Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kristen Wiig left everyone wondering the same thing at the 2012 SAG Awards: “A choker?!”

The ‘Bridesmaids’ actress paired her sensational Balenciaga halter gown with a chunky black rhinestone choker which her look didn’t need.

Without the distracting necklace, Kristen’s silk grey gown is one of the best looks we’ve seen on the ‘SNL’ star.

Unfortunately, we simply cannot get past her strange neckwear choice, but thankfully her Balenciaga clutch goes some way to allowing us to forgive her.

A severely side-parted bun and smoky eyes completed the look.

It’s taken some time, but Jessica Chastain finally hit her red carpet stride at the Producers Guild Awards.

Poured into a black glittery Balenciaga gown, Jessica completely took my breath away when she stepped on the red carpet.

I hope Jessica has said goodbye to those ill-fitting, aging looks of the past and is ready to fully embrace this bombshell image.

Red fingernails and gorgeous jade drop earrings add to the glam ensemble.

Of course, we were able to quickly identify the otherwise unrecognizable actress by her lack of clutch – but no complaints here!

Jessica Chastain was pretty in pink at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards which took place in L.A. this evening.

The actress wore a pale pink column Balenciaga dress with an oversized cowl-neck neckline.

This detail makes the dress appear too big for her. So as much as I love the colour against her porcelain skin, I’m not in love with the fit.

Statement earrings and clutch would have made this look much more memorable.

The look was completed with a severe bun and simple sapphire earrings.

Charlize Theron was spotted heading to Mr Chow’s for dinner on Tuesday night.

The actress was still wearing the same Balenciaga dress she wore for her guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’.

Her navy-and-white long-sleeve dress with a bow at the waist was paired with a black leather jacket.

Like Jennifer Aniston, Charlize has a stunning shoe collection. On this occasion she showcased a gorgeous pair of snakeskin crisscross Reed Krakoff ‘Boxer’ sandals.

On the Ellen show she kept her jewelry and makeup to a minimum, but she vamped things up for her night out by adding red nail polish, a dark red lip colour and gold bracelets.

Charlize completed her look with an Alexander McQueen black folk clutch which is available to purchase from AlexanderMcQueen.com.

Heidi Klum continued to promote her fragrance, ‘Shine’, with a launch event in Walgreens in Time Square, New York City, yesterday afternoon.

She wore a Balenciaga Fall 2011 dress.

Once again I have some styling issues with Heidi, because I’m not a fan of mixing the Christian Louboutin ‘Maggie’ animal-print pumps with the lizard-wrapped-in-vines print of her silk dress.

The prints are fighting for my attention. I don’t know where to look first.

If she wanted to make a statement with her shoes, I would’ve preferred her to wear the electric-blue YSL Palais pumps to complement the blue print on her dress.

The animal print clashes and was a bad choice in my opinion.

A leather belt and a simple updo completed her look.

Since we last saw Salma Hayek in YSL promoting her new movie ‘Puss In Boots’ in London, she has promoted the movie a further three times this weekend.

After London she hot footed it over to Rome for a photocall with co-star Antonio Banderas.

She wore a Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2011 printed dress with a black leather sash tied around the waist.

Black peep-toes and a necklace with a large sapphire stone completed her look.
