Belen Rueda was also at the ‘Goya Awards’ held in Madrid last night.

The Spanish actress often wears Carolina Herrera. You my remember last year she wore a white Carolina Herrera gown which I fell in love.

Unfortunately I didn’t love this bronze Spring 2010 gown on her.

The problem is I would prefer this dress on a brunette as her blonde hair doesn’t complement the rich bronze tone of the gown.

Her body does look amazing though.

Actress and singer Emmy Rossum first wore this Carolina Herrera grey fishtail gown to the “Costume Institute Gala” in New York during May of last year.

I really want to like this dress but I just find it a bit bland and I can’t really put my finger on it. Maybe I would just expect something a bit more at this event.

I love the earrings though and am glad she left it at this in terms of accessories.

Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova then wore this dress to the “Telva Magazine Fashion Awards” in Madrid back in October.

I’m stilled not wowed by it but I do like the way that Genoveva’s hair falls over one shoulder.

I wish she’d worn a brighter clutch to give the look a pop of colour.

For me, Genoveva Casanova wins this because I think the gown is more event appropriate.

What do you think?

Ravishing In Red Award
Christina Hendricks does it again.

By ‘it’ I mean look outstanding on the red carpet.

The “Mad Men” actress glowed wearing a red Carolina Herrera Resort 2009 asymmetrical gown with a bow detail on the shoulder, which she paired with matching red Christian Louboutin heels.

Her flame red hair was styled into an updo for this occasion, as she completed her look with a Rene Caovilla clutch.

‘Award Season’ Brand Ambassador Award
In the absence of Carolina Herrera’s favourite client Renee Zellweger, it looks like Ms. Herrera has taken not only Amy Adams, but Sofia Vergara under her wing.

The sexy actress who purrs “Herrrrerrrra” like no other looked smokin’ hot on the red carpet tonight.

A part of me is wishing that the gown was a solid colour, but then maybe it wouldn’t have been so interesting.

I love those embellished details in the sexy off-the-shoulder gown.

Prior to wowing us all in Dolce & Gabbana and making our best dressed list with her beau John Krasinski at the Golden Globes, Emily Blunt walked the red carpet at the BAFTA/LA’s 16th Annual Awards Season Tea Party in LA.

The British actress stood out from the crowd in this royal blue Carolina Herrera Pre Fall 2010 dress.

This shade of blue looks so elegant against her brunette hair and the detailed neckline adds an interesting touch to this look.

She teamed the dress with nude Jimmy Choo ‘Private’ sandals and a matching clutch.

Emily is becoming a firm favourite of mine and her last few appearances on the red carpet have really impressed me.

Penelope Cruz wore a Armani Privé Spring 2005 black gown with a mermaid tail.

I like the lace the detail around the bust a shoulder line but I’m a little bored by Penelope in black again.

I feel that she’s trying to channel her Spanish roots here but it somehow looks a little messy.

Glenn Close sparkled in this black Oscar de la Renta floor length Fall 2009 dress.

I just feel it isn’t special enough for the Globes.

The bust line of the dress and the bare shoulders make her arms look too muscular.

Rose Byrne wore a Lanvin Pre-Fall 2010 dress in a deep purple with a bow detail at the waist.

I’m glad Rose decided to wear the dress in this colour but I apart from that I’m left feeling a little bored.

Kate Hudson walked the red carpet in a Marchesa Bridal Spring 2010 gown with sculptured band bodice and bottom flared skirt.

I just can’t make you my mind about this. Part of me is thinking “what the hell?” and the other part doesn’t mind it so much.

I’ve never really got why stars wear bridal looks on the red carpet but I’m actually quite drawn to the sculpting on the dress.

The shoes are way too heavy though.

Jaime Pressly is shimmering in this Kevan Hall Spring 2010 dress with a split up one side.

I prefer this dress on the model as I feel that it has more of an impact against brunette hair.

I don’t think the champagne coloured clutch compliments this dress at all.

Jenna Fischer wore a dress from Halston’s Spring 2010 collection.

I like it but I don’t love it. I just can’t see how this dress is event appropriate. This is a star’s chance to shine and this dress is never going to deliver that moment.

As hard as I tried, I just couldn’t love Kristen Stewart in this stunning Oscar de la Renta Resort 2010 tulle gown.

If she wanted to be the Bella of this ball she shouldn’t scowled her way down the red carpet, and she should’ve done more with her hair.

For me this is a waste of a stunning gown.

As much as it was Kristen’s night, Dakota Fanning stole her red carpet thunder.

The teen actress wore a cute Valentino Spring 2010 lace dress paired with a maroon satin pair of platform heels.

I would’ve loved it if she had kept the cute bow, but I guess she was going for a more grown up look.

Definitely a BDOTW contender…

…as is Ashley Greene .

She was a total knock-out wearing a Prabal Gurung Fall 2009 ravishing red gown.

The high-neck gown had an incredibly sexy draping detail at the back.

Half-up-half-down hairstyles usually bother me, but Ashley has so much good going on I can not fault her.

Noot Seear surprised me being the 3rd celebrity to wear a piece from Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2010 collection.

I’ll admit I didn’t know who she was, but the Canadian actress sure does justice to this reptile print dress.

Instead of the Armadillo heels she opted for a sexy pair of strappy platform heels.

Anna Kendrick sparkled on the red carpet wearing a Talbot Runhof Fall 2009 black asymmetrical one sleeve sequin-mini dress.

This dress sure does put you in the festive spirit with the red and white studs which add a bit of colour to this cute/sexy mini.

She completed her look with Stella McCartney heels.

I’m very grateful to Christian Serratos for modifying this Rafael Cennamo Fall 2009 gown into a cute and sassy mini dress.

I just wish her gold and silver pailette covered mini dress was worn with better shoes.

Those bronze ankle boots are like kryptonite to my eyes.

Author Stephenie Meyer glided down the red carpet wearing a custom-made Carolina Herrera gown with a mermaid hem.

The gown is loosely based black and grey embroidered sheath dress which was presented on the Fall 2009 runway.

I love how much more dramatic Stephenie’s gown is to the runway look.

A chic updo and Gothic beads complete this stunning look.

Julia Jones showed off her legs wearing a sexy coral BCBG Max Azria mini dress.

I just love this colour against her caramel skin.

What a beauty.

Julianne Hough’s look has a touch of de ja vu to it, as it reminds me of the Prabal Gurung look we saw on Becki Newton recently.

Nikki Reed opted for a stunning silk baby blue Burberry mini dress, paired with Christian Louboutin heels.
