Best Dressed Of The Week – Kate Hudson In Atelier Versace

It was always going to be a two clotheshorse race this week with both Kasia Smutniak and Kate Hudson blowing us away in Valentino and Atelier Versace, respectively, during the 2012 Venice Film Festival.

Kate eventually won, looking breathtaking and BDOTY-worthy in her nude Swarovski embellished gown styled with an Edie Parker clutch.

The Venice Film Festival many not be on the same large scale as Cannes, but we can always rely on Venice to give us at least one Atelier Versace major magic hall of fame moment.

Isabella Ferrari In Atelier Versace – ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

Isabella Ferrari, who is serving as one of the jury members for the 2012 Venice Film Festival, attended the ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ premiere, which also hosted the Opening Ceremony.

The Italian actress also donned an Atelier Versace Spring 2012 dress.

Her steel-grey bustier-style dress with gold inserts and an elegant lace overlay is slightly modified from the look which took to the runway with a bodysuit underlay.

I think this modification was the right choice for her. Save the bodysuit version for the likes of Lea Michele.

A braided updo, triple-stacked glitter peep-toes and a selection of silver jewels including long diamond earrings completed her look.

Kate Hudson In Atelier Versace – ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

To say that Kate Hudson was radiant on the red carpet this evening for the Venice Film Festival premiere for ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’, which also served as the opening ceremony, is the understatement of the century.

The actress wore a stunning Atelier Versace gown from the Fall 2012 collection.

I knew Kate would go for Versace, because Versace gowns have served her so well in the past, and what better way for a look from this collection to make its debut than at a European Film Festival?

Her nude Swarovski-crystal-embellished asymmetrical gown is giving her a breathtaking silhouette.

I love the chic wavy updo, the pearlescent Edie Parker clutch, Versace heels and the dazzling Fabergé jewels.

We all knew she would deliver, but she has exceeded my expectations. Does she exceed yours?

Kasia Smutniak now has a serious contender for BDOTW.

Lea Michele In Atelier Versace – 2012 Teen Choice Awards

Lea Michele hit the pink carpet in Universal City, California, on Sunday night for the 2012 Teen Choice Awards.

The ‘Glee’ star donned one of the night’s sexiest looks, wearing a strapless silver Atelier Versace Spring 2012 textured mini dress with gold metallic peplum details.

Exaggerated detailing along the hips accentuate Lea’s petite figure.

Her silver Versace pumps, however, feel a bit too heavy for the feminine dress. Strappy sandals would have been much preferred.

Sun-kissed ombre waves and a fresh-faced glow add a youthful touch.

Love, loathe or too much for the Teen Choice Awards?

Christina Hendricks In Atelier Versace – Atelier Versace Fall 2012 Fashion Show

Christina Hendricks made the trip overseas to attend the Atelier Versace Fall 2012 presentation, held at the Ritz-Carlton in Paris, France, on Sunday evening.

She was the surprise guest considering she hasn’t worn Versace on the red carpet before, but that changed as she donned an Atelier Versace Spring 2012 mini dress for this occasion.

The ‘Mad Men’ actress wore a black blazer over her custom-made laser-cut gold leather dress with gold beading and gold metallic inserts.

Christina styled her ensemble with a metallic gold rectangle clutch and metallic silver strappy sandals.

I can’t say I like the look, mixing of metals aside.

Christina doesn’t look comfortable and the blazer takes away the sexiness, which is ironic considering Versace is all about being sexy.

I’m also not a fan of the hair and makeup. It’s a no all-round for me.

Lucy Liu In Atelier Versace – 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards

Lucy Liu won the Best Guest Performer in a Drama Series, much to her surprise, at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards held in Beverly Hills on Monday.

It seems as though the ‘Southland’ star searched for the girliest gown available for the ceremony – and she succeeded.

Dressed in the Atelier Versace Spring 2011 gown this light pink gown is red carpet perfection personified. I love the delicate lace and the pretty ruffles.

Keeping with the ultra feminine theme, Lucy swept her hair into a loose chignon, adding only a copper Roger Vivier ‘Boite de Nuit’ clutch and delicate earrings as accessories.
