Doutzen Kroes In Calvin Klein Collection - 'Jimmy P

Doutzen Kroes attended the ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian)’ premiere this evening at the Grand Théâtre Lumière during the Cannes Film Festival.

The model wore a bootylicious Calvin Klein Collection gown designed by Francisco Costa.

Her figure-hugging white long-sleeve gown, which also had an open back, was styled with Calvin Klein sandals, red lips and silver jewels with pointy edges.

Even when tries to do sexy, she always maintains her sweet persona.

IFP, Calvin Klein Collection & Euphoria Calvin Klein Celebrate Women In Film

The IFP, Calvin Klein Collection & Euphoria Calvin Klein celebrated Women In Film during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival yesterday evening. All the attendees were of course decked out in Calvin Klein.

Nicole Kidman: The actress, who has been on fire so far this festival, wore a leather dress from the Fall 2013 collection with Jimmy Choo ‘Balma’ pumps and Fred Leighton jewels. The most interesting feature of this look is the cut-out details in the skirt. Sadly, they’re not highlighted in this picture.

Carey Mulligan: Also opting for black, the actress styled her simple strapless Calvin Klein LBD with her favourite Brian Atwood ‘Aida’ sandals.

Naomie Harris: The beautiful actress showed off her toned figures wearing an ecru halter dress from the Resort 2013 collection featuring cut-out details at the waist. As always, her styling was impeccable.

Rooney Mara: In Rooney’s early days, when she sported long wavy brunette locks, her go-to dress was always nude. It appears that, even though she now tends to favour black or white, she still can’t resist a nude frock. Her last nude dress left her looking washed out and ghostly; however, this look is the perfect hue to complement her skin tone.

Naomie Harris In Calvin Klein - ‘The Great Gatsby’ Premiere & Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony

There was more glamour to be had on the red carpet this evening at ‘The Great Gatsby’ Cannes Film Festival premiere, which also served as the opening ceremony, courtesy of Naomie Harris.

The British actress blew me away wearing a Calvin Klein Collection silver bugle beaded strapless gown with a tonal waistband.

Now if you are having a touch of déjà vu, that may be because this look is taking you back to the Vanity Fair Party where Jennifer Lawrence’s Calvin Klein gown had the same sort of bedazzlement.

Looking so sharp you could cut yourself, she styled her look to perfection with no jewels, metallic sandals, and a black satin metal frame bag both by the same designer.

Flawless makeup and a tight bun to highlight her beauty completed her look.

NBC and FOX Presents Their Programming for 2013

NBC and FOX presented their programming for 2013 in New York City on Monday evening.

Alexis Bledel: Almost blending into the FOX background, the ‘Mad Men’ actress wore a scoop-neck Oscar de la Renta dress in a colour that can be best described as Tiffany-blue. Opting for comfort, Alexis styled her look with gold Cynthia Vincent gladiator flats.

Amy Poehler: It’s not often we see Amy wearing something so colourful. Her summery Theia dress was styled with electric-blue Jimmy Choo pumps.

Minka Kelly: Adding a bit of spice to the red carpet, the actress opted for a sexy one-shoulder printed frock with simple styling which included black strappy sandals.

Met Men

To celebrate the new ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’ exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, some of the biggest celebs walked down the red carpet. In honour of the exhibit, many of the men chose to give their formal looks a bit of punk inspiration, which made for an exciting menswear event.

Eddie Redmayne: The red carpet phenom added another beautiful look to his collection, wearing a Dior Homme navy-blue wool tuxedo with black grosgrain peak lapels. As always, it fit just right. To finish it off, Eddie added a white cotton shirt, a black satin bow tie, a white pocket square, and black patent-leather derbies.

Frank Ocean: In a Givenchy black tuxedo, Frank looked incredibly dapper for the event. His two-button notch-lapel tux fit well and he paired it classically with a white shirt and black bow tie. To give the outfit a little kick of punk, Frank opted for shoes with silver studs going around the soles – a very cool addition.

Joshua Jackson: I’ve never been OK with wearing a red tie to a red carpet event. It’s cheesy. I don’t like that aspect of his outfit, but I love the beige linen lapels on his Dior Homme black suit. Even though it’s a small detail on his jacket, it made for a stylish look. Joshua topped it off with a white cotton shirt and a Chanel ‘J12 Black Matte Ceramic’ watch.

Met Gala 2013

Here is a roundup of the rest of the ladies who took to the red carpet for the 2013 Met Gala on Monday evening. Models @ The Met post will follow.

Brooklyn Decker: The actress wore a custom Peter Pilotto look inspired by the Spring 2013 collection. While the look is custom I feel like I have seen this look several times before, so there is nothing fresh or new about it, unlike other custom looks as showcased by Karolina Kurkova and several others. Her Sergio Rossi ‘Hypnos’ sandals, however, are a work of art.

Alicia Keys: The singer took to the red carpet wearing a custom Jason Wu gown. Her black leather and bordeaux sequin embroidered halter gown is beautiful, but I wish Alicia had pushed the punk vibe with the styling a bit more; the red streaks in her hair aren’t enough for me, especially when we know Alicia isn’t afraid of taking a fashion risk. Robert Lee Morris jewels and a vintage clutch completed her look.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: The actress wore a beautiful custom Calvin Klein scarlet gown for the occasion which was punked up as far as she would go with a studded choker and a Tod’s black studded clutch with a gold frame. While I do love this look, I wish Maggie had gone bra shopping before this event.
