Forget awards season, it feels like we’re in the middle of fragrance season as Kim Kardashian follows Beyonce Knowles in releasing a fragrance this week.

Kim – sans siblings – debuted her new signature scent at ‘Sephora’ in Florida last night.

Like Beyonce, Kim also wore a red dress to her launch but Kim’s was much more pleasing to the eye.

The reality TV star wore a red Azzedine Alaia flounce dress with a square neckline, which she paired with gold earrings, a stack of bangles and nude pumps.

Kim obviously wanted to look sexy on her big night.  The dress suits her figure and I love this red on her.

The flounce hem stops this dress from looking like another bandage dress, which we have grown long tired of seeing Kim wearing.

I don’t love the look, but I don’t hate it either.

OK…so the majority of you weren’t too crazy about Michelle Obama wearing Calvin Klein earlier this week, but OMG doesn’t she look like a goddess in Azzedine Alaia.

Talking about a goosebump moment.

At the Nobel Banquet in Oslo last night Michelle would have been the belle of the ball in her silvery blue gown.

I love everything about it.  The colour, the way it flatters her figure, and those dazzling earrings.

The First lady was all smiles on the balcony of the Grand Hotel after waving to the crowds who had gathered outside for the traditional torchlight procession.

It was here she wore an Alaia jacket with her gown which kinda ruins the look for me.

The dress is up for BDOTW however.

This is the Penelope Cruz I love.

Elegant, unstated, effortless and simply gorgeous.

She was by far my Best Dressed at this premiere looking angelic wearing a Ralph Lauren Spring 2010 vintage chambray georgette beaded gown.

For such a big occasion there may have been a temptation to over do the bling, but her Chopard diamonds complemented the sparkling details on her gown.

She completed her look with a Ralph Lauren lizard flower clutch.

Kate Hudson wore a stunning white Atelier Versace Fall 2009 strapless gown, with a beaded bodice and sculptural skirt, paired with silver heels.

This stunning creation should’ve been enough to be my best dressed, but I didn’t like her hair.

The hair is typical Kate Hudson.  It’s the same hair we see in candids out with her kids or her boyfriend A Rod.

I would have expected more in that department since she was wearing such an amazing gown.

Shout if you think it’s BDOTW worthy.

I expected Nicole Kidman to blow me away, but she didn’t.

I was so disappointed with her look and I really wish she opted for a stunning gown instead of this white Azzedine Alaia Spring 2010 ensemble.

Hopefully she will knock it out of the park for the following premiere’s.

Film Director Rebecca Miller arrived wearing the same Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2009 dress she wore to the “The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee” New York Screening.

Shingai Shoniwa of The Noisettes arrived with her bandmates Jamie Morrison and Dan Smith.

She left them in the shade wearing a David Koma Fall 2009 black dress with those distinctive tube details on the skirt.

I love that cropped red satin jacket she wore with her look.

Jasmine Guinness’ red velvet shawl and burgundy pumps through me off loving her Christian Dior Resort 2010 black gown with leopard print theme.

I like the red lips though.

Dame Judi Dench chose an understated lime green Betty Jackson full-length dress, which she paired with gold accessories.

Vivienne Westwood’s muse Tolula Adeyemi arrived wearing a sexy baby blue bustier gown, whilst carrying a Louis Vuitton clutch.

I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever for someone to wear something from the Prada Fall 2009 collection, since Eva Mendes wore a look from the collection back in March.

Jessica Alba has fulfilled that wish by wearing a red velvet floral dress, but what the lord gives with one hand he takes away with the other and those thick black opaques kinda dull the excitement.

Nicole Kidman has been M.I.A. on the red carpet for a long while.

She returned in her favourite designer wearing a black fitted L’Wren Scott lacquered tweed dress with red peep-toes.

At this point I’m just grateful that the dress is not white.

Remember that rather crazy phase?

The Stella McCartney Resort 2010 collection keeps going strong.

This time Naomi Watts wears a black cropped jacket from said collection with a white shirt and black pants.

Georgina Chapman has been accused by many of you for not shaking things up.

Well this is the 3rd time she has worn something not directly off her runway, which will hopefully please you non-believers.

I think her dress was modified from the purple strapless Marchesa Resort 2010 dress, as it has a very similar shape.

The pops of fuschia pink are cute and sassy.

Stunning as always.

I’ve run out of nice things to say about her.

CEO of PepsiCo, Indra Nooyi hosted the event looking gorgeous wearing a Giambattista Valli Fall 2009 peacock print coat/dress.

Why celebrities haven’t worn anything from this stunning collection still baffles me.

Uber models Naomi Campbell and Iman struck a pose together.

Naomi wore an angelic white Azzedine Alaïa dress and Azzedine Alaia python & patent strappy heels, whilst Iman opted for more colour wearing a mustard pencil dress which shows that she’s still got it.

Actress Zoe Saldana was the first to wear this full-skirted grey Azzedine Alaia dress to the “Star Trek” London premiere at the Empire Leicester Square.

This sparkly dress was the perfect for choice for Zoe as it made her stand out on the red carpet.

She accessorized her dress with long dangling earrings, a bold cuff, and Azzedine Alaia lace-up booties.

Model Doutzen Kroes must have loved the look so much because duplicated the look from head-to-booties for the “Looking for Eric” during Cannes Film Festival.

Unfortunately for Doutzen the dress makes her appear wider than she is, whereas it delicately skims Zoe’s hips.

Zoe totally owned this look, so she wins for me.

I have been dying to post this comparison for weeks, but I wanted to find out who the designer first. Whilst browsing trying not spend money in Harvey Nichols this week, I found that this stunning sheer gown is by Azzedine Alaïa.

Stephanie Seymour first wore this Azzedine Alaïa gown to the Costume Institute Gala back in May, with a small black velvet clutch, and a stunning pair of drop earrings.

Naomi Campbell, who is a Alaïa devotee, wore the same dress to Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday dinner in London last month.

I loved this dress the moment I saw it on Naomi. Stephanie’s gold nipple covers ruin the look for me, so Naomi wins.
