Lucy Liu In Carolina Herrera – 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Bringing a sense of spring to the red carpet, Lucy Liu combatted Los Angeles’ unusually chilly temperatures at the 2013 Golden Globes Awards on Sunday.

The beautiful actress floated down the carpet in a floral print Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2013 ball gown.

Lucy’s gown not only infuses a sense of natural elegance into the often quite formal carpet at the Globes, but also serves to highlight the petite actress’ tiny waist.

To accent her sweet frock, Lucy donned subtle earrings, and a single stunning green cocktail ring.

I love that Lucy opted for a more relaxed hairstyle, sporting a feminine fishtail braid over one shoulder rather than a fussy updo.

Lucy’s locks are perfectly suited for a trendy side braid, so the overall effect when paired with her princess-worthy gown is simply breathtaking.

Camilla Belle In Carolina Herrera – 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala

Camilla Belle looked breath-taking when she took to the red carpet at the 2nd Street Tunnel in California last night for the 2013 Art of Elysium ‘Heaven’ Gala.

Dressed in a dot print organza gown from Carolina Herrera’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection, the actress was most definitely the belle of the ball.

Her off-the-shoulder bustier-style gown with an asymmetrical tiered skirt was styled with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels and a navy Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.

A simple updo and flawless makeup completed this stunning look.

You may remember that she also wowed at this event last year wearing the same designer. The Bella/Herrera combination is proving to be more fruitful than Munn/Herrera.

Emmy Rossum In Carolina Herrera – 2013 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Emmy Rossum kick started proceedings at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California this evening.

The ‘Shameless’ star wore an exquisite Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2013 gown.

Her sleeveless jacquard gown with a constellation-printed organza overlay throughout was accented with ornate beaded and crystal-embellished appliqué detail on the shoulders and grosgrain waistband which dazzled on the red carpet as brightly as her stunning earrings and gorgeous smile.

Wavy locks and flawless makeup completed her old Hollywood look.

Olivia Munn In Carolina Herrera – 2013 People’s Choice Awards

Olivia Munn made a sophisticated entrance for the 2013 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California, where she presented the ‘Favourite Country Artist’ prize.

Her black-and-white Carolina Herrera Resort 2013 ensemble, featuring a tiered skirt with lace overlay was slightly underwhelming, though. It didn’t feel right for the occasion, and it aged the young actress.

Instead of choosing a sandal, as shown on the model, Olivia wore the ubiquitous Christian Louboutin ‘Bianca’ platform pumps that have been glimpsed on nearly every starlet.

Maybe if her hair, which was a bit too under-styled and fell limp, was swept into a sleek updo, the look would have been transported to a more elevated, exciting place.

Kelly Ripa In Carolina Herrera – UNICEF Snowflake Ball

Kelly Ripa joined a host of stars including Katy Perry, Selena Gomez and Uma Thurman who took to the red carpet at Cipriani 42nd Street for the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York City on Tuesday evening.

The TV presenter wore a Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 strapless gown.

Her Atlantic-blue silk devore gown was styled with a dainty matching bow-belt and a complementary silver metallic Judith Leiber clutch.

A wavy centre-parted hairstyle, neutral makeup and a pretty smile completed her look.

Kelly always like to play dress-up on the red carpet. Some of you have commented that she tends to overdo it on occasion, but this look is pretty much near perfect for me.
