2010 Cannes Film Festival: “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” Premiere – Sandrine Bonnaire In Alexis Mabille Couture

French actress Sandrine Bonnaire walked the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” this evening.

Some of you are over the ball gowns and mermaid hems, so Sandrine gives us something totally different.

She wore an Alexis Mabille Spring 2010 Couture blue and black dress.

I love how this dress has a very fitted bodice with a loose fluid skirt.

She opted out of dying her hair blue like the model, but she did sport a blue head-wrap.

Black strappy sandals complete this refreshing look.

Runway To “City Island” New York Screening – Julianna Margulies In Alexis Mabille Couture

I’m currently obsessed with “The Good Wife” which airs on Mondays in the UK on Channel 4.

The star of the show is Julianna Margulies, who was seen in New York this week at a screening of “City Island” in which she stars.

This awards season we’ve seen Julianna wear a lot of custom pieces by Narciso Rodriguez, but on this occasion she wore a boat neckline Alexis Mabille Spring 2010 Couture dress with beige panels.

The Alexis Mabille Spring 2010 Couture collection was full of colour-blocking and geometric themes.

Julianna picked one of the more tamer pieces which suited her sophisticated style.

The tights on this occasion don’t bother me, but the shoes do.

Other than that I do like this look. Very event appropriated.

Keira Knightley’s Alexis Mabille Dress On Sale At CoutureLab.com

Whilst browsing CoutureLab.com I was surprised to stumbled across the Alexis Mabille Fall 2008 Couture dress, which Keira Knightley wore to “The Duchess” London premiere back in September last year and Dita von Teese wore to a “Dsquared² cocktail reception” during “Cannes Film Festival”.

It not often you find a runway couture dress on sale online, but you can purchase this dress in black from Couturelab for only £3,063/€3,277/$4,288.

Who Wore Alexis Mabille Better? Keira Knightley or Dita von Teese

Keira Knightley struck familiar pose ~~pout~~ on the red carpet at the premiere of her movie, The Duchess, in London last September.

She showed off her slender frame, whilst wearing a blue Alexis Mabille Fall 2008 Couture dress, who’s dotted detail on the blue tulle, was slightly darker from the runway version.

Side sweeping bangs, a chunky ring, and patent Moschino heels completed the look.

Dita von Teese wore the same couture dress to the Dsquared² cocktail reception celebrating their store opening in Cannes this week.

Despite how beautiful the dress looks against her porcelain skin, and how the style is perfect on her sexy silhouette, the whimsical feel of the dress suits Keira better.
