Designer Of The Week – Francisco Costa For Calvin Klein

Thanks to Thursday nights “Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC Event”, Francisco Costa takes the title of “Designer of the Week” for Calvin Klein.

Kate Bosworth was by far my leading lady here and along with Ginnifer Goodwin who are both up for Best Dressed Of The Week.

Kate’s really been doing justice to Francisco Costa designs lately, as she also looked stunning at the Golden Globes after party in a Calvin Klein creation.

This collection is full of gorgeous pastels and floaty white dresses and I really like the light weight feel of all these looks.

“Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event – Melissa George In Calvin Klein

What is this Fashion Felony Friday?

This is no way close to being as bad as Kelis, but I really don’t like Melissa George’s look.

The actress attended the “Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event in LA last night wearing a nude ribbed long-sleeve Calvin Klein dress, with nude heels and box clutch.

The colour of this shapeless dress, which she wears without a bra does nothing for her.

She may have thought the berry lip was a nice way to add a pop of colour to her look, but she’s too washed out for the colour to have a positive impact.

“Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event – Kate Bosworth In Calvin Klein

Kate Bosworth has a wonderful golden glow which already has me very interested in her look.

The blonde actress opted for a soft coral Calvin Klein 3/4 length sleeved dress when she attended the “Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event in LA last night.

The dress colour and her tan are a winning combination, as are her gold accessories.

I’m not one to go gaga over Kate, but I really love this look.

Runway To “Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event – Ginnifer Goodwin in Calvin Klein

Actress Ginnifer Goodwin wore a Calvin Klein Spring 2010 ruched nude mini dress to the “Calvin Klein’s LA Arts Month And ALAC” Event in LA.

At first glance, I quite liked this. It’s soft and feminine, and the sheer puff shoulders are gorgeous.

If anyone knows how to do chic simplicity, it’s Ginnifer.

I also really like the long necklace that Ginnifer has worn with the dress, as it stops the look from becoming too bland.

But the more I look at it, the more I think something is missing.

My main issue with this outfit is that she has chosen to match her shoes and clutch bag to her dress. To me it seems to be crying out for some colour.

How do you feel about this look?

2010 SAG Awards – Michelle Monaghan In Calvin Klein

It’s A Grower Award
My first reaction was to dislike Michelle Monaghan’s Calvin Klein one-shoulder gun-metal dress, but after sleeping on it my mind has changed.

What I love about the two tone grey dress, is that is not like anything else on this red carpet.

Whilst most wore satin or chiffon gowns, Michelle gave us something totally different with this beautiful haunting creation.

Her earrings are exquisite, whilst she matched her dress with Christian Louboutin Ole Ole pewter goa lame platform pumps.

Runway To Golden Globes After Party – Kate Bosworth In Calvin Klein

Kate Bosworth looked beautiful at the InStyle and Warner Brothers Golden Globes after party in a Calvin Klein Resort 2010 white dress which sits slightly off-the-shoulder.

I think she looks incredibly fresh and sexy here, with minimal make up and a cute plait.

Her hairstyle was created by celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh and I really love it. I predict plaits are going to seen everywhere this year thanks to Alexander Wang and Miu Miu.

We’ve already seen Wang-inspired plaits on Blake Lively and Cheryl Cole.

Not so long ago Rachel McAdams wore a side plait to the Sherlock Holmes World Premiere and it really divided opinions.

Kate finished her look off with Cartier jewels.

Runway To Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony – Michelle Obama In Calvin Klein

We have seen Michelle Obama wear many designers, but for the first time today she wore Calvin Klein.

This look was worn to the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony, where President Barack Obama accepted the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize at the Oslo City Hall in Norway.

The First Lady wore a chartreuse laser cut velvet dress and laser cut velvet jacket from the Fall 2009, but her two piece were custom-made.

I love the look without the coat, in which she wears metallic kitten heels, a Nina Ricci cardigan *ducks* and a stunning necklace.

I know many of you hate her wearing cardigans at such formal event, so how do you feel about his look?
