Miley Cyrus In Ashish – SXSW Film-Interactive-Music

Miley Cyrus In Ashish - SXSW Film-Interactive-Music

Miley Cyrus made a surprise appearance at The Fader Fort, presented by Converse, during the SXSW Film-Interactive-Music festival on Thursday (March 19) in Austin, Texas.

The songstress, who joined collaborator Mike WiLL, couldn’t be missed in an Ashish Fall 2015 ensemble that was perfectly in keeping with the rapper spirit of the event.

The heavily sequined, camouflage mini-dress and matching, oversized denim jacket ran no risk of blending into the crowd.

The lace detailing and mega-short frock brought the sexy edge to which we are accustomed in a Miley look, with the choker necklaces, shades, and sneaks all heightening the urban-street appeal.

I’m actually shocked that I am fully accepting of this loud look. Used in the context of the event, it actually provides a good dose of attitude—and she rocks it to her full advantage.

Lily Allen In Ashish & Marios Schwab – Sushisamba Second Anniversary

Lily Allen In Ashish & Marios Schwab - Sushisamba Second Anniversary

Lily Allen performed at Sushisamba in London on Tuesday (November 11) to celebrate the restaurant’s second anniversary, where she donned two looks.

Performance: Ashish seems to be Lily’s go-to designer for onstage looks. No doubt the shimmer and sparkle, plus the street-urban overtones, continue to be the big appeal. On this occasion she selected a white layered organza crop top and Ashish sequinned embellished track pants from the Fall 2014 collection, which she amped up with purple satin pumps.

Party: For the party the singer changed into a black Marios Schwab Spring 2015 strapless mini dress with buckle detailing and flowing nude chiffon draped panels, which I loved on the runway, but not so much on Lily. It does nothing for her. I would prefer to see this on someone really leggy like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley or Anne Hathaway, and the necklaces are overkill.

Lily Allen In Ashish & House of Holland – Terminal 5

Lily Allen In Ashish & House of Holland - Terminal 5

Lily Allen performed at Terminal 5 on Tuesday (September 23) in New York City.

The singer wore some eye-popping pieces – which came in three parts – helping her light up the stage during her performance.

You may feel like her ‘Lily’ pink sequin- and pearl-accented sweater is familiar; that’s because she wore a similar Ashish Fall 2014 sweater with a ‘USA’ motif earlier this year.

The rest of her look had even more of a quirk to it, with a baby-bottle sequin House of Holland skirt with a pink tulle hemline paired and an embellished House of Holland crop top.

While this kooky outfit has Christmas party written all over it, it, like Lily, has plenty of personality, plus it’s eye-catching enough that she would’ve been spotted by those in the cheap seats.

Lily Allen In Ashish – ‘Bangerz Tour’

Lily Allen In Ashish - 'Bangerz Tour'

Lily Allen performed at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday (August 2) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was the support act for Miley Cyrus on the singer’s ‘Bangerz Tour’.

The singer-songwriter opted for a look as colourful as her hair, donning a multi-coloured rainbow-bright Ashish Fall 2014 embroidered sequinned top with jewel trim consisting of half-pearls, gold and silver sequins, silver beads and round-cut crystals, plus the top features a ‘USA’ pearl-accented slogan to appease the crowd.

Styled with a shimmering aqua mini skirt and platform booties, this performance look had plenty of personality. I just love the 80s throwback vibe.
