2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Show Party

The 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party took place on Monday (November 20) in Shanghai, China, with a wide ranging mix of styles.

I decided to split them into categories this year staring with: My Favourites.

Cindy Bruna: This Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 suit originally stormed the runway with a blouse, but Cindy made the look her own by opting to go without.  The excessive boobage might turn off some, but I’m more intrigued by the impeccable tailoring.

Maria Borges: I’m a huge fan of Maria’s style, but I was blown away when she opted to wear this Tiffany Amber gown which proudly showcased her African roots. The dress, the belt and head wrap are gorgeous, but it’s the ‘going against the grain’ statement which I find most endearing.

Jourdana Phillips: You can’t get much chicer than a cream tuxedo dress styled with gold Giuseppe Zanotti rose-gold sandals.

Kat Graham In Ronald van der Kemp Couture & Alexandre Vauthier – 2017 American Music Awards

Like Hailee Steinfeld, Kat Graham wore two looks during the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 19) in LA.

The first was a two-piece Ronald van der Kemp Spring 2017 Couture look which was immensely pretty, yet I struggled to get on board with this look from the waist down.

I’m not sure if it’s the pose, or the fit of the skirt which is the issue here.

Ciara In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2017 American Music Awards

Despite this not being Ciara first red carpet appearance since becoming a mother, the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 19) in LA was her first major event; and she didn’t let us down.

If you were expecting golden honey locks and a sheer Dundas gown, you’ll no doubt be as surprised as I was to see the singer wearing this mini dress from Alexandre Vauthier’s Fall 2017 Couture collection with jet-black, wet-look tresses.

The snakeskin fabrication that lent a brilliant high-shine finish to this Alexandre Vauthier dress, perfectly worked with Ciara’s glamorous aesthetic, while fitting the music ceremony narrative without feeling OTT.

I’m delighted to see her back on top form.

Kate Bosworth In Alexandre Vauthier – 3rd Annual InStyle Awards

Kate Bosworth’s sartorial style was shining brightly for all to see at the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore an green and gold Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 ready-to-wear dress, which possessed couture-like precision, serving a hint of seduction via the slit.

Resisting the temptation to coordinate her accessories with her corsage, she styled her look with Christian Louboutin clutch, black strappy sandals and Norman Silverman jewels.

Whoever did her makeup deserves a standing ovation. She looks stunning.

Irina Shayk In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – A Legend Of Beauty – Intimissimi On Ice 2017

Irina Shayk was at A Legend Of Beauty – Intimissimi On ice 2017 on Friday (October 6) in Verona, Italy.

With a look that dripped with seductive glamour, she donned an Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture glittery gown with a navy M2MALLETIER clutch.

The addition of the peekaboo bra underneath added another sultry lingerie-inspired element to the dress, which completely changed the vibe of the look.

You may remember that this dress was previously worn by Cara Delevingne, but each model wore it so differently that I barely noticed the repeat.

Did you like its second run?

Bella Hadid In Alexandre Vauthier Couture & Claudia Li – Rimowa Dinner & PFW Sighting

As Paris Fashion Week marches on, Bella Hadid has been making the rounds, first at a dinner hosted by Rimowa and Alexandre Arnault to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Rimowa’s iconic aluminum suitcase on Tuesday (September 26), then out and about in the city the next day (September 27).

Rimowa Dinner: This Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture suit had me at hello. I love the streamlined yet thoroughly sexy elegance of these tailored, menswear-inspired pieces—featuring the designer’s signature sharp shoulder—all softened a bit by the satin robe tie. The Roberi & Fraud sunglasses added a certain futuristic ‘Matrix’ glint to the look, with a trendy fanny pack to round it out.

Paris Fashion Week Sighting:
Parisian-chic had nothing on Bella, as she worked this sartorial mood in a Claudia Li Fall 2017 oversized coat, styled with shorts and Fendi earrings. Naturally, a very-French beret was necessary to top it off. There was a certain je ne sai quoi about this look, but I have a feeling some might also say it looks ill-fitting and as if she forgot to put her trousers on.
