Hilary Swank In Alexander McQueen & Balmain – ‘You’re Not You’ Tokyo Film Festival Press Conference & Premiere

Hilary Swank In Alexander McQueen & Balmain - 'You're Not You' Tokyo Film Festival Press Conference & Premiere

Hilary Swank continued to promote her latest movie, ‘You’re Not You’ during the Tokyo Film Festival on Friday (October 23).

Press Conference: The actress looked very prim and proper wearing a pretty lace knit dress from Alexander McQueen’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection.

Premiere: Things heated up for the premiere which saw the actress don a Balmain tuxedo dress styled with a Jimmy Choo ‘Box’ clutch and those Christian Louboutin ‘Pumpstagram’ pumps which haven’t worked on with any red carpet look. If I say the shoes are ugly and ruining the look am I being too harsh?

What I found interesting about this Tokyo trip is that Hilary outdid herself by serving up three totally different looks, but the Giambattista Valli Couture gown is the clear favourite.

Jessica Biel In Balmain & Valentino – 2015 GLSEN Respect Awards & 25th Annual EMA Awards

Jessica Biel In Balmain & Valentino - 2015 GLSEN Respect Awards & 25th Annual EMA Awards

Jessica Biel made two appearances on the red carpet this weekend, following her return to the red carpet last week.

2015 GLSEN Respect Awards: Sadly, I didn’t get this. I know Balmain is “hot” right now, but there is too much going on with this ruffled, layered and overly fussy Resort 2016 piece that I don’t believe that anyone could pull it off.

25th Annual EMA Awards: On Saturday (October 24) Jessica continued her black run wearing a Valentino Resort 2016 gown. Even though this is also quite detailed, the piece is not overwhelming her like the first. While she gets kudos points for the gown, her pink Fendi clutch feels too causal for this look.

Balmain x H&M Collection Launch Party

Balmain x H&M Collection Launch Party 1

The Balmain x H&M collection made its global runway debut in front of a celebrity-packed audience in New York City on Tuesday (October 20).

Kendall Jenner, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Diane Kruger, Gigi Hadid, Ellie Goulding, Jourdan Dunn, Alexa Chung, Coco Rocha and Kylie Jenner were among the guests to get an exclusive look at collection designed by Olivier Rousteing.

As you would expect, many of Olivier’s classic pieces have been created for this high-street collection. While the celebs stuck to a black and green colour palette, many of the runway looks incorporated colour and embellishments.

As this collection doesn’t appeal, I will not be standing in line when it goes on sale November 5, but I do like Kendall, Rosie’s, Jourdan’s and Alexa’s sexy, yet powerful looks.

See the runway show here.

Kate Hudson In Balmain - 'Rock The Kasbah' New York Premiere

Kate Hudson attended the ‘Rock The Kasbah’ New York premiere at AMC Loews Lincoln Square on Monday (October 19) in New York City.

Olivier Rousteing knows how to make a woman feel alluring and sexy and this Balmain Resort 2016 dress is the proof.

Dripping in gold metal, this absolutely dazzling piece ensured that all eyes were on Kate Hudson.

While the silhouette is nothing new for Kate, you can’t deny she’s rocking the hell out of this look.

Kendall Jenner’s Paris Fashion Week Style

Kendall Jenner Paris

Kendall Jenner has been taking Paris, France by storm over the last week or so, spotted out on no fewer than nine occasions during Paris Fashion Week with a wardrobe change in effect at every step of the way.

Look 1: Adding a touch of sartorial androgyny, the model took a structured approach in a Solace London ‘Kusama’ top paired with Elisabetta Franchi high-waisted trousers, Givenchy ‘Pandora’ wristlet, Dior ‘Technologic’ sunglasses, and Camilla and Marc ‘Honour’ flat loafers. I love the vibrancy of the cobalt blue.

Look 2: At a dinner at ‘Le Gabriel’ restaurant with Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing, she naturally was wearing Balmain in a lace-up jumpsuit with ruffled pant legs. I simply cannot make it past the see-through effect and visible panties, so the rest of the look falls victim to the transparency for me. The Givenchy ‘Pandora’ wristlet completed the look.

Look 3: While leaving Laperouse Restaurant, she donned a Balmain logo-print tank top with Balmain Spring 2016 high-waisted pants, which was a significantly more appropriate than her previous Balmain offering. Her favoured Givenchy ‘Pandora’ wristlet made another appearance showcasing its versatility yet again.
