Pom Klementieff In Altuzarra – 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards

Pom Klementieff showed off her sleek and sophisticated aesthetic at the 2017 CDFA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 5) in New York City.

The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ actress has divulged that she loves a good blazer, and it’s easy to see why. The Altuzarra Fall 2017 suit was about as beautiful as they come. Luxurious black velvet trousers looked utterly irresistible with the embroidered blazer.

Satin bows and gold embroidered bouquets added elegant feminine touches. Louboutin pumps looked impossibly chic and timeless, the perfect classic shoe for this look.

Baroque style earrings from Irene Neuwirth completed the exquisite ensemble. She may have played a Marvel Superhero, but Pom is quickly making a name for herself as a fashionista in the making.

10th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Red Carpet Roundup

A number of other summer-ready stars joined Nicole Kidman at the 10th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Saturday (June 3) in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Kendall Jenner: Geranium-chic is what Kendall was giving us in her adorable Dolce & Gabbana floral mini styled with a matching purse and scarf—plus a bit of ’70s funk with her white Stuart Weitzman ‘Clingy’ booties lest the mood get too precious.

Tommy Dorfman: I loved seeing this Vince Camuto look from Tommy, as it set a playfully exuberant, style-forward mood without going over the top. Pink shades, pink shoes and soles, and cropped, schoolboy trousers—he sold it to me.

Kate Mara: Innocently feminine with an undercurrent of sheer lace allure, this Burberry frock was light and lovely for the event.

End of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

With Cannes in full swing, there were many more looks that took to the red carpet this past week outside of the film festival fashion scene.

Kerry Washington: I was so delighted with Kerry’s recent vibrant ensembles that this Monse Fall 2017 dress left me underwhelmed at the ‘Scandal’ Watch Party presented by The Paley Center for Media. Yet, it was still a chic showing from the actress. Malone Souliers ‘Savannah’ sandals completed her look.

Eleanor Tomlinson: A dainty Altuzarra Spring 2017 embroidered chiffon top provided a delicate counterpoint for black trousers and a black leather tie belt. Metallic ‘Parker’ sandals completed the casual-elegant look at ‘The Talk Of The Townhouse’ hosted by Jo Malone London.

Dakota Fanning: Sassy hot-pink won the prize in this youthfully fun Proenza Schouler ikat-inspired crepe wrap dress from the Pre-Fall 2017 collection, which Dakota strutted out at the 2017 Turner Upfront.

Evan Rachel Wood In Altuzarra – 2017 Met Gala

Evan Rachel Wood attended the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1).

The ‘Westworld’ actress wore an Altuzarra pantsuit with classic black pumps and clutch.

This pantsuit is cool. First and foremost, I love that it’s pants–An Evan Rachel signature, and a fun change of pace for the evening. I also easy it looks to wear, despite the detailed beading on the bodice. Of course, a train with pants is always a fun fashion treat, and while I actually might like the bodice a bit more if it weren’t asymmetrical, I’m not going to nitpick this lovely look.

And then we get to the beauty side of things. I love going for it when it comes to drama and themes. I really do, but unfortunately, the only thing it seems that Evan Rachel went for was a campy Halloween costume.

The over-the-top eye and brow makeup in addition to the hair color doesn’t read edgy to me. It read DIY gone wrong.

Am I missing a really fabulous beauty point, or do you agree that that hair and makeup just aren’t working?

Lily Collins In Altuzarra – ITV Studios

Lily Collins was at the ITV Studios in London, promoting ‘Rules Don’t Apply,’ on Tuesday (April 18).

While her Altuzarra Spring 2017 dress was fully abloom in pink and yellow flowers, the sheer slip dress stayed far away from sugary territory.

What was a more innocently delicate incarnation on the runway became a look with a deeper rebel edge when worn without the tights and with the addition of a slick black patent trench.

I would say the coat is what kept the see-through quality of the dress in check rather than full overexposure—especially in the bright light of day.
