Karlie Kloss In Atelier Versace - ‘La Tete Haute’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Karlie Kloss attended the opening ceremony and premiere of ‘La Tete Haute’ (‘Standing Tall’) during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 13) in Cannes, France.

As we know, red carpet dressing isn’t her forte, but on this occasion she stunned wearing an Atelier Versace Fall 2014 one-pant jumpsuit, finally bringing that runway charisma to the red carpet.

For once I can say she totally nailed her look, oozing modernity and sex appeal – which is world away from her granny-chic look from last year.

Models @ The 2015 Met Gala

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

The models also had their moment at the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4), some strutting to the beat of the theme better than others.

Karen Elson: One of the most extravagantly attired models, Karen truly embraced the ‘costume’ in the Costume Institute Benefit Gala in her Dolce & Gabbana ballgown spectacle featuring an ornately embellished and gilded bodice with matching cuffs, and an explosion of red tulle. Her elaborate gold headpiece also gave Sarah Jessica Parker’s own topper a bit of crown competition. This was the Chinese princess moment of the night.

Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace – 2015 Met Gala

"China: Through The Looking Glass" Costume Institute Benefit Gala - Arrivals

Uma Thurman attended the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala, hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

Her Atelier Versace asymmetrical white v-neck gown, an interpretation of a classic Chinese Hanfu with its wrapped tie waist and robe sleeve, provided an understated yet still effective nod towards the evening’s theme.

Sophisticated and seductive, the sleek dress was all the more admirable in that it portrayed not the hint of try-hard.

Jade green tassel earrings provided another subtle ode to China with glossy Alexandre Birman sandals completing the look.

Jennifer Lopez In Atelier Versace – 2015 Met Gala

Jennifer Lopez In Atelier Versace - 2015 Met Gala

Jennifer Lopez attended the ‘China: Through the Looking Glass’ 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).

The overtly sexy, hyper-embellished, sheer-effect Atelier Versace one-shoulder gown is 100 percent J. Lo’s style.

That said, it is also perfectly on theme with the guise of a fire-breathing dragon twisting around her torso and the hot-crimson beaded flames that encircle the dress.

I happened to love the ombre effect seen in the tulle skirting for its depth and richness of form.

A Swarovski red crystal power clutch and red-toned shadowing around her eyes finished the look.

Jennifer Lopez In Zuhair Murad & Atelier Versace – 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez In Zuhair Murad & Atelier Versace - 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez was at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards at Bank United Center on Thursday (April 30) in Miami, Florida, where she took to the ‘white’ carpet before her performance on stage.

Red Carpet: While she wasn’t wearing a beaded mini, there is no doubt that this Zuhair Murad white lace full bodysuit was a signature J. Lo look with a tinge of Beyonce influence. Worn with a silk crepe and satin cape and white Brian Atwood ‘Megan’ clutch, the look possesses an interesting fusion of seduction, innocence, and sophistication, or perhaps I’m just feeling overly grateful that it wasn’t a minidress.
