Sami Gayle In Alice + Olivia - 'Olympus Has Fallen' Screening

Sami Gayle attended a screening of FilmDistrict’s ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City yesterday evening.

The young actress, who had a bit of a Miu Miu obsession in the past, selected a cute Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 frock on this occasion.

Her watercolour-print dress of yellow, pink, blue and purple is finished with a sparkly gem collar, a matching belt and mesh-detailed back.

The orange snakeskin clutch is an interesting addition to her look as it provided a striking contrast, whereas her heart-print pumps play up to the cutesy vibe of her look.

Pretty colours, a preppy embellished collar and a perky flared skirt were all the ingredients to make this ultimate princess dress. While this isn’t Sami’s usual M.O., she makes it work in a quirky way.

Holland Roden In Alice + Olivia - Teen Vogue 10th Anniversary Party & Chloe Moretz' Sweet Sixteen Birthday Party

Holland Roden attended the Teen Vogue 10th Anniversary and Chloe Grace Moretz Sweet 16 Celebration at Aeropostale, Times Square in New York City.

The ‘Teen Wolf’ actress wore a unique Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 dress.

While I applaud the actress for wearing this difficult-to-pull-off splatter-paint bustier gown with a tulip skirt, the look doesn’t translate so well on the red carpet.

Sadly, the gown loses so much of its appeal with the deflated skirt.

I’m sure this would be almost impossible to recreate, especially considering the actress’ height, but keeping the belt would’ve allowed the gown to retain some of its original charm.

The pops of red are certainly interesting, but I would’ve considered a bolder lip colour.

Thoughts?

Holland Roden In Alice + Olivia - 'Warm Bodies' LA Premiere

Holland Roden joined Teresa Palmer on the red carpet last night for the ‘Warm Bodies’ LA premiere, held at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama in Hollywood, California.

The ‘Teen Wolf’ beauty wore a feathered confection from the Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 collection; no doubt she spied this ivory high-necked frock with embroidered details at the NYFW presentation she attended back in September.

Keeping her gorgeous red hair under wraps in a centre-parted updo, Holland styled her look with gold Jerome C Rousseau sandals and a pearlized embossed python clutch with a gold trim by the same designer to complement her shoes.

With such a light dress, the temptation to opt for a nude or light lip colour must have been strong, but Holland opted for an on-trend matte red lip colour to complete her look.

Who Wore Alice + Olivia Better Rumer Willis, Krysten Ritter or Zendaya Coleman

Rumer Willis was the first to wear this Alice + Olivia ‘Bergen’ beaded dress to the amfAR Inspiration Gala in LA back in October.

The party-ready, retro fit-and-flare frock with animal-print beading and a full tulle skirt was styled with black glitter YSL ‘Tribute’ sandals and a silver clutch.

Krysten Ritter is a fellow fan of Stacey Bendet’s fun and fanciful girlie frocks so I wasn’t surprised to see her also don this look.

The ‘Don’t Trust The B**** in Apartment 23’ star wore the same dress while filming scenes for her hit show on the streets of Manhattan a few weeks later.

Pops of red via her glasses, nails and pumps gave this look an extra kick.

Zendaya Coleman gave this sassy dress a third run out at the 2012 American Music Awards mid-November.

Pink was injected into her look via her lips and nails, with spiked Louboutins and a black clutch completing her look.

Rumer doesn’t quite have that girlie vibe to pull off this look for me, so it’s down to Krysten and Zendaya.

Zendaya eventually won for me as I love the addition of the belt – which was lacking from the other two looks – her faux bob, and the sugary pink is preferred over the fierce red with this look.

Emmy Rossum In Alice + Olivia - Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Emmy Rossum is a busy girl of late, promoting her new album ‘Sentimental Journey’ and her hit TV show ‘Shameless’.

The actress was in New York City on Tuesday night making a guest appearance on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’, where she talked to the host about her love for the New York Knicks.

She showcased her love for uber-girlie dresses, wearing an Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 trapeze-hem dress.

The shimmering metallic frock was pepped up with electric-blue Jimmy Choo suede shoes for an added dose of colour.

A simple top-knot completed her look.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Emmy sport a white-dress, blue-shoe combo.

Just over a year ago, she wore this same colour combo making a guest appearance on Conan.

Rumer Willis In Alice + Olivia - 2013 People’s Choice Awards

Rumer Willis can be somewhat of a loose cannon on the red-carpet; sometimes she hits and other times she misses. Yesterday evening’s 2013 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California was definitely a hit for the young starlet.

She went for all-out glamour in an Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet Fall 2012 gown. It was a paillette-encrusted marvel with alternating diagonal black and silver striping, a pattern that proved quite figure-flattering.

To offset the high neckline and cap sleeve of the dress (and to show off the keyhole back detail), Rumer swept her hair back into a messy updo, but added some face-framing softness with loose layers around her face.

Her silvery box clutch was the perfect match with its quartz-inspired detail, and her sapphire Bochic statement earrings were stunning.
