Hailey Baldwin In Alexandre Vauthier Couture & David Koma – 2017 Maxim Hot 100 Party & 2017 NBA Awards

Hailey Baldwin has graced a number of the hottest events in the last few days with appearances at both the 2017 Maxim Hot 100 Party in LA on Saturday (June 24), and the 2017 NBA Awards on Monday (June 26) in New York.

Maxim Hot 100 Party: More is more seemed to be the model’s ethos (or less is less if you consider the hemline) as she amped up the sex appeal donning an Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2017 Couture backless dress. I particularly love the draping and the back of this look which feels coquettish and crisp. I don’t mind the length at all, but the pewter sandals prevent me loving this entirely.

2017 NBA Awards: The interesting cut-out design on this David Koma Fall 2017 dress is not for the shy and retiring. Hailey wore her look with unabashed confidence and charisma. I love the powerful feel to the gold and black hues, especially when paired with the Vita Fede two-tone hoop earrings. This risqué look may not be to everybody’s taste, but from her tousled hair to her unapologetically high Charlotte Olympia pumps, Hailey committed to this look.

Jada Pinkett Smith In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2017 BET Awards

Jada Pinkett Smith was gorgeous in gold on Sunday (June 25) at the 2017 BET Awards in LA.

Her Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2016 Couture gown oozed plenty of sex appeal, with a thigh-high split and plunging neckline breaking up the heavily sequined look.

Mirroring the metallic dress, Jada’s Borgioni black diamond stud earrings and a Le Vian diamond ring, were equally as attention-grabbing.

I love the scarf-like detail on this look which trails behind the dress regally adding some extra glamour.

Slicked back hair, flawless makeup, a black/gold Edie Parker ‘Wolf Shard Lock’ clutch accessorized the look perfectly, but the plain Louboutins could’ve been a bit more exciting.

2017 amfAR Gala Cannes Model Roundup

The models were out in force for the amfAR Gala Cannes on Thursday (May 25) during the Cannes Film Festival.

Elsa Hosk: Striking a pose with a distinct pink, pinup mood, this Ermanno Scervino Fall 2017 gown had all the hallmarks of boudoir dressing with the exposed corset and sheer lace—distracting black heels notwithstanding.

Bianca Balti: What’s this? A model not baring it all? Bianca went for a more conservative stance in a Dolce & Gabbana black gown that oozed of old Hollywood glamour when styled with finger waves, statement jewels, and Gianvito Rossi shoes.

Joan Smalls: Between the length, the ubiquitous slit, and the collar-style neck piece, I wasn’t quite sure what to make of this Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture dress paired with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and gigantic hoop earrings. Hip-hop, tribal glam?

Trophée Chopard Ceremony

A range of stars indulged in a range of sparkling looks at the Trophée Chopard Ceremony on Monday (May 22) as part of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

Marion Cotillard: None shone more brightly than Marion who took my breath away in a Halpern Fall 2017 masterwork styled with a diamond collar necklace. I could gush on and on about the fantasy of the design’s radiant, colour-swirled paillettes, the unexpected mod edge of the pants, and the impossibly long, shimmering train. But, we should just let the look do the talking.

Cannes Fashion For Relief

The Fashion for Relief gala and runway show event was held during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 21), with attendees turning up the volume on their own fashion statements for the evening.

Naomi Campbell: Before gracing the runway at the event, the supermodel stunned in an Atelier Versace Spring 2017 gown with Santoni sandals and Bulgari jewels. The slithery, slit-to-there was Naomi’s version of a Grecian goddess look; I loved the movement of the diaphanous skirt and the shimmer of the knotted overlay that infused the look with an intriguing edge.

Uma Thurman: After her questionable last look, Uma redeemed herself a bit in this Atelier Versace embellished number styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. However, am I alone in thinking the dress felt a bit dated?

Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan
: I have a feeling that this Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci dress was far more beautifully perceived in person with its tonal embroidery and lace underskirt. Its pristine-white polish is what kept me most interested.

Lewis Hamilton
: The British race car driver didn’t leave his sporty edge at home, bringing it to Cannes with this Gucci ‘Bee’ bomber jacket.

Bella Hadid In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Bella Hadid attended the 2017 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts (Les Fantomes d’Ismael)’ on Wednesday (May 17).

Earlier in the day, we saw Bella in satin, and she kept the silky gloss going strong in a custom Alexandre Vauthier Couture gown.

Slit-to-there, and with a sculpted corset, this design celebrated the undeniable sexiness that the house of Alexandre Vauthier does best.

I love that the delicate ballet-pink hue tempered the sultriness with a softer touch.

Her jaw-dropping diamond and sapphire pendant necklace added a Cannes-appropriate level of extravagance.
