Who Wore Carolina Herrera Better…Sarah Paulson or Fan Bingbing?

Who Wore Carolina Herrera Better Sarah Paulson or Fan Bingbing

Sarah Paulson looked divine while gliding down the red carpet for the 2013 Emmy Awards dressed in a vibrant raspberry Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 plunging gown accented with a sweet bow detail.

Fan Bingbing wore the same gown earlier this week, opting for a more modest plunge while promoting Konka’s new LED Smart TV.

While I wish Sarah had worn her hair up, I do prefer her unmodified version of the gown so she wins for me.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Carolina Herrera – 2014 Emmy Awards

Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Carolina Herrera – 2014 Emmy Awards

Julie Louis-Dreyfus proved why she frequently tops the Red Carpet best-dressed list when she stepped out in custom Carolina Herrera at the 2014 Emmy Awards on Monday (August 25) at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The classically elegant red column dress featured asymmetrical pleats at the waist and neckline. The thin red patent belt was echoed by buckled patent straps that crossed Julia’s bare back. The fit of the dress was pure couture.

Accessories included the Lee Save ‘Infinite Space’ clutch and a diamond cuff by Lorraine Schwartz.

Fan Bingbing In Carolina Herrera – Konka Commerical Event

Fan Bingbing In Carolina Herrera - Konka Commerical Event

Fan Bingbing attended a commercial event to celebrate Konka’s new LED Smart TV on Monday (August 18) in Chengdu, Sichuan province of China.

If you feel like you have been starved of glamour this summer, Bingbing’s return to the red carpet should keep you going until the Emmys on Monday.

The Asian beauty wore a Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 gown which balances daring and demure with a plunging (modified) neckline, potent ruby hue, bow tied at the waist and elbow-length sleeves.

Styled with Chopard jewels, Bingbing opted to sweep her long raven tresses up into a strict high bun with a central parting.

Speaking of the Emmys, you may remember that Sarah Paulson wore this same dress to the 2013 Emmys, opting to keep the plunge as deep as it appeared on the runway.

Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet Red Carpet Roundup

Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of some of the other looks on the red carpet at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (August 14) in Beverly Hills, California.

Abigail Spencer: The actress opted for a Dolce & Gabbana monochrome look, donning a white chiffon blouse with a playful black bow, styled with streamlined black trousers. Her black Jimmy Choo ‘Void’ lace ankle-strap pumps add a feminine flourish to this mannish offering.

Jessica Parker Kennedy: The actress wore a ladylike Carolina Herrera silver and black metallic-print strapless dress featuring a folded neckline. While I’m not that excited about the styling, it works perfectly for the look.

Gina Rodriguez: While this navy Laquan Smith Fall 2014 dress comes across as heavy, especially for a summer’s evening, I am in lust with this look from head to toe – especially the toes, which were dressed in a pair of tri-colour Jimmy Choo ‘Typhoon’ pumps, with a Kotur cream clutch rounding out this superb red carpet look.

Dianna Agron In Carolina Herrera & Cushnie Et Ochs – On The Set Of ‘Headlock’

Dianna Argon In Carolina Herrera & Cushnie Et Ochs - On The Set Of 'Headlock'

Dianna Agron was spotted taking a break between scenes while filming her next project ‘Headlock’, an independent spy-fi movie written and directed by Mark Polish that will follow a man’s travels and will take him through life, both emotionally and geographically.

The actress interestingly wore the same shade of grey from head to toe, donning a Carolina Herrera high-neck fitted dress with a fold detail on the bodice oozing a chic ladies-who-lunch vibe.

However, the look was given an ultra-modern touch via her Cushnie Et Ochs Spring 2014 python-stamped leather cape and cut-out booties.

Some say her individual style is often aging, so what do you think about this look?
