Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a look as some of the leading men on the red carpet this week.

Tom Hardy: The actor joined Grace Dove on the red carpet for ‘The Revenant’ LA premiere wearing a Gucci Made to Order grey peak lapel one button three piece Marseille suit with a dash of bad boy charm.

John Boyega: Opting to go sans leather glove on this occasion, the British actor attended the London premiere of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ alongside co-stars Daisy Ridley and Lupita Nyong’o wearing a sleek Burberry tuxedo with luxe velvet loafers.

Jake Gyllenhaal: The actor attended a photocall during day eight of the 12th annual Dubai International Film Festival serving up Italian refinement in Salvatore Ferragamo.

We’ve seen a lot of great suits this week, and these three fine gentlemen are ensuring that menswear is kept to a high standard.

John Boyega: The young actor was looking very sharp in his Burberry navy suit while promoting ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, in Seoul, South Korea this week. Going sans tie ensure the look stayed easy and relaxed.

Rob Lowe: Gwyneth Paltrow joined the handsome actor while he received his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame this week. I adore his navy windowpane Burberry Tailoring suit with the contrasting green tie, but those brown shoes feel too causal for this look.

Michael B Jordan: Continuing to stand in a stylish league all of his own, the actor attended the Opening Night Gala of ‘Room’ during day one of the 12th annual Dubai International Film Festival last night (December 9). Polished to perfection, his Givenchy suit was a refreshingly dapper look that more than upheld the gentleman code. Who else – apart from Eddie Redmayne – can make a polka dot suit jacket work?

‘Spectre’ London Premiere Menswear Roundup

bond men
A trio of guys caught many a gaze at the ‘Spectre’ premiere on Monday (October 26) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

Daniel Craig: The man of the hour was dressed in a James Bond-worthy black Tom Ford tuxedo that was every bit as classic and sharp as we’d expect.

Sam Smith: Going the route of a white shawl-collar dinner jacket, the singer wore a head-to-toe Prada ensemble. Aside from the strange collarless white button-down shirt that exposed the full bow-tie, this look would have held some promise.

Patrick Dempsey
: Much sleeker was the actor in a Burberry Tailoring contrast-lapel tuxedo. The handsome combination of charcoal gray and black was perfectly rounded out with the addition of the matching black bow tie for a subtle yet effective finish.

Here is a roundup of some of our leading men who took to the red carpet this week.

Zachary Quinto: The actor attended the Fashion Group International Night Of Stars Gala yesterday evening (October 22). It’s the subtle touches here which intrigue me like the silk jacquard jacket and the contrasting buttons. As always Zachary is all about attention to the smallest detail.

Bradley Cooper: Joining Sienna Miller on the red carpet for the ‘Burnt’ New York premiere on Tuesday (October 20), the actor tapped into contemporary suiting with this midnight blue three-piece set from Dolce & Gabbana.

Justin Timerblake: The singer was looking very much the modern man wearing his suit with a Givenchy contrast striped shirt for a complete showcase of quintessential finesse at the Night Of Stars Gala.

A handful of gentleman have been on the scene the past few days attending a range of premieres and photocalls.

Chiwetel Ejiofor: The actor was at the 53rd New York Film Festival for ‘The Martian’ premiere at Alice Tully Hall on Sunday (September 27). His tweedy Thom Sweeney three-piece suit added a sharp textural component to the standard-issue gray colourway.

Tom Hiddleston: For the ‘Crimson Peak’ premiere at UGC Cine Cite Bercy in Paris, France on Monday (September 28), Tom took a corporate-inspired approach in a saturated navy Polo Ralph Lauren ensemble. There was nothing so special about the suit, but it derived its power in the way the mix of blues enhanced his handsome gaze.
