Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Edy Ganem In Alon Livné - International Fashion Film Awards

Edy Ganem attended the International Fashion Film Awards held at the Saban Theatre on Sunday (July 27) in Beverly Hills, California.

The ‘Devious Maids’ actress wore a navy Alon Livné jumpsuit with a lace bodice and off-white frilled neckline.

At first I thought she was wearing a gold statement neckline but the gold detailing you see is part of the piece, which is also accented with feathers.

With so much detailing, she swept her glossy raven hair up into a simple topknot, accessorizing with a gold clutch and white sandals with gold accents.

Keke Palmer In Alon Livné - 2014 BET Awards

Keke Palmer hit the red carpet of the 2014 BET Awards yesterday (June 29) at Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE.

The actress wore a glitzy Alon Livné dress from the designer’s Spring 2014 collection with white Saint Laurent heels and very simple JLANI jewels.

While I’m usually not a fan of the ‘extreme peek-a-boo’ trend that’s happening on the red carpet right now, I’m really struck by this look.

The shape and metallic detailing are futuristic and striking and completely unique from everything else that is happening on the red carpet.

Sleeked back hair and barely there makeup are the perfect compliment to the look.

Selita Ebanks In Alon Livne - New Yorkers For Children’s 11th Anniversary A Fool’s Fete

Selita Ebanks joined Emma Roberts on the red carpet for the New Yorkers For Children’s 11th Anniversary ‘A Fool’s Fete’ Spring Dance held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Monday (April 21) in New York City.

The model was smouldering hot, wearing an Alon Livne Fall 2014 gown featuring a beaded silver bodice with intricate embroidered detailing contrasted with a flattering black skirt featuring a thigh-high slit.

Working the best version of the partless hairdo trend, the low-maintenance style was the perfect way to allow the dress to shine.

This spectacular, unique piece was styled with black Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps, a silver ring by Lauren X Khoo and a bracelet by Jacob & Co.

Ellie Goulding In Alon Livné - MTV Movie Awards Performance

Ellie Goulding performed songs from the ‘Divergent’ soundtrack during the 2014 MTV Movie Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (April 13) in Los Angeles, California alongside electro-house DJ and producer Zedd.

Opting to go barefoot, the singer wore an Alon Livné Spring 2014 gown consisting of a gold sculptured bodice, which was perfectly in tune with the futuristic theme of the movie’s soundtrack, and a flowing white skirt slit to the hip.

Her Giles & Brother cuffs couldn’t be a more perfect way to style this part-futuristic part-boho look.

Regina Hall In Alon Livné - Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2014

Regina Hall attended the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday (March 2) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress brought the sheer trend back with a vengeance wearing an Alon Livné black sheer gown with a plunging neckline and subtle embellishments.

Yes, we are o.v.e.r the sheer trend, but I have to admit I love everything that’s going on here from the sexy gown, to the colour-block clutch to the wavy tresses.

Bellamy Young In Alon Livné - Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party

Bellamy Young posed for the cameras at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscars Party this Sunday (March 2).

The First Lady on ‘Scandal’ took a fashion risk and wore an Alon Livné Spring 2014.

I’m always excited to see celebrities trying runway looks but in this case, I’m afraid the risk didn’t pay off.

Cutouts, neons, a metallic clutch, long earrings and her hair down add to what I think, is a dysfunctional look.

Am I being too conservative or does this just not work?
