Taylor Swift In Monique Lhuillier & Reem Acra – 2010 CMA Awards

I found myself swooning over Taylor Swift at the 2010 CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee last night.

Despite the lack of sequins (which I personally love) she still shone brightly wearing a Monique Lhuillier red strapless gown.

The draped custom gown had a sexy thigh-high split and gathered on the waist.

She completed her look with a chic updo, Neil Lane jewels and nude Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals.

This was an amazing look. I love how she’s maturing on the red carpet so elegantly.

Carrie Underwood In Talbot Runhof – 2010 CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood was the host of 2010 CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee last night.

I absolutely adored her extravagant Talbot Runhof Fall 2010 gown.

I think this gown won’t be that popular with many people because the tulle layered rosette detailed gown is very different from what we’ve seen Carrie wear in the past.

It’s very dark, mysterious and dramatic and Carrie usually does embellished, frothy and cute.

She accessorized her look with a Swarovski crystal clutch.

Gwyneth Paltrow In Atelier Versace & Lanvin – 2010 CMA Awards

I almost had heart failure when I saw Gwyneth Paltrow in this Atelier Versace Fall 2010 as she arrived at the 2010 CMA Awards in Nashville last night.

What a perfect vision of perfection.

Who knew her Atelier Versace one shoulder beaded ombre gown had a sexy thigh-high split and a cut-out detail on the side.

Jennifer Lopez is kicking herself that she didn’t get to wear this dress first.

Gwynie worked the hell out of this gown. It the power and allure of Versace.

I feel so proud of her because I didn’t know she had this in her.

Christian Louboutin satin peep toes and her straight blonde locks sweeping to one side completes this look.

Definitely in contention for BDOTW and for my BDOTY list.

Katherine Heigl In Farah Angsana – 2010 CMA Awards

My first reaction to seeing Katherine Heigl on the red carpet at the 2010 CMA Awards last night was, thank god she’s returned to being blonde.

This year she’s changed her hair colour for movies on several occasions, and I’m sure many of you will agree that blonde works best for her.

She glided down the red carpet wearing a breath-taking Farah Angsana Fall 2010 gown.

The vivid navy blue strapless gown has beautiful simple details like the pleating at the bust and a train which fans out from the thigh.

I’m not crazy about the necklace, but I love the earrings.

Jimmy Choo ‘Jigsaw’ platform sandals and a matching sparkling Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch completes her look.

Leighton Meester In Emilio Pucci – 2010 CMA Awards

Following her appearance at the “Country Strong” Nashville Premiere, Leighton was still in town for the 2010 CMA Awards last night.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress is on a very hot streak.

I simply adore her in this Emilio Pucci tropical print dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

A dress like this should maybe only work on a the banks of the French Riviera, but Leighton makes this rise and fall dress work with such confidence.

Her dress is gorgeous, but her Jimmy Choo ‘Ciara’ platform heels are amazing.

I’m sure Miss Ciara will be envious she didn’t get her hands on her namesake heels first.

Nicole Kidman In Dolce & Gabbana – 2010 CMA Awards

The 2010 CMA Awards took place last night in the home of country music Nashville, Tennessee.

Nicole Kidman has been skipping a few red carpets this year, but she arrived at this event with hubby Keith Urban.

She wore a Dolce & Gabbana white long sleeve lace dress, which she paired with a gorgeous pair of red L’Wren Scott heels.

I really appreciated the bright pop of colour via her heels, yet I’m still not excited about this look.

I wish she’d worn one of the white lace embellished dresses from the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 collection.
