Balmain Spring 2015 Front Row

Balmain Spring 2015 Front Row

Olivier Rousteing presented his Spring 2015 collection for Balmain yesterday (September 25), sending some of our favourite models down the runway including Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Here’s a look at who saw the show first hand in the front row.

Noomi Rapace: Hmm… I’m starting to think that Noomi has lost her mojo. Usually styled to perfection, this zebra-print blazer and striped sequin dress effort doesn’t impress me much as the styling is so uninspired. You can tell she just threw it on.

Kim Kardashian: Seated in the front row alongside her mother and husband, Kanye West, to see her kid sister Kendal Jenner take the runway, the reality star made a better representation of a Balmain girl. Dressed in a Balmain Resort 2015 patterned frock, the piece was styled with Balmain lace-up booties and accessorized with a choker and cuffs from the Spring 2015 collection. Love her or hate her, she looked much better than Noomi Rapace.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Balmain – Coca Cola Life Launch

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Balmain - Coca Cola Life Launch

Having lent her gorgeous face to Moroccanoil earlier in the week, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended a photocall to launch Coca Cola Life on Friday (September 19) in London, England.

Opting for yet another plunging number, the British model wore a look from Balmain’s Resort 2015 collection.

The white cape-like mini frock with a black tie to the waist looks amazing on the lookbook model but I am not a fan of the modifications on Rosie.

Yes, wearing an original version would’ve been a tad much for the daytime launch, so saving this for another event would’ve been preferred to adding an illusion panel.

Hair- and makeup-wise she looked stunning, with snakeskin Giuseppe Zanotti sandals rounding out her look.

Cameron Diaz In Balmain – ‘Sex Tape’ Paris Photocall

Cameron Diaz In Balmain - 'Sex Tape' Paris Photocall

Following the London photocall for ‘Sex Tape’, Cameron Diaz hopped on the Eurostar to Paris for a second round of European promotions of the movie – a photocall held at the Hotel Bristol in Paris, France.

Keeping up the casual-yet-chic vibe, the actress wore dark denim jeans and a white top paired with a zebra-print Balmain blazer, which helps to give this look an edge and prevent it from being too plain and pedestrian, as do the cut-out booties.

It looks like the actress is shelving those mini dresses for now. Are you enjoying this new phase?

Lindsay Lohan In Balmain – 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards

Lindsay Lohan In Balmain - 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards

Lindsay Lohan was one of the guest presenters at the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards held at The Royal Opera House on Tuesday (September 2) in London, England.

The actress’s red carpet moments aren’t always that great, with a lot more dishevelment than style, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely she scrubbed up on this occasion.

Wearing a Balmain Fall 2014 long-sleeved gown encrusted with diamantes creating zebra stripes and with a slash to the thigh, she styled her frock with a selection of silver jewels and black pumps.

I can’t fault the hair or makeup either.

Is this a hit or miss for you?

Joan Smalls In Balmain – 2014 MTV Video Music Awards #VMA

Joan Smalls In Balmain - 2014 MTV Video Music Awards #VMA

Of all the models who attended the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards held at The Forum on Sunday (August 24) in Inglewood, California, Joan Smalls was the only one who totally nailed her look.

Part of Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain-army, the model worked an poncho-like mini dress lavishly beaded in Native American motifs from the Resort 2015 collection.

The uber chic look was styled with sexy black Louboutin sandals and Chopard jewels with barely-there makeup and natural curls rounded out her look.

She was easily one of the best on the night. Do you agree?
