Fan Bingbing In Atelier Versace – 2017 Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Fan Bingbing joined fellow juror Jessica Chastain for the closing ceremony of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 28).

Her final look comes courtesy of Atelier Versace’s Spring 2017 collection.

Simply breath-taking and possesses plenty of charm and grace, I’m confident this is the wow moment many have been waiting for – it certainly swept me off my feet.

I love how she closed with something modern and yet true to her style.

After starting the festival with a bob, Veronica Lake waves and a collection of De Beers jewels rounded out this inch perfect final look.

Cannes Film Festival Day 7 Red Carpet Roundup

Day 7 of the Cannes Film Festival brought with it some stunning entrances as part of the 70th anniversary celebration. Here are more looks that took to the red carpet on Tuesday (May 23)

Irina Shayk: The model wasn’t at the 70th screening but she was at the ‘Hikari (Radiance)’ premiere, where it would seem to have taken the title of the film into account in her lemon-bright Atelier Versace custom gown styled with Lorraine Schwartz canary yellow diamonds to match. The dress was not only sheer Versace with its ruched, slit seductiveness, it was also sheer through and through although its lemony hue somewhat distracted from the see-through effect.

Bianca Balti: For the 70th anniversary screening, Bianca opted for a Dolce and Gabbana Alta Moda embroidered gown styled with DeGrisogono statement earrings. With a faint kimono-esque style, the dress held a sense of restrained elegance—although I did find the embellished heels to be unnecessary to complete the picture.

Naomi Campbell In Atelier Versace – Cannes Film Festival 70th Anniversary Celebration

When it comes to Atelier Versace, no one serves it better than Naomi Campbell.

The model was in supercharged mode as she made her way down the red carpet for the 70th anniversary Cannes Film Festival celebration this evening (May 23) wearing a Spring 2017 creation.

While the drama of the feather hemline is for all the world to see, what isn’t so easily picked up is the intricate Swarovski beading throughout the gown.

Cannes Fashion For Relief

The Fashion for Relief gala and runway show event was held during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 21), with attendees turning up the volume on their own fashion statements for the evening.

Naomi Campbell: Before gracing the runway at the event, the supermodel stunned in an Atelier Versace Spring 2017 gown with Santoni sandals and Bulgari jewels. The slithery, slit-to-there was Naomi’s version of a Grecian goddess look; I loved the movement of the diaphanous skirt and the shimmer of the knotted overlay that infused the look with an intriguing edge.

Uma Thurman: After her questionable last look, Uma redeemed herself a bit in this Atelier Versace embellished number styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. However, am I alone in thinking the dress felt a bit dated?

Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan
: I have a feeling that this Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci dress was far more beautifully perceived in person with its tonal embroidery and lace underskirt. Its pristine-white polish is what kept me most interested.

Lewis Hamilton
: The British race car driver didn’t leave his sporty edge at home, bringing it to Cannes with this Gucci ‘Bee’ bomber jacket.

Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

As jury president for Un Certain Regard, Uma Thurman was also at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts (Les Fantomes d’Ismael)’ on Wednesday (May 17).

With a flourish of subtle yet impactful sophistication, she wore an Atelier Versace Fall 2016 gown styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Blakissima’ sandals.

The removal of the original set of ruffles down the front provided a sleeker, streamlined approach that suited Uma’s style and the occasion.

What remained of the beautifully sculpted folds and layers is what make this soft-pink design so enthralling, with diamonds playing the role of this elegant gown’s best friend.
