Kim Kardashian In Balmain – 2014 Teen Choice Awards

Kim Kardashian In Balmain - 2014 Teen Choice Awards

Kim Kardashian joined sister Kendall Jenner on the red carpet for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (August 10) in Los Angeles, California, where she picked up a surfboard for their reality TV show, ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’.

She was somewhat predictable in Balmain, especially since she’s done the leather and animal-print look before.

On this occasion she must have been sweltering, wearing a long-sleeved knotted Pre-Fall 2014 crop top which she styled with a zebra-print pencil skirt.

I expected better footwear from her.

Nicola Peltz In Balmain – ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ Rio de Janeiro Premiere

Nicola Peltz In Balmain - 'Transformers Age of Extinction' Rio de Janeiro Premiere

Nicola Peltz attended the ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ premiere held at the Cinépolis Lagoon on Wednesday (July 16) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Taking an extended break from her favourite colour, white, the actress turned things up several notches donning a Balmain Fall 2014 two-piece look featuring a black-corded and gold-accented halter crop top and leather pencil skirt, which she styled with black Saint Laurent pumps.

While I’m enjoying this change of direction, sandals and perhaps a slicked-back ‘do would’ve been very welcome

Smoky eyes and sleek tresses completed her look.

Do you prefer Nicola’s edgy or sweet red carpet looks, or are you enjoying both equally?

Kim Kardashian & Kendall Jenner In Balmain – Vogue Foundation Gala

Kim Kardashian & Kendall Jenner In Balmain - Vogue Foundation Gala

Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner attended the Vogue Foundation Gala during Couture Fashion Week held at the Palais Galliera on Wednesday (July 9) in Paris, France following the Valentino Fall 2014 Couture show.

The reality star and model were part of Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain troop who attended en masse wearing looks from his Fall 2014 collection.

Kim Kardashian: Opting for a military look with a touch of animal magic, Kim donned a Fall 2014 look featuring a black corded top with gold detailing and a leopard-print skirt accented with a green waistband. Factor in those tan Hermes sandals and I have to say I don’t hate it (N.B. I don’t love it either).

Kendall Jenner: Having solidified her model status by walking in her first Couture show for Chanel earlier this week, Kendall looked super fierce donning a leather gladiator-style green frock, stripping back the runway styling of the Masai-style collar and tights and just opting for the mesh Balmain booties.

The Great Kardashian Debate

The Great Kardashian Debate

Back in 2011 after a post on Kim Kardashian I received a flurry of emails and comments asking me to stop posting about the reality star.

I was only too happy to oblige in making this site a Kardashian-free zone – along with a Paris-Hilton-free zone, TOWIE-free and Real-Housewives-of-any-county-free zone and, most importantly, a Snooki-and-J-Wow-free zone.

However, after receiving yet another email from a reader? – who a friend jokingly suggested was Kanye West – asking me to reconsider my stance on the clan, especially Kim, I have to wonder if this is what you, the reader, really want.

While there has been a shift from Herve Leger to Givenchy and Lanvin, for me, it doesn’t change my opinion on Kim as a person, which for the record is not very favourable.

So, do you want to see Kim Kardashian on this site? Note, fansite votes are easily detected.

Rihanna In Balmain – ‘Rogue by Rihanna’ Paris Launch

Rihanna In Balmain - 'Rogue by Rihanna' Paris Launch

After baring almost all at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards, Rihanna was spotted at the ‘Rogue by Rihanna’ fragrance launch event at Sephora Champs-Élysées in Paris, France today (June 4).

The songstress, and newly crowned CFDA Fashion Icon, she trotted out a look that was significantly less rogue and wild—at least when it comes to her standards.

The current face of Balmain, it was only fitting that she dressed in one of designer Olivier Rousteing’s looks from the label’s Fall 2014 collection.

Touting a safari-chic edge, the slouchy, gray cargo pants were given an edgy boost via a hardware-embellished, crossover top.

The rest of her styling was kept rather simple, with a selection of rings and a cuff, tightly wound curls and soft, pretty makeup.
