Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Krysten Ritter is having a busy week and I am having trouble keeping up with her many looks.

On Tuesday she was spotted filming ‘Dont Trust That B**** in Apt 23′ filming on the streets of Manhattan wearing an Alice + Olivia dress with a beaded nude top and black flared skirt. I love the red touches to this look. This dress didn’t go down so well with many of you when Rumer Willis wore it recently.

For ‘Live with Kelly and Michael’ she opted for a Collette Dinnigan Resort 2013 beaded lace and mesh dress which she styled with black Jimmy Choo ‘Tarika’ pumps. This is one of Krysten’s more sombre looks, so thankfully she opted for her signature red lip colour.

She was spotted on her way to a ‘Anderson Live’ yesterday wearing one of my favourite looks from her this week. Her black Reem Acra dress with sheer black-and-gold polka dot panels was perfectly complemented by Jean-Michel Cazabat gold pumps with a black heel. Read more…

Sarah Hyland attended the NYLON October IT Issue Celebration held at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, last night.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress wore a cute Alice + Olivia ivory top with an embellished collar, with a futuristic silver metallic Zimmermann skirt.

She accessorized her look with a purple Lauren Merkin ‘Eve’ clutch, slate-grey Casadei blade pumps, Joan Hornig silver stud earrings, Melinda Maria ring and cuff.

A topknot and gothic-inspired makeup including a deep berry lip colour completed her look.

Here are the rest of the looks from yesterday evening’s amfAR’s Inspiration Gala, held at Milk Studios in California.

Kristin Davis: You pretty much know what you’re going to get from a Kristin Davis look: a pretty fit-and-flare dress. It’s a formula which has worked so well for her in the past and this vintage Lanvin midnight-blue dress with an ivory slash across the bodice proves that the formula still works. Navy Christian Louboutin sandals and a silver clutch completed her look.

Octavia Spencer: Award season may be over, but Octavia’s love for Tadashi Shoji continues. The Oscar-winning actress looked stunning wearing a custom black-and-nude lace-embroidered dress with an on-trend peplum detail. Black accessories and silver jewels completed her look.

Rumer Willis: The actress donned a cute Alice + Olivia dress with a nude bodice decorated with black sequins and a poufy A-line skirt. Black glitter YSL Tribute sandals and a silver clutch with crystal embellishments accessorized her look. I wish Rumer had opted for softer makeup for this look. The heavy kohl-rimmed eyes and bright red lips don’t work for me with this dainty look.

Taylor Swift attended the BBC Radio 1 ‘Teen Awards’ held at Wembley Arena in London on Sunday afternoon.

The country singer wore an Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 dress, our first look at this collection on the red carpet.

Her sweet cream fit-and-flare dress is the perfect look to appeal to her teen fan base, plus I love the cut-out details at the back.

Taylor has become mildly obsessed with Charlotte Olympia’s ‘Kitty’ footwear range. She has them in white flats, navy flats and this white pair has a high heel.

Tying her signature wavy tresses into a chic bun, she kept her accessories to a minimum, selecting diamond encrusted earrings.

Kolh-rimmed eyes and a refreshing light red lip colour, to break up all the nude lips we saw on the red carpet this weekend, completed her look.

Stacey Bendet was inspired by the uplifting American optimism of the late 1950s for her Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 collection.

With the brand’s signature flirty flair, the clothes took shape in full-skirt silhouettes, corsets, bustiers and sexy cropped pants, with plenty of party dresses also featuring in this bold and sexy collection.

Feminine fit-and-flare dresses, pedal pushers, crop tops, a beautiful tiered maxi dress, cropped jackets, macs and shorts in shades of sky blue, pink, coral, bright orange, mint green, lavender and peach filled the room at the designer’s Meatpacking District studio.

Colour-blocking stood out, as did the punchy polka dots and the colourful stripes.

Red-carpet-wise, celebs have plenty to choose from as Stacey presented a selection of maxi dresses and gowns ranging from colour-block chiffon halter gowns, a gorgeous white peplum gown with a black lace overlay, a colourful maxi shirt dress and a lightly beaded beige gown.

For Spring 2013, Alice + Olivia launched a handbag collection with three styles: the classic ‘Olivia’ bag, the ‘D’ bag for women on the go, and the ‘See’ bag for everyday use.

Other key accessories included lace-up pointed-toe booties, pointed-toe pumps, ankle-strap sandals and cat-eye sunglasses.

Celebrity Attendance: Louise Roe, Holland Roden, Jamie Chung, Lauren Conrad, Natasha Bedingfield, Tinsley Mortimer, Angela Simmons and Elizabeth Moss

Favourites: Splash paint dress with tulip skirt and striped strapless dress

Who I See Wearing This Collection: Holland Roden, Sami Gayle, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Sophia Bush, LeAnn Rimes, Tinsley Mortimer, Louise Roe, Michelle Trachtenberg, Jordin Sparks, Nicky Hilton, Odette Annable, Jamie Chung and Abigil Breslin

Olivia Munn opted for something short and sassy for the 2012 Do Something Awards, held in Santa Monica, California on Sunday.

The ‘Magic Mike’ actress wore an Alice + Olivia vibrant hot pink circle patterned tweed sleeveless dress with a fringed neckline and hemline.

Rather unimaginative (and heavy) Sole Society nude pumps and floral earrings accessorized her look with the finishing touches including a simple ponytail and polka dot nails.
