Red Carpet Fashion Awards

God I love this look.

Eva Mendes looks to have finally shaken off that ‘ladies who lunch’ look she was going for and bringing back the sexy diva.

At the “Last Night” Premiere during the 2010 Toronto Film Festival the actress looked outstanding wearing an Andrew Gn Fall 2010 luxe velvety dress with a jewel accent on the hip.

In nearly all the photos she’s giving us face and booty which tells me she know she looks good in this dress.

Had you told me Eva was wearing a long sleeved black dress on the red carpet I would’ve rolled my eyes, but she’s totally working this look.

Here are the rest of the looks from the “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse LA Premiere”.

Bryce Dallas Howard was one of the few to opt for a summery look.

She looked divine wearing a Christian Dior lemon gown with a Bulgari necklace.

Catalina Sandino Moreno opted for a Andrew GN Fall 2010 long-sleeve gunmetal grey long sleeved look.

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2010 dress may be lined, but it still the same dress we’ve seen on Blake Lively, Beyonce Knowles, Danielle Lineker and Eva Herzigova.

This dress needs to go into retirement.

Elizabeth Reaser wore a Zuhair Murad black illusion beaded mini dress with nude lining.

Christian Louboutin Fetilo completed the look.

LaLa Vazquez wore the same black and white Sass & Bide dress we’ve already seen on Cheryl Cole.

Sarah Hyland wore a purple BCBG Max Azria shirred panel dress from the Spring 2010 collection, which she paired with black heels.

AnnaLynne McCord tried to upstage in a nude Nicole Miller flamenco style gown.

Julia Jones looked gorgeous wearing a Marchesa embroidered strapless dress with nude Brian Atwood pumps and Chopard jewels.

Jamie King opted for a grey Burberry Prorsum dress with some less than complementary heels.

And finally Jennie Garth wore a Tadashi Shoji Fall 2010 metallic pleated flutter sleeve dress with fringe embellishment.

Hilary Swank looked stunning when she was spotted outside the Imperial Theater in New York yesterday.

We don’t see Hilary often, but she always takes my breath away as she just oozes class much like Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton.

Black dresses are quite hard to ID, but I was able to identify her Andrew GN Fall 2009 dress by the web-like puffy sleeves and the patent leather trims which appeared on a few pieces in this collection.

I loved both the shirt and pants runway look and her dress, but if I had to pick a look I would die for her sexy LBD.

Michelle Monaghan likes to wear short styles on the red carpet, so it was not a surprise to see her sporting this style at the “Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time” LA premiere.

I may not be a fan of black on the red carpet, but I love navy blue or midnight blue so I was instantly drawn to Michelle in her navy Andrew GN Fall 2010 dress.

The embellished waistband and neckline sparkle whilst the draped bow accented detail on the skirt adds a playful touch.

I really appreciate the hair swept to one side to allow us to see the embellished shoulder strap. I love it when such details are not obscured.

No jewels, no clutch just black strappy Andrew GN patent heels and gorgeous smile.

I love this look.

Jennifer Lopez was spotted dining at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Paris wearing a thigh-skimming Andrew GN Fall 2010 top with leather detail epaulettes and a mini skirt plus thigh-high Emilio Pucci suede boots.

She finished off the look with a Jimmy Choo Tatum fringe shoulder bag, Tom Ford shades and hoop earrings.

This look is very Jennifer Lopez, she’s sassy enough make this work.

Not many who haven’t got supermodel giraffe legs can pull off wearing thigh-high boots.

I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of Jennifer whilst she’s in Europe, so this site might become the ‘Jennifer Lopez Fashion blog’ for a few days.

Andew Gn’s Fall 2010 was held at the Les Beaux-Arts de Paris. The venue had a rich warm chocolate back drop and runway.

The looks which glided gown the runway were equally delicious.

Andrew was inspired by the Persanes Lettres written by Montesquieu. The collection had an eighteenth-century look, but Gn modernized it calling the collection “modern rococo.”

The Gothic military presentation started off with sensual velvets: skirts, coats, jacket and mini dresses.

The military touches came via the detailing on the jackets, the large buckled belts and the knee high boots which were accented with silver armor.

I’ve been surprised that ruffles have been such a huge trend for Fall. Gn presented them on coats, blouses, dresses and gowns.

I had to wait until Look 38 before I could drool over Gn evening gowns.

My favourites were the long sleeved navy blue gown, and the strapless silver gown with a lace overlay which was exquisite.

I couldn’t get enough of those cascading ruffles which snaked around the gown. I can see Kate Beckinsale going gaga over that gown.

Gn loves to present his look with cuffs, and this time they worked perfectly with the military theme. They came in silver, gold and the black ones were beautifully embellished.

Gn invited me to his studio in Paris, where I got to see those small beautiful details up close. The beaded embroidery is sensational.
