‘After Earth’ New York Premiere

The entire Smith family were out in full force to celebrate the ‘After Earth’ premiere starring Jaden Smith and Will Smith, which was held at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City yesterday evening.

Trey and Jaden opted for all-black and all-white suits respectively, while Will opted for a bright-red three-piece suit with a white-shirt-black-tie combo.

Jaden looked uber cool; not many could pull off an all-white look. Trey looked very dapper, while Will’s look doesn’t work for me. It’s the styling which lets him down, as other men have worn red suits before with greater success.

As for the ladies, Willow continues to tone things down, keeping things simple wearing a black-and-white collared jumpsuit, while Jada, like Will, opted for something more colourful, wearing a Blumarine Fall 2013 floral mini dress with a petal shaped skirt which she styled with a pink Jimmy Choo clutch and red-and-white Alaia suede-and-stingray caged strappy sandals.

Selena Gomez In Vince & Blumarine – 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards

Selena Gomez took to the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Saturday in California prior to her performance at the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards.

The singer/actress wore a black leather Vince short-sleeved top with a slightly modified black-and-white Blumarine floral-print origami mini skirt from the Fall 2013 collection, which showed off her slender pins.

Nicholas Kirkwood heels have always been hot property on the red carpet, but this particular pair are getting a fourth outing, following Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman and Solange Knowles.

Opting not to wear a bindi on this occasion, Selena completed her look with sleek straight locks, kohl-rimmed eyes and a glossy fuchsia lip colour.

Megan Montaner In Blumarine – 2013 Malaga Film Festival Opening Ceremony

There was yet another gorgeous gown to take to the red carpet during the 2013 Malaga Film Festival in Spain on Saturday, this time courtesy of Megan Montaner.

Like Juana Acosta, the actress also opted for a summery hue, selecting a gorgeous coral Blumarine Resort 2013 gown which was slightly modified from the look book version, with a more open neckline.

Not only do I prefer the neckline, but I also love her styling, with a thin python belt, a Christian Louboutin ‘Mina’ gold spiked clutch, and stunning Magerit jewels.

Sporting a side-parted bun, the actress’ smouldering smoky eyes and pink lips rounded out her look.

Karolina Kurkova In Giorgio Armani & Blumarine – Tribeca Film Festival

The usually colourful Karolina Kurkova sported not only two all-black looks this week, but two menswear-inspired looks.

I’m noticing a trend for menswear-inspired looks, with both Carey Mulligan and Rebecca Hall opting to take this route this week.

Vanity Fair Tribeca Film Festival Opening Night Party: On Tuesday, the model donned an Armani look which featured a cropped waist-baring tuxedo jacket and oversized palazzo pants. As we’ve seen in the past, the model rounded off her menswear-inspired look with a severe centre-parted bun and red lippie. The only thing putting me off this look are the pants with an elasticated waist. They really pull down the look.

‘For The Love Of Cinema’ Tribeca Film Festival Dinner: On this occasion, she showed off her slender pins wearing a Blumarine Fall 2013 tuxedo dress. Opting for a more feminine approach, Karolina’s notch-lapel tuxedo jacket was paired with a tulip-shaped satin uber-mini skirt decorated with black and silver embellishments. Free-flowing tresses, smoky eyes, silver jewels and a box clutch completed her look.

I love the flirty, feminine take on menswear with her Blumarine look. Of the two, I would put this one up for BDOTW.

Selena Gomez In Blumarine – ‘Spring Breakers’ Madrid Photocall

Continuing to keep us guessing about her style choices for her ‘Spring Breakers’ promo tour, Selena Gomez stepped out once again to promote the movie at the Madrid photocall on Thursday at the Villamagna Hotel in Spain.

After sauntering out a skin-baring Gucci mini and a sexy Atelier Versace suit, this ladylike Blumarine ensemble was downright demure for the young starlet.

The only thing remotely wild here was the neon chartreuse colour of her painted chiffon blouse.

When paired with a high-waisted white pencil skirt and plain black Casadei pumps, this was another mature moment for Selena.

Black gemstone earrings and long waves topped off this dressy office look.
