Best Dressed Of The Week - Lupita Nyong'o In Prada, Kate Hudson In Atelier Versace & Pink In Elie Saab Couture

With so many great looks to hit the red carpet last week you had trouble picking a clear favourite, so the honour was shared between the fairytale Prada gown worn by Lupita Nyong’o and Kate Hudson’s caped creation from Atelier Versace.

I still have goosebumps from Pink’s Elie Saab Couture red embellished gown. Even though I had this on my wish list for Jessica Chastain, the singer looked outstanding in her Oscar performance look.

Lady Gaga In Atelier Versace - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Lady Gaga attended at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California following her appearance at the main event.

Once again she wore a custom-made Atelier Versace gown.

The white strapless gown with a woven bodice of sheer panelling, emphasised with Swarovski crystal straps and a fully embroidered skirt with train isn’t my favourite.

I prefer the first gown, although this is glitzy enough for a party.

Anna Kendrick In Atelier Versace - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Anna Kendrick attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California following the main event.

It’s not often, if at all, I put the words Anna Kendrick and sexy in the same sentence, however, Versace and sexy go hand-and-hand.

The actress wore a fitted black gown with plunging neckline and a fully beaded skirt with nude underlay from the Atelier Versace Spring 2014 collection.

Admittedly, I would never have picked this gown for Anna – Gisele Bundchen, Sofia Vergara or Halle Berry would have been my first choices – however, she looks outstanding.

A small black clutch and side swept tresses completed her sexy and sensual look.

I think she totally nailed it. Do you agree?

Lady Gaga In Atelier Versace Couture - Oscars 2014

Lady Gaga was in typically grand form, as she paraded down the Oscars 2014 red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on Sunday (March 2).

As the current face of Versace, it came as no surprise that she was posing theatrically in the label. The showy metallic, curve-enhancing column gown, traced in glinting silver Art Deco embellishment, hailed from the Atelier Versace Spring 2014 Couture collection and came draped with a dramatic lavender sash.

Yet, this glittering glamazon dress was still a more normalized look for Mother Monster, who traded in her standard otherworldly styling for a more classic approach. She even skipped the Donatella extensions for a sleek, platinum-blonde updo and pretty lilac eye shadow.

Oscar had nothing on Mother Monster, who could have been her own prize statuette, with her enormously high stilts—custom Brian Atwood platforms—acting as the trophy stand.

Aside from the ridiculous shoes, this is Gaga-gorgeous—her version of diva dressing at its finest.

Kate Hudson absolutely shut it down at the 2014 Oscars in Los Angeles tonight (March 2).

Wow wow wow. The ‘Wish I Was Here’ actress, who is presenting this evening, was pure perfection in an Atelier Versace Spring 2014 gown and Jimmy Choo ‘Vibe’ Sandal. Best dressed nominee hands down.

Where to begin on all the amazing things happening with this dress? The train, the woven detailing on the waist, the beading and the deep plunge are all right on point. But it’s the shoulder pads and cape detail that make it pure magic.

With so much drama in the dress, she limited herself to a few delicate pieces of diamond jewelry and an art deco-inspired clutch.

The look oozed old school glamour without looking old fashioned. I’ll be shocked if this isn’t on every best-dressed list.
