Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic was held on Saturday (October 14) in Pacific Palisades, California, with a number of stars in attendance for the day of sport.

Tracee Ellis Ross: This look brought a big smile to my face, as I was immediately charmed by the Agnes B printed top and mustard-yellow Celine trousers. The star of the show was the Eric Javits hat, though, with Stuart Weitzman ‘Marlon’ shoes completing the typically quirky look. The shoes were funky, to be sure, but it was the Louis Vuitton clutch that I could have done without.

Camilla Belle: This Adeam Resort 2018 asymmetrical frock offered up such a delicately feminine vibe, with her pink lip echoing that spirit. Her block heels ensured there would be no sinking into the grass.

Kate Hudson: I loved the playfulness of this candy-stripe Johanna Ortiz Resort 2018 wide-leg jumpsuit, all tied up with its girlish bow. But, I would have been fearful that Kate would trip on the pants that puddled on the ground. The giant rosebud earrings were such fun as was the Clare V. ‘Petite Alice’ tote.

Jourdan Dunn & Riley Montana are Instaglam in Altuzarra & Adam Selman

A post shared by Jourdan Dunn (@jourdandunn) on

When it come to bathroom selfies, Kylie Jenner’s snap from the Met Gala is the best this year, but Jourdan Dunn and Riley Montana’s is ranking a very close second.

Proving that as a model you can strike a fierce pose just about anywhere, the duo invited us to taste the rainbow in their lemon and orange tangy looks worn to the ‘Americans in Paris’ cocktail party on Saturday (September 30).

As we know, models motos are usually less is best, however, Jourdan showcased the power of a power suit in Altuzarra.

Riley and bold colours has always been a winning combination, so this fresh-off-the runway Adam Selman look was going to be no different.

While I’m loving the colour more than anything else, she totally selling the look to me.

They both are.

Variety And Women In Film’s 2017 Pre-Emmy Celebration

While Entertainment Weekly was hosting its Pre-Emmy Party on Friday (September 15) in West Hollywood, California. Variety and Women in Film were doing the same thing with their Pre-Emmy Celebration in West Hollywood that likewise attracted a number of stars.

Jennifer Nettles: Between the black paneling and the tiered skirt, this black-and-red dress could have benefited from a slightly simpler approach as it looked a bit haphazard as presented. Ileana Makri jewels completed the look.

Abigail Spencer: Abigail took a pretty-in-pink approach with her feminine Solace London dress that featured the added drama of cape sleeves an Edie Parker clutch and tonal pink Kurt Geiger pumps rounded out the look.

Angela Sarafyan: This Elisabetta Franchi Fall 2017 floral-embroidered frock was an intriguing fusion between high-octane shine and a slight Victorian vibe. Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a Jimmy Choo clutch blended right in, in the best way possible.

Rebecca Hall In Altuzarra & Armani Privé – Jurors Photocall & ‘Downsizing’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

British actress Rebecca Hall will serve as one of the juror’s for the 74th Venice Film Festival, and like Kristen Wiig, she’s already given us two great red carpet looks.

Photocall: I love how the sashaying fringed trims breathe drama and volume into the understated silhouette her Altuzarra Resort 2018 dress. Despite going for red sandals their impact was very complementary to the floral print.

‘Downsizing’ Premiere: I was taking several short sharp breaths upon sight of Rebecca at the premiere. I was totally blown away by her a Armani Privé Fall 2017 column gown which saw her all aglow with black sequins and crinoline details with multi-coloured embroidery. Some might say this is a lot like Anne Hathaway’s vintage Armani Privé ‘Colossal’ premiere gown, but I would say only the neckline. The rest of this look is in another stratosphere. This is easily one of my favourite looks of the year.

Olivia Culpo’s masterclass on how to wear red and pink together

Olivia Culpo appeared to throw out the fashion rule book (much like Sarah Jessica Parker) by combining the brightest and boldest colour-clashing trend of Spring 2017: red and pink.

Seamlessly wearing an Altuzarra Minamoto button-detailed sweater, Emanuel Ungaro Resort 2018 skirt, Gianvito Rossi Aramis patent-leather mules and Linda Farrow rose-gold plated aviator sunglasses, the model proves that some rules should be ignored.

The key to working eye popping brights is layering clean cuts with minimal fuss and colour-blocking.

I adore the flounced hemline which provides a super feminine detail.

Are you bold enough to work this trend?
