Sarah as it was the runway model, it would be much more expected, but by keeping the gown a bit looser, it is much more interesting, and well, Sarah!

Mandy Moore In Carolina Herrera – 2017 Emmy Awards

Mandy Moore made a dramatic entrance on the red carpet of the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The ‘This Is Us’ star wore a stunning black and white Carolina Herrera Resort 2018 gown and Jennifer Myer jewels.

I’m head-over-heels for this gown. The black and white together is such a classic color pairing, but the tiers of tulle are modern and cheeky and so much fun. The fit is almost superb, which as we all know, is an oh-so-important detail that is often overlooked!

I am also crazy for Mandy’s beauty choices: The loose chignon and that bright pink lip are total perfection.

Are you swooning as hard as I am for this head-to-toe look?

Kerry Washington In Carolina Herrera – Women Making History Awards

Kerry Washington made a bold splash at the Women Making History Awards on Saturday (September 16) in Beverly Hills, California.

With a look fresh off the Spring 2018 runways, the ‘Scandal’ actress donned a Carolina Herrera dress that was on the Red Carpet Wish List for Nicole Kidman.

But, there’s no doubt Kerry was drawn to it for the designer’s punchy twist on timeless, feminine classics.

The artsy flair was felt throughout the sassy, sophisticated frock—from the graphic dotted motif to the new embellished variation on the pouf shoulder. And, I couldn’t have been happier to see Kerry wear this so well.

Whoever said black and white is boring would need to retract that immediately.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum In Carolina Herrera – 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

Jenna Dewan-Tatum was also in attendance at the 2017 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday (September 9).

Opting for an inky monochromatic look, the actress wore a navy Carolina Herrera Fall 2017 gown with a sheer skirt and a layered bodice of tulle and shimmering navy fabric.

The blue smokey eye served as a way to tie the look together. However, coupled with the gown’s high neckline, it proved a tad too much.

I would have preferred to see one fabric in the bodice, so there would not be as many competing elements.

Mandy Moore In Carolina Herrera – Disney’s D23 EXPO 2017

Mandy Moore joined Kristen Bell at the Ultimate Disney Fan Event during Disney’s D23 EXPO 2017 in Anaheim, California on Friday (July 14).

Perhaps going for the girly sweetness of a Disney princess dress, she wore a pastel-pink Carolina Herrera floral lace-embossed, peplum frock styled with Stella Luna sandals.

But the look proved confusing to me, as it simultaneously was overly precious while also serving up a rather dowdy, aging effect—to which her updo didn’t help matters.

I did like her Irene Neuwirth Jewels and bright fuchsia lip for a modern twist.

What do you make of her mixed-message look?
