Eva Riccobono In Armani Privé - 2013 Venice Film Festival Closing Ceremony

The curtain came down on the 70th annual Venice Film Festival this evening with the closing ceremony held at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy.

Eva Riccobono took one last twirl on the red carpet wearing another Armani Prive Fall 2013 gown; her third of the festival.

On this occasion she selected a black lace gown with an illusion yoke to give the appearance of a strapless gown.

Once again I have a few nit-picks.

The gown is decorated with crystal detailing on the illusion panel so I don’t feel like the serpent necklace was needed.

Also my first reaction was to eye-roll the same hair and makeup she has championed throughout this entire festival. This look needed a lovely updo or a wavy faux bob to perfect the look especially since she insisted on wearing that necklace.

Maria Bello In Salvatore Ferragamo - 'Prisoners' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Maria Bello attended the ‘Prisoners’ Toronto Film Festival premiere yesterday evening held at The Elgin in Toronto, Canada.

The actress wore a Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2013 navy knit long sleeve turtle neck and a navy satin skirt styled with navy ankle strap pumps and a diamond encrusted cuff worn over her top.

Her part cosy, part sexy look has made me realize that when it comes to TIFF, there doesn’t appear to be a defined dress code like Venice or Cannes for example.

A few years ago it was considered quite a laidback event, but I find myself enjoying the variety of looks ranging from Nicole Kidman’s chic suit to Sarah Paulson’s Couture gown; as it takes the predictability out of the event.

Anna Mouglalis In Chanel - 'La Jalousie' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Venice Film Festival is still running, even though TIFF kick-started last night.

Anna Mouglalis attended ‘La Jalousie’ premiere held at the Sala Grande in Venice, Italy yesterday evening.

The Chanel ambassadress had the honour of Uncle Karl creating a Chanel Couture pale-pink lace gown especially for the French actress.

Her delicate cold-shoulder dress with a tiered skirt is so very beautiful as is that gold web-like fine necklace; however, I wish the black Chanel quilted clutch and black Chanel peep-toes had been replaced with something that felt a lot less heavy.

She had me until I spied the accessories, as both her hair and makeup couldn’t be more complementary to this look.

Rebecca Hall In Prabal Gurung - 'Une Promesse' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Rebecca Hall attended the ‘Une Promesse’ Venice Film Festival premiere held at Sala Darsena in Venice, Italy yesterday evening.

The British actress looked head-to-toe perfect, selecting a chic navy-and-black illusion racer back Prabal Gurung Resort 2014 gown with cut-outs at the shoulders and faux pockets at the hips.

A simple chignon fixed at the nape of her neck and barely there makeup allowed her true beauty to shine through, with dazzling earrings from De Beers’ Arpeggia collection and a dark-grey gold-trimmed clutch completing her look.

Rebecca Hall In Christopher Kane - 'Une Promesse' Venice Film Festival Photocall

Rebecca Hall attended the photocall of ‘Une Promesse’ during the 2013 Venice Film Festival at Palazzo del Casino in Venice, Italy earlier today.

The British actress wore a Christopher Kane Resort 2014 sleeveless yellow-and-black swirling digital print dress with yellow buttons accenting the placket and the skirt.

Unlike Catalina Sandino Moreno, who’s photocall look consisted of high heels and plenty of boobage, Rebecca’s more laidback approach may sit more favourably with most of you, that is of course until you get to her gold sandals with a white platform.

Joanne Froggatt In Topshop & Camilla and Marc - Venice Film Festival

Joanne Froggatt has been promoting her new movie, ‘Still Life’, during the 2013 Venice Film Festival this week.

Photocall: She kick-started yesterday morning wearing a bright-red Topshop mini dress with a fit-and-flare silhouette, which she accented with a black waistband and Christian Louboutin pumps. I love the fact that a high-street brand has graced the red carpet at such a prestigious occasion. The vivid dress is as brilliant as her smile.

Premiere: For the premiere she kept things low-key, yet event appropriate for a daytime premiere, wearing a Camilla and Marc Resort 2014 light-pink frock with an asymmetrical skirt styled with a patent-leather nude Christian Louboutin clutch and matching pumps. Is this look too blush for you? I would only ditch the clutch here.

Portrait session: My favourite look of the trio was the Topshop look she wore today to the portrait session. Her uber-girlie high-street look featuring a sleeveless blouse and floral-embroidered skater skirt (which we’ve seen in yellow on Katherine Jenkins) may be too sugary for some, but I love everything about it right down to her nude Louboutins.
