Cannes Fashion For Relief

The Fashion for Relief gala and runway show event was held during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 21), with attendees turning up the volume on their own fashion statements for the evening.

Naomi Campbell: Before gracing the runway at the event, the supermodel stunned in an Atelier Versace Spring 2017 gown with Santoni sandals and Bulgari jewels. The slithery, slit-to-there was Naomi’s version of a Grecian goddess look; I loved the movement of the diaphanous skirt and the shimmer of the knotted overlay that infused the look with an intriguing edge.

Uma Thurman: After her questionable last look, Uma redeemed herself a bit in this Atelier Versace embellished number styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. However, am I alone in thinking the dress felt a bit dated?

Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan
: I have a feeling that this Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci dress was far more beautifully perceived in person with its tonal embroidery and lace underskirt. Its pristine-white polish is what kept me most interested.

Lewis Hamilton
: The British race car driver didn’t leave his sporty edge at home, bringing it to Cannes with this Gucci ‘Bee’ bomber jacket.

Bella Hadid In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Bella Hadid attended the 2017 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts (Les Fantomes d’Ismael)’ on Wednesday (May 17).

Earlier in the day, we saw Bella in satin, and she kept the silky gloss going strong in a custom Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown.

Slit-to-there, and with a sculpted corset, this design celebrated the undeniable sexiness that the house of Alexandre Vauthier does best.

I love that the delicate ballet-pink hue tempered the sultriness with a softer touch.

Her jaw-dropping diamond and sapphire pendant necklace added a Cannes-appropriate level of extravagance.

Cara Delevingne In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 4th Annual unite4:humanity Gala

Cara Delevingne was at the 4th Annual unite4:humanity Gala on Friday (April 7) in Beverly Hills, California.

The model-actress, who’s starring in the upcoming film ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,’ has been working a new edginess lately that coincides with her platinum locks.

And, she’s won me over with her sharp, sexy looks including this Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2017 Couture dress that also had something of a futuristic bent to it with its strong shoulders and constellation of starburst embellishment.

I’m not typically a fan of red eye makeup, but the smoldering tonal nature of hers worked on this occasion bringing another layer of sultry power to the look.

Cara Delevingne In Alexandre Vauthier – ‘Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets’ Trailer Viewing

Cara Delevingne was back on the red carpet for the trailer viewing of ‘Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets’ on Monday (March 27) in LA.

The actress kick started the promotion of her new film wearing tweed, but not as we know it.

I love how her Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 strapless mini dress and cropped jacket chalks up feminine feel with a modern, fashion forward sensibility.

Cara always has a commanding presence on the red carpet without being intimidating, which for me is part of her unwavering charm.

If this is what she’s serving up just for the viewing, it looks like we have an amazing promo tour ahead of us.

A modern disco darling, Natalia Vodianova struck a power pose at a surprise birthday party organised by Antoine Arnault at the Manko restaurant in Paris on Saturday (March 4).

Clearly the colour of the night was red, and the model was red-haute in this Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2017 Couture draped metallic mini.

Sizzling with Vauthier’s signature brand of sultriness, the dress was also one the was perfectly made for a party, with Natalia imbuing plenty of fun to its fiercer side.
