Nieves Alvarez Burberry

The statuesque Nieves Alvarez dialed up the glam quotient on Solo Moda this weekend.

In keeping with her current one-exclusive-designer-per-episode policy, on Saturday the TV host turned to Burberry Prorsum’s Spring 2013 collection.

Nieves showcased her femme fatale curves in one of my favourites from the collection, the pink jewel-toned metallic strapless dress replete with curve detailing at the corset bust and a subtle peplum detail at the waist. The yellow peep-toe pumps added the perfect finishing touch and pop of colour to this high-shine supercharged look.

Next up, Nieves opted for a studied chic look in a tailored white silk Burberry Prorsum trench with a retro cape paired with cut-out Christian Louboutin ankle boots. I would have loved it if she had opted to inject a touch of colour into this fabulous outerwear with a pair of bold killer heels.

Her final Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 ensemble is one I’ve admired before on Emma Stone at the 2012 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Awards. This gorgeous structured navy-blue peplum corset top with a black waistband donned with a decadent sparkly green pencil skirt is a stellar look that could have been a real winner had Nieves chosen a more dramatic shoe to complete the look.

Harry Styles In Burberry Prorsum - 19th Birthday Party

Harry Styles celebrated his 19th birthday partying at The Alibi club in London, Saturday night.

The One Direction singer was spotted leaving the club with friends at around 3.00am headed to a private house to continue the party.

Harry wore a navy shirt with a heart print which was recently presented during Burberry Prorsum’s Fall 2013 ‘I ♥ Classics’ collection.

Keeping the look low-key he styled his shirt with black jeans and brown suede scuffed ankle boots.

Romeo Beckham In Burberry Prorsum - Cirque du Soleil

The Beckhams were out in London yesterday evening to watch the Cirque du Soleil show in the capital.

I wasn’t surprised to see the newest fashion favourite in the Beckham household don the brightest colours.

Romeo Beckham, face of the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 campaign, wore black pants, a black t-shirt and a printed scarf with his Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 blue-and-aqua metallic bomber jacket.

He looks so adorable. He’s definitely adopted Victoria’s love for fashion.

It looks like Elle Fanning and Kiernan Shipka have competition for Best Dressed Teen of the year, and Eddie Redmayne has some serious competition for Best Dressed Male of the year.

Despite having a strong disagreement about one look during the week, we both decided on one winner for BDOTW – Naomi Watts.

Her Roland Mouret look incorporated all my favourite things: an electric-blue hue, a body skimming fit and a mermaid hem. What’s not to love?

When it came to menswear, our tastes differed.

Eddie Redmayne took a strong lead for his forest-green Burberry Prorsum velvet suit, which was both suave and festive.

I opted for John Krasinski’s Calvin Klein sleek grey suit with black lapels. Had the suit not had the black lapels, I’m not sure the look would’ve won me over.

Eddie Redmayne joined Amanda Seyfried on the red carpet this evening in London’s Leicester Square for the world premiere of ‘Les Miserables’.

It will come as no surprise to you to see that he is wearing his favourite brand, Burberry.

Looking savvy in a teal velvet suit with a skinny-fit, notched-lapel jacket with matching pants from the British label’s Fall 2012 collection, he added a white shirt and grey tie.

Brown Oxford lace-ups completed his look.
