Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Fashion and tennis collided at the WTA Pre-Wimbledon Party, held at The Roof Gardens in Kensington, London last night.

We have already seen Maria Sharapova. Here are the rest of the attendees who took to the green carpet.

Serena Williams: The tennis ace was once again dressed by Burberry for this annual event. Her purple taffeta frock with black sheer straps was styled with black t-bar sandals and a selection of silver jewels. The thing I love most about her look are her voluminous curls.

Ana Ivanovic: The young star wore a pretty Matthew Williamson feather-accented frock which complemented her statuesque frame. The stunning lace dress also features a cluster of gold paillettes and beaded details. It may seem like quite a lot of detail, but she carries it off with great aplomb. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin matching heels with a gold toe-cap and a mahogany clutch.
Whilst I love the elegant updo, I wish she applied fake tan to her feet. I guess that is what happens when training in sunny conditions wearing thick tennis socks.

Anne Keothavong: The British number one ranked player wore a baroque-inspired Alexander McQueen ‘Fil’ coupé jacquard green-and-black dress. She styled her look with tights (it’s been a while since I saw tights on the red carpet), black pumps (the same can’t be said for those) and a sweeping ponytail.

Emma Stone’s next stop was Seoul, South Korea, where she attended a press conference at the Ritz Carlton Hotel for her latest movie, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’.

After failing to set alight the red carpet at the premiere last night in Toyko, she fairs much better in this Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 ensemble.

Opting for an autumn colour palette, the look consisted of a blue-and-olive striped top teamed with a black pencil skirt with a cascading ruffle.

I love how the aqua-blue beaded neckline and bright red Brian Atwood pumps add some vibrancy to the look.

I’m glad Emma didn’t wear a bow-accented belt, as it would’ve made the look too cutesy.

Gold jewels and a neutral lip colour completed her sophisticated look.

I wouldn’t change a thing about this look. Would you?

Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted leaving a midtown hotel in New York City yesterday following meetings to promote her new movie ‘The Avengers’.

With Scarlett Johansson and Cobie Smulders taking care of the red-carpet duties, it’s easy to forget that Gwynie will be reprising her role as Pepper Potts.

The actress looked very chic wearing a Burberry Pre-Fall 2012 look.

Normally I would be complaining about so much Pre-Fall being worn by celebrities, but if the weather is anything like it is in London, then Fall clothes are very appropriate.

Gwyneth’s knit fitted dress with ruching on the hips and a light ruffled centre was teamed with a Victoria Beckham bag.

This is the first sighting of a celebrity carrying a bag from the Victoria Beckham collection other than VB herself and BFF Eva Longoria.

Black leather Sergio Rossi ‘Secret’ pumps, matching nail polish, naturally wavy tresses and what appears to be little to no makeup (yet she still looks gorgeous) complete this sophisticated look.

You can buy the bright orange and canvas Victoria Beckham bag from Net-A-Porter International, the black version is available from Harrods.com, the merlot leather and vermillion suede version is available from Net-A-Porter US and the tan and canvas version is available from Harrods.com.

Delta Goodrem was joined by many more stars on the red carpet at the 2012 Logie Awards held at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium to celebrate Australia’s finest talents on television.

Megan Gale: It’s no surprise to see Megan wearing an Alex Perry gown as she’s worn the designer on several occasions. Her sultry black dress with sheer panels including a deep-v cut-out was teamed with a black-and-white Bulgari clutch. Had the clutch been nude and black, this look would’ve been a perfect 10. As presented, it’s a 9.5.

Kate Richie: My, hasn’t Sally Fletcher grown. Those who grew up watching ‘Home & Away’ after school won’t recognise Kate Ritchie. I can’t believe she’s now 33 years old and looking absolutely stunning wearing a Steven Khalil midnight-blue gown. She really brought the glamour to this event with her sequined dress and with an equally bedazzling clutch and jewels. Ladylike sexy chic red-carpet dressing at its best.

Asher Keddie: You can’t have a high-profile event in Australia without a look from the Australian Couture kings from J’Aton Couture. It would be like an Oscars without Elie Saab. This might be the Marmite dress of the group; you’ll either love it or hate it. I love it. It’s tantalizing sheer without being tacky, as it’s worn with much grace and sophistication. The attention to detail on the embroidery is magnificent and Asher let the dress do all the talking by not adding any accessories.

On Monday, stars took to the red carpet for AMC’s Season 2 premiere of ‘The Killing’ at the ArcLight Cinema in Hollywood, California.

Mireille Enos: The actress wore a graphic floral-print Rachel Roy mini dress with long sleeves, almost as long as her skirt. Giuseppe Zanotti toe-cap pumps and a black clutch completed her look. I love how both accessories complemented her floral-print dress.

Jamie Anne Allman: Wearing a Na Kahn dress, the actress attempted to jazz up her look with a red Camille Zarsky Portfolio clutch. I think the overall look would’ve been made more interesting had the shoes been the ones to have more colour. I currently have nude-pump fatigue.

Kristin Lehman: She wore a Burberry Prorsum tribal-printed dress from the Resort 2012 collection. This look would’ve been much improved without the black jersey sleeves and midriff. Her midi dress was teamed with black ankle-strap pumps. This look is wrong on so many levels. I never thought I would say that about a Burberry look.

Some girls have all the luck.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has a banging body, good looks, an action hero boyfriend, now she can add a Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012 bag to her list.

The model/actress was already back in New York on Thursday after sitting front row at the Burberry Fall 2012 show on Monday.

It looked to be a fruitful trip, as she’s the first to snag herself one of the bags from the presentation.

No wonder she looks so damn happy.

Her top-handle chequered bag with a leather bow accent just shot to the top of my wish list.
