2018 SAG Awards Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Many of the fellows at the 2018 SAG Awards weren’t content to just wear the standard black tux, making for quite the scene-stealing list of looks on Sunday (January 21) in LA.

Noah Schnapp: The young ‘Stranger Things’ star continued to win my affection with a lesson in all that is dapper in his custom-made velvet tuxedo by Stella McCartney paired with Jésù-SégunLondon slipper-style shoes, a Brackish bowtie, and Mrs Bow Tie pocket square. What a charmer.

Sterling K. Brown:
The ‘This Is Us’ star won the best actor award, and his look was equally stellar in this Giorgio Armani tuxedo styled with a Chopard timepiece and cufflinks. This was a lesson in the appeal of classic style with a modern twist thanks to the shades and the slim-line, slightly cropped proportions.

Dacre Montgomery:
I liked this Giorgio Armani ensemble for its unorthodox twist on the traditional tux in the chocolate-brown hue and exaggerated shawl label. Wearing his dress shirt unbuttoned at the top added a rebellious flavour that actually echoed his ‘Stranger Things’ character quite well. Montblanc cufflinks completed the look.

Kate Bosworth In Antonio Marras – HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards

Every time Kate Bosworth has stepped out recently, I have been dazzled by how she experiments with different styles, but still presents a cool, effortless mix.

She did not let me down at the HFPA and Instyle Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards event on Wednesday (November 15) in West Hollywood, California, where she joined Nina Dobrev.

‘The Long Road Home’ actress wore an Antonio Marras Spring 2018 dress. The ankle-length style had a sweet vintage feel courtesy of the gathered sleeves and beaded neckline.

What struck me was how the frock played with texture with the appliqués strewn across the translucent base. The gathers down the front added even more dimension, as did her velvet accessories.

Kate Bosworth In Antonio Marras – The Today Show

As Kate Bosworth continues down the promo circuit for the ‘Long Road Home,’ she stopped by ‘The Today Show’ on Wednesday (November 8) in New York City.

There would be no waiting for balmier, spring temperatures, as she introduced a look from the Antonio Marras Spring 2018 collection.

However, the scarf-print dress did receive the winterized treatment with her plush jacket and buckle-embellished handbag and shoes, which lent a vintage-ladylike sensibility.

Was it enough to bring the wispy frock into the fall season for you?

Jenna Dewan Tatum lunches at Joan’s on Third in Antonio Marras

Jenna Dewan Tatum was recently seen leaving a lunch at Joan’s on Third in LA on Tuesday (August 1).

There would be nothing traditional about the ‘World of Dance’ host’s off-duty frock, as she turned ladylike-lunch attire on its head in this Antonio Marras Resort 2018 design.

I love how the dress took its girly, sweetheart silhouette and heightened the edgy, unconventional appeal with a bright concoction of clashing colours manifested in macramé textures and figure-flattering black accents.

When styled with sleek stilettos and a watermelon-red lip, the look was sassy, sophisticated, and style-forward—all at the same time.

I don’t know about you, but this is what I want to lunch in any day of the week.

Lyndsy Fonseca In Antonio Marras – 14th Annual Global Green Pre Oscar Party

Lyndsy Fonseca, known for her human rights and animal rights advocacy, turned her attention to the planet at the 14th Annual Global Green Pre-Oscar gala on Wednesday (February 22) in LA.

Seafoam-green was the actress’s colour of the evening with an Antonio Marras Fall 2014 frock that had an edge of mystique with the darker wolf-and-moon motif that was present throughout the designer’s collection.

The styling of the dress, including the pop of a metallic sandal and a simple earring along with her sleek-straight locks, contributed a lovely, feminine finish that wasn’t as forthright in the original presentation.
