Sarah Hyland In Alice + Olivia & Jenni Kayne – The View & Late Show With David Letterman

Sarah Hyland In Alice + Olivia & Jenni Kayne - The View & Late Show With David Letterman

When not hanging out with BFF Taylor Swift in New York City, Sarah Hyland has been busy promoting ‘Modern Family’.

Last week the young actress was showcasing her style on the streets of Manhattan with two great looks. One expected, one not so much.

The View: While en route to her first interview on Wednesday (April 23) the actress wore an Alice + Olivia Fall 2014 ensemble consisting of a cropped saffron crewneck tank top styled with a pleated butterfly and floral print skirt for a bold and colourful flourish to her look. Adding a black coat with leather sleeves, she accessorized with a Christian Dior ‘Lady Dior’ bag and coral patent open-toe Kurt Geiger ‘Juniper’ sandals.

Letterman: As much as I loved the first look for its colour and bold print, this look – the unexpected one – is so effortlessly chic and stylish that I can’t help favouring it. The actress wore a Jenni Kayne oversized black blazer with the sleeves turned up, a black Osklen crop top, and white flared crepe trousers with a breezy, loose silhouette featuring gold-tone buttons punctuating the sides of the layered waistband. It’s the Rena Caovilla teal heels with black Swarovski crystals which I love. The pop of colour really enlivens this look, along with the chic shades.

Both these looks are the reason why Sarah is on my ones-to-watch list. She has been making such interesting choices lately, something I wouldn’t have said a year ago.

Cherry Ngan In Alice + Olivia – 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards

Cherry Ngan In Alice + Olivia - 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards

Cherry Ngan, nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in ‘The Way We Dance, took to the red carpet for the 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards on Sunday (April 9) in Hong Kong.

The actress looked divine wearing an Alice + Olivia backless halter gown with a colourful and dramatic graphic-print from the designers’ capsule collaboration with famed muralist and graffiti artist David Choe.

She styled the look with an Anya Hindmarch ‘Crisp Packet’ silver clutch and an elegant half-up, half-down hairstyle.

You may remember that Anne Hathaway recently wore a skirt from this same collection.

Anne Hathaway In Alice + Olivia – ‘Rio 2′ Miami Press Conference

Anne Hathaway In Alice + Olivia - 'Rio 2' Miami Press Conference2

Anne Hathaway attended the ‘Rio 2′ press conference held at the Fontainebleau Hotel on Sunday (March 23) in Miami Beach, Florida.

Continuing to make stunning departures from all that we attribute to her style-wise, the actress wore a black top with a colourful and dramatic graphic-print Alice + Olivia ball skirt from the designers’ capsule collaboration with famed muralist and graffiti artist David Choe.

While I love the skirt, I’m not a fan of the crop top. I would’ve preferred a longer, tucked in top.

I also find the hair accessories a tad jarring. It would look cute on a teen actress, but Anne is not selling it to me.

Zosia Mamet In Alice + Olivia – ‘Hand To God’ Off-Broadway Opening Night

Zosia Mamet In Alice + Olivia - 'Hand To God' Off-Broadway Opening Night

Zosia Mamet attended the ‘Hand To God’ Off-Broadway opening night at Lucille Lortel Theatre on Monday (March 10) in New York City.

Giving us a rare smile, the ‘Girls’ actress wore a weather-appropriate look by Alice + Olivia.

Her look consisted of a white jacket with a fur collar, a grey cardi, a black blouse, and a grey draped tulip skirt.

An Alice + Olivia leather bag was perfectly colour co-ordinated to her outfit, adding yet another shade of grey, with black biker boots toughening up her look.

Colour me surprised, but I really like many elements of this look – the skirt especially. Take out the fur collar and grey cardigan its a rare winning look for Zosia.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum In Alice + Olivia – Maybelline New York and The Daily Front Row Fashion & Hollywood Luncheon

Jenna Dewan-Tatum joined Naomie Harris on the red carpet for the Maybelline New York and The Daily Front Row Fashion & Hollywood Luncheon held at Cecconi’s Restaurant on Tuesday (February 25) in Los Angeles, California.

Keeping it sweet, chic and luncheon appropriate, the ‘Witches of East End’ actress wore an Alice + Olivia look consisting of a ballerina bodysuit, high-waisted lace shorts and a tuxedo blazer.

While we occasionally tire of seeing nude pumps on the red carpet, they couldn’t be more perfect for her look here – complementary and leg lengthening.

Wavy hair, a matte-pink lip and nameplate necklaces in yellow-gold, silver and gold provided the finishing touches to her look.

USA Network Hosts ‘Modern Family’ Fan Appreciation Day

Modern Family Fan Appreciation Day

In honor of yesterday’s ‘Modern Family’ Fan Appreciation Day, hosted by the USA Network in Los Angeles, the TV show’s leading ladies stepped out in support.

Ariel Winter: Usually one for shorter fit-and-flare dresses, the young actress went with the tuxedo-inspired Alice + Olivia ‘Arrow’ two-tone boned jumpsuit instead. To finish, she styled her cocktail look with black patent-leather peep-toe pumps and two embellished cuffs.

Julie Bowen: The star chose a paisley print-heavy dress from Etro’s Fall 2012 runway. Aside from the dress’s colorful print, it featured other standout details as well, including a drop-waist silhouette and a flirty black ruffled hem. To complete the look, Julie wore black Jimmy Choo ‘Myth’ sandals, a large cocktail ring, and a bright Jimmy Choo ‘Tube’ clutch.
