Best Dressed Of The Week – Keira Knightley In Michael Van Der Ham, Kate Bosworth In BOSS & Eddie Redmayne In Burberry Prorsum

Keira Knightley in Michael Van Der Ham and Kate Bosworth in BOSS were your best dressed this week.

You were swept away by the dark romance of Keira’s look – which saw her make a brief and welcome change from the expected – as much as you were blown away by Kate Bosworth’s matchy red ensemble, which was my personal favourite this week.

When it came to the gents there was no such competition, as the clear favourite was Eddie Redmayne in Burberry Prorsum. Even the suaveness of usual favourite Douglas Booth couldn’t come close to Eddie’s well-styled brightly coloured suit, which for some would be a risk, but this is standard practice for Eddie.

Eddie Redmayne In Alexander McQueen & Burberry – HFPA & InStyle’s 2014 TIFF Celebration & ‘Theory of Everything’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Eddie Redmayne In Alexander McQueen & Burberry - HFPA & InStyle's 2014 TIFF Celebration & 'Theory of Everything' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Eddie Redmayne attended the HFPA & InStyle’s 2014 TIFF Celebration on September 6 and the premiere of the film ‘The Theory of Everything’ on September 7 at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.

Party: An Alexander McQueen black and cream Prince of Wales check suit worn with a navy tie is a handsome, classic look, and the addition of the grey suede tassel slippers offers the perfect dash of fashion-forward whimsy.

Premiere: A teal, double-breasted Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 suit with a navy tie and pocket square is a sharp color combination, and classic patent shoes complete the modern look. I love how much fun Eddie has with fashion–he knows fashion isn’t only a woman’s game.

Cara Delevingne In Burberry Prorsum – 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards

Cara Delevingne In Burberry Prorsum - 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards

Cara Delevingne captured plenty of stares at the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards, hosted in association with Hugo Boss at The Royal Opera House in London, England on Tuesday (September 2).

In keeping with the sexy occasion, the model made sure to show that the sheer trend is in no danger of extinction with a Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 lacy plunge gown worn with a gold pendant chain necklace.

Yes, it’s a sexy, racy statement; and, yes, it possibly could pass for a lace negligee, even when toughened up with black booties. But if anyone can brandish this sort of bold statement, she can.

While the dress should be the attention-grabber here, I’m having a hard time getting past Cara’s distracting vampire-esque makeup and, ahem, mouth accessory. The dress was daring enough as it is.

Love or loathe?

Olivia Palermo In Burberry Prorsum – Chadstone ‘Icons of Style’ Launch

Olivia Palermo In Burberry Prorsum - Chadstone 'Icons of Style' Launch

Olivia Palermo is in Melbourne, Australia fulfilling her ambassadorial role for Chadstone’s Icons Of Style campaign, where she is set to share her style secrets during her trip Down Under.

While headed to the launch event she was spotted look oh-so-very chic wearing a Burberry Prorsum Fall 2014 ensemble which featured a long-sleeved hand-printed floral- and leaf-print ankle-length dress styled the same way as we saw it on the runway, with a graphic-print scarf belted around the waist.

The rest of her styling was her own, with a yellow statement clutch and Aquazzura shoes.

While the shoes are not from her Aquazzura x Olivia Palermo collaboration, you can buy the pieces exclusively from Net-A-Porter.com.

You may remember that Maggie Gyllenhaal wore this same dress sans scarf earlier this year.
