Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Here are the rest of the red carpet looks from Elle’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute which took place last night in LA.

Reese Witherspoon: The actress channelled this season’s androgyny trend wearing a classic Bocanegra pant suit with a feminine twist which comes courtesy of a lace top under her jacket. I love the emerald Irene Neuwirth earrings, but I’m not loving the exposed bra too much.

Amber Heard: Unfortunately the only thing I like about Amber’s look on this occasion is the pink Calvin Klein dress. Her makeup is considerably paler than the last time out, the lip colour is too dark for her petal pink dress and those Calvin Klein grey pumps are just ugly. All good runs must come to an end.

Jayma Mays: Opted for a very glamorous look by donning a gorgeous Malandrino gown. The sea-blue silk chiffon one-ruffled-shoulder gown was teamed with a black Hoss clutch and David Yurman jewels.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William visited the Royal Marsden Hospital at Belmont on Thursday in London.

The happy couple opened the new Oak Centre for Children and Young People.

Catherine wore an Amanda Wakeley grey felt dress.

My first reaction was this is a re-run dress, then I realized that her style is so repetitive that I just had a strong case of déjà vu.

We have seen her accessories before as she wore her favourite nude LK Bennett pumps and a LK Bennett Natalie clutch.

I’m constantly surprised when I see the words ‘Style Icon’ and ‘Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’ in the same sentence.

Jameela Jamil attended the 2011 GQ Men Of The Year Awards in a very sexy sheer look.

The TV presenter chose a short black Amanda Wakeley Fall 2011 cocktail dress which features a long sheer overlay and an embellished peplum.

Jameela accessorized with black peep-toe heels, a black diamond bracelet and diamond ring.

She finished her look by wearing her long hair down and adding bold red lips.

I also prefer the dress with the leather waistband as presented on the runway.

It’s a shame Jameela is covering the most interesting details of her dress with her hands.

She needs “How to work a gown” 101 lessons from Sarah Jessica Parker.

Amber Heard took time out of her busy schedule filming her new movie, “Syrup” to attended Tasya Van Ree’s “Distorted Delicacies” art exhibit in New York City last night.

The blonde actress wore an Amanda Wakeley Fall 2011 dress.

You may fall off your chair when I say this, but I much prefer the black runway version of this cold-shoulder dress. It would’ve looked so hot on Amber.

It’s sleeker, it doesn’t look crushed plus the leather waistband defines the waist and makes the peplum stand out.

I may have forced myself to enjoy Amber’s look had she not added that clutch to this look.

Abbie Cornish wore a vibrant hue on the red carpet for the LA Premiere of her new movie, “Sucker Punch” which was held at The Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood last night.

The Australian actress wore an Amanda Wakeley Spring 2011 gown in electric blue – my favourite red carpet colour.

Her gown has a criss-cross detail on the bodice plus divine draped details from the hips.

It may not have a thigh-high split or bedazzle like her younger co-stars, but she looks very beautiful and elegant.

She completed her look with sapphire drop earrings and a gold envelope clutch.

Emmy Rossum attended the grand opening of the JW Marriott Hotel in Chicago earlier this week.

She opted for an Amanda Wakeley Spring 2010 dress.

Her gold belted saffron satin draped dress was paired with sparkly Rene Caovilla peep-toes and a Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.

As much as I love the dress and the way it drapes so beautifully, but I’m put off by the hair and make-up which are equally bad.

Coomi jewelry completed her look.
