Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Celine Dion In Atelier Versace & Madonna - 2013 Billboard Awards

Neither Celine Dion nor Madonna took to the red carpet for the 2013 Billboard Awards; however, both were spotted in the press room following their presenting duties.

Celine Dion: The 45-year-old legendary singer surprised me by wearing a knee-length Atelier Versace Spring 2013 dress. Usually she either wears mini dresses or gowns. It’s rare to see her wearing something in between. Her gold lamé fitted dress with gold metallic inserts was styled with metallic-gold pumps and a gold necklace. I am not a fan of the colour or this length on Celine.

Madonna: While we should be surprised to see a 54-year-old woman wearing a fishnet dress over stockings and suspenders, this is Madonna and the ability for her to shock us ended a long time ago. The rest of her Givenchy custom-made Couture look consisted of a texturized, cropped, and fur-collared bomber jacket and a grommet-embellished wide belt. The most I can say about this get up is: at least she has the figure to wear it.

Selena Gomez In Atelier Versace - 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Selena Gomez turned up the volume of the 2013 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada before the performances even started.

After taking a break from Atelier Versace, which she flaunted a good many times earlier this year, the singer-actress went back to the rock-star design house tonight, donning a look from the Spring 2013 collection.

The slit-to-there white gown, ripped through with peek-a-boo illusion paneling, had sexiness in spades. (Perhaps she had a certain Billboard boy—cough, Justin Bieber, cough—in mind.)

But it also packed some fun into its sexy appeal, as it was edged in neon piping that reminded me of glow sticks—couture ones, of course.

Metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Malin’ sandals didn’t bring the same colourful punch as the runway shoe. But, similar to the catwalk model, Selena flaunted smouldering, sooty eyes, which put a darker spin on this Rainbow Brite look and contrasted with her more juvenile bubblegum-pink lippie and messy, long ponytail.

Selena has lately been showing us her all-grown-up sartorial side. Do you like her va-va-voom return to Versace?

Jana Fonda In Atelier Versace - 'Jimmy P (Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian)' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Jane Fonda showed the kids how it’s done by oozing glamour with a touch of sexy appeal whilst gliding down the red carpet at the Grand Théâtre Lumière in France for the ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian)’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening.

The 75-year-old actress looked absolutely divine in Atelier Versace, leaving me saying “Eva who?”

Her custom bright turquoise silk gown with cut-out detail and Swarovski crystal detailing is one of her finest Cannes looks to date.

Styled with a chic updo, Versace clutch, Chopard jewels and Jimmy Choo peep-toes, she most definitely deserves a place on the BDOTD list.

Eva Longoria In Atelier Versace - 'Jimmy P (Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian)' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Many of you thought Eva Longoria’s last gown was very predictable with the long sweeping train and heavy embellishments, so she decided to do something different for the ‘Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian)’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening – possibly due to the heavy rain.

The actress selected a turquoise Atelier Versace Fall 2012 gown featuring an open back, side slit, cold shoulders and a corseted belt.

While this is a nice enough dress, it’s lacking in the usual wow factor I get from Eva during Cannes.

My first reaction was, “Oh, something different, next”.

Bring back the drama Eva.

Chopard jewels and Brian Atwood nude sandals provided the finishing touches to her look.

Doutzen Kroes In Atelier Versace - ‘Le Passe’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Doutzen Kroes looked breathtaking on the red carpet this evening for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Le Passe’ held at Palais des Festivals in France.

The Cannes regular and L’Oreal ambassador wore a gorgeous Atelier Versace Fall 2012 gown.

My first reaction to this was, thank god she didn’t pull from the Spring 2013 collection.

In typical Versace fashion, her ultra sexy gown featured a side slit and revealing cut-out detail.

Sultry just-got-out-of-bed tresses, barely there makeup and Versace blush coloured platform sandals completed her look.

Elizabeth Banks In Atelier Versace - 2013 Met Gala

With Elizabeth Banks confirmed to wear Brian Atwood footwear, there was no chance of her wearing a gown to the 2013 Met Gala, which was held in New York City on Monday evening.

The ‘Hunger Games’ actress donned a gold Atelier Versace gold chainmail jacket from the Spring 2013 collection, which hits all the right fashion notes for the theme of this event.

With black piping on her frock, the look was perfectly accessorized with a gold studded black Atwood minaudiére, and sexy Brian Atwood leather fringed ‘Elizabeth’ sandals with gold metal studs.

Gold jewels, an updo and cat-eyes completed her stylish uber sexy look.
