Bellamy Young In Self-Portrait & Kerry Washington In Altuzarra – The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Shonda Rhimes’ political drama ‘Scandal’ will wrap on April 19, after seven enthralling seasons.

Scott Foley, Bellamy Young, Tony Goldwyn and Kerry Washington made a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Wednesday (February 28), where they weren’t giving any clues as to how the show will come to an end.

Bellamy Young: After her fairy-tale moment at the LA premiere for ‘ A Wrinkle in Time’, the actress wore a Self-Portrait dress where the high neck and ruffled shoulders give it a chic Victoriana feel and the swishy pleated skirt adds some modernity. I’m on the fence when it comes to the red shoes here. The colour feels a bit random.

Kerry Washington: I love the vintage vibes Kerry’s Altuzarra Resort 2018 dress is giving off with its navy hue, stripes, belted waist and button details. The white Gianvito Rossi ‘Laura’ boots slouchy boots were both on-trend and a refreshing twist to this chic day time look.

Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther’ Global Junket Press Conference

After the world premiere, the stars of Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther’ continued the promo tour with a global junket press conference on Tuesday (January 30) in Beverly Hills, California.

Angela Bassett: Following her glowing fringe moment, the actress switched gears with this Dent de Man Spring 2016 suit from the label named for a mountain in West Africa’s Ivory Coast. This bit of relevance, combined with what was a bold translation of traditional menswear in an all-over batik print, made for such an impactful look.

Danai Gurira: I loved Danai’s world premiere entrance, and even though this Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2018 dress was far more subtle, it was lovely for a press conference. I like the slight fit-and-flare shape as well as the tonal bustier structure to add sophisticated allure to the design.

Lupita Nyong’o: Also offering up a patterned ensemble that took a completely different direction from her regal premiere gown, Lupita looked to the signature prints of designer Mary Katrantzou. The flirty silhouette of this Spring 2018 frock, with its shorter length and kick pleats, offered a sense of youthful exuberance—although it could also be called a bit twee, too. Did you miss the belt?

Tessa Thompson In Lingua Franca & Altuzarra – Women at Sundance Brunch

Tessa Thompson showed her support for females in the film industry at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, attending the Women at Sundance Brunch on Monday (January 22) in Park City, Utah.

The actress wore a Lingua Franca sweater which honored female directors Ava DuVernay, Greta Gerwig, Patty Jenkins and Dee Rees.

She elevated the piece with an Altuzarra Spring 2018 skirt and blazer — the latter being removed for some photos. The skirt’s uneven hem with button detailing creates dynamic movement while playing off the cursive font of the top.

There is a harmonious finish with the red and black color palette which speaks to the united message of the knit and the event.

This marks her second custom Lingua Franca sweater. She previously wore a black ‘Time’s Up’ sweater at the festival.

I am intrigued to see what she will wear next as she proves how important fashion can be at promoting a cause.

TIFF Presents ‘In Conversation With Evan Rachel Wood’

TIFF presented ‘In Conversation With Evan Rachel Wood’, starring the actress, on Saturday (January 20) in Toronto, Canada.

As she tends to favour sharp silhouettes and menswear-inspired tailoring, this Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2018 double-breasted suit was right in line with her style.

The fit was polished, but I can’t say she won me completely over with the stripes.

Her matching mulberry lip did help me warm to the colour palette, though.

Issa Rae In Altuzarra – An Artist at the Table Cocktail Reception @ Sundance Film Festival

Issa Rae was at An Artist at the Table cocktail reception and dinner on Thursday (January 18), held during the 2018 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

The ‘Insecure’ star is anything but on the red carpet, as she continues to confidently rock bright colours and bold embellishment.

This ruby-hued Altuzarra Spring 2018 top and skirt checked the box on latter category for sure, with sequins, beads, and plenty of shimmer.

However, between the length and the wide slit to reveal the plain skirt underneath, the look landed in slightly awkward territory.

But, as per, her styling was on point, and you could say that her dazzling smile even outshone all that embellishment.

Fergie In Altuzarra – The Four: Battle for Stardom

Fergie is the host of the new primetime singing competition show, ‘The Four: Battle for Stardom’, on Fox which airs at 8pm Thursdays in the US.

Last week, Fergie wore an Altuzarra Resort 2018 blazer whose bold red hue, padded shoulders and peak lapels combine for power dressing in the most modern sense.

Unfortunately, all the great work done by the blazer was undone by the booty shorts and perforated over-the-knee boots combo.

Emilia Clarke In Altuzarra – W Magazine Celebrates Its ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio

Emilia Clarke joined Tracee Ellis Ross, Elizabeth Olsen, Pom Klementieff, Michelle Monaghan and Gal Gadot for W Magazine’s Celebration of its ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio on Thursday (January 4) in LA.

We’re yet to see a sheer dress on the red carpet this year, so I’m sure you’ll be happy that Emilia opted for a lined version of her Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2018 dress.

There’s something deeply Parisian about this dress which instantly captivated me. I love how the frilled trims adds to the romanticism of this piece, proving that alluring doesn’t have to be see-through.

I will happily commend the styling of this look, but I’m not a huge fan of Emilia’s platinum blonde, dark lip, red eye combo.
