Michelle Williams In Louis Vuitton – New York Film Critics Circle Awards, BAFTA Tea Party & Golden Globe Awards

Michelle Williams has also been on the awards circuit, attending the New York Film Critics Circle Awards on January 3 followed by the BAFTA Tea Party in Los Angeles on January 7 and finally the 2017 Golden Globes at The Beverly Hilton on January 8.

New York Film Critics Circle: Simple yet statement-making, the ‘Manchester by the Sea’ actress’s Louis Vuitton black dress got a punch of personality by virtue of her metallic heels and platinum pixie cut.

BAFTA Tea Party: Again donning Louis Vuitton and showing her ambassadorial support of the French fashion house, she took minimalism to heart in this sweet baby-pink frock that was crying for an earring to top it off.

Golden Globe Awards: For the big awards night, the nominated actress donned an off-the-shoulder, layered lace gown for her third Louis Vuitton outing. Again playing to a modern minimalist look, jewels were all but replaced in favour of a velvet choker for this romantic entrance.

What did you make of her LV three-peat?

Brie Larson In Rodarte – 2017 Golden Globe Awards

When it came to picking my favourite gown of the night, I let my goosebumps do the talking.

The second I saw Brie Larson’s Rodarte Golden Globes gown the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.

Yes, this isn’t anything particularly new or innovative, especially considering it’s from Rodarte, but I’m a sucker for glamour and classic elegance – of which this look possesses plenty.

Kristen Bell In Jenny Packham – 2017 Golden Globe Awards

When someone switches up their red carpet style, it’s usually met with a rousing round of applause from me.

That was definitely the case when I saw Kristen Bell’s sultry side come out to play at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 8).

Jenny Packham expertly marries dark romance with high-octane glamour while creating this embellished gown.

Usually I am not a huge fan of square necklines, yet I love how it adds a modern twist on the classic tuxedo gown.

Kristen Wiig In Reem Acra – 2017 Golden Globe Awards

Kristen Wiig’s red carpet looks are usually met with a certain amount of appreciation from me, however, that wasn’t the case at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 8).

I don’t think this Reem Acra look did anything for her.

I’m not a fan of the colour of the lining or where it stops.

Overall, I think this look aged her.

Anna Kendrick In Vionnet – 2017 Golden Globe Awards

My first reaction when I saw Anna Kendrick in this grey Vionnet gown at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 8) was, “I wish this wasn’t grey”.

But then on reflection, even if this was any of her favoured blush tone hues or a striking violet, I am not sure it would make me love that ‘boob-in-a-sling’ bodice.

Did any of you love this look?

Angela Bassett In Christian Siriano – 2017 Golden Globe Awards

Angela Bassett was one of the many gorgeous gals who swept me off my feet on the night of the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.

Never afraid to go bold, the ‘American Horror Story’ actress wore a mouth-watering Christian Siriano watermelon hued gown featuring open-shoulders and a layered overlay cut to move with a graceful flutter.

The only thing I would change here is the white clutch. I would’ve loved mint-green here.
