V&A Fashioned from Nature VIP Preview

The V&A Fashioned from Nature VIP Preview on Wednesday (April 18) in London, England saw a few attendees pay tribute to the naturalistic theme.

Natalie Imbruglia: Turning heads with a captivating pattern and a voluminous silhouette, the Australian singer wore Bora Aksu Spring 2018. The muted blue prevents the heart pattern from become twee. Presumably, she added the jacket for a similar reason, but I would have liked to see the ensemble without it. The Bottega Veneta clutch was more successful.

Arizona Muse: The model’s white Stella McCartney outfit had a subtle flapper sentiment with the short silhouette, long necklace and her sculpted waves. The white and blue combination has such a refreshing springtime air but I wish the necklace was shortened so it wouldn’t compete with the delicate peplum.

Ellise Chappell: The ‘Poldark’ actress embraced the natural theme with a whimsical dress from Alice Archer. The frills, sheer polka dot fabric and watercolour floral print are brimming with romance. The metallic shoes added more ethereal beauty.

2018 SAG Awards Red Carpet Roundup

We always do our best to cover everyone, but a few slip through the net. Here is our final sweep of the red carpet for the 2018 SAG Awards.

Kate Nash: My first reaction to Kate in this Bora Aksu dress was, “yikes”, followed by “what on earth possessed you?” Too many frills, too prairie and too much going on; especially from the waist down. This was easily my least favourite of the night.

Niecy Nash: The actress, who was one of the presenters on the night, wore a gorgeous green-hued Julea Domani gown. As always Niecy leaves me spellbound, as she consistently picks the right looks to enhance her gorgeous figure.

ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

From ELLE’s 24th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday (October 16) in Beverly Hills, California, we’ve seen the likes of Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence. Here is a roundup of the rest of the gorgeous actresses who were in attendance.

Jessica Chastain: The vinyl Fashion Week trend didn’t go down too well with the majority, but Jessica put her graceful spin on the trend in Calvin Klein which is the most glamorous interpretation I’ve seen yet.

Margot Robbie: After a colourful week promoting ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’, Margot opted for the simple elegance of Calvin Klein. I adore the sensuality of this look, plus the embellished sandals.

Zoe Lister-Jones: The Chinese influence of her gorgeous McQ Alexander McQueen floral dress is there for all to see. It’s the complementary styling of Irene Neuwirth and blue suede shoes which really perfected the look.

Poppy Delevingne In Bora Aksu – Out In New York

Poppy Delevingne showcased her sartorial elegance on Monday (June 19) as she was seen out and about in New York.

Pale pinks and icy blues are what Bora Aksu does best, and this blue and white floral shirt and skirt combo didn’t disappoint. The model looked comfortable in the coordinated look which had hints of her usual bohemian and feminine aesthetic.

I love the ruffles on the collar and laid-back rolled up sleeves, which gives the look an instant relaxed feel when compared to the runway.

The entire colour palette feels soothing and relaxing; the perfect antidote to the scorching temperatures, don’t you think?

Dove Cameron In Bora Aksu – 42nd Annual Gracie Awards

Dove Cameron was also at the 42nd annual Gracie Awards on Tuesday (June 6) in Beverly Hills, California alongside Mandy Moore.

The Disney Channel starlet balanced ruffled girly brightness with rebel edge by introducing a black collar choker and black sandals to this Bora Aksu Spring 2017 frock.

However, I found her styling to be nothing more than a distraction to the vibrant interplay of magenta and orange hues that were beautiful against her alabaster complexion.

The dress also appeared a bit too big, slightly swallowing her more petite height.

Ophelia Lovibond In Bora Aksu – 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Ophelia Lovibond graced the red carpet for the Glamour Women of The Year Awards on Tuesday (June 6) in London.

Knowing Ophelia’s love for the distinctive aesthetic of early 20th century, I wasn’t surprised to see her gravitate towards this Bora Aksu Fall 2017 dress.

It’s pretty, sweet and delicate plus it possesses an ethereal femininity thanks to the ruffles, lace panels and of course that pastel blue hue.

Opting to dial down the saccharin the actress wore a divine pair of pink and blue patent leather Camilla Elphick sandals and a sparkling clutch.
