Best Dressed Of The Week – Laura Vandervoort In Alex Perry, Zachary Quinto In Dior Homme & David Gandy In Dolce & Gabbana

Best Dressed Of The Week - Laura Vandervoort in Alex Perry, Zachary Quinto in Dior Homme & David Gandy in Dolce & Gabbana

Best dressed was a tight race between Nicole Kidman in Prada and Laura Vandervoort in Alex Perry, with Laura the eventual winner.

Some of you were shocked to see Laura take the lead as you felt there wasn’t anything particularly special about her LWD but, as pointed out, it’s the styling which took this look into another league.

When it came to the fellas you had a harder time picking a winner; Zachary Quinto in Dior Homme and David Gandy in Dolce & Gabbana tied with 36% of your votes.

I can see the dilemma. Zachary’s look was sleek and this was quite a different look for him, whereas David’s dapper three-piece suit had us swooning.

I eventually went for David.

Laura Vandervoort In Alex Perry – ‘Bitten’ Cannes Photocall

Laura Vandervoort In Alex Perry - 'Bitten' Cannes Photocall

Laura Vandervoort attended the photocall of TV series ‘Bitten’ at Mipcom in Cannes, France yesterday afternoon.

The gloomy weather didn’t dampen Laura’s spirits; she looked sensational wearing a sexy Alex Perry white bustier pencil dress which was beautiful alone, but the styling elevates the look into another dimension – yes, I’m crushing hard on this look.

She added a gold metal Lorena Sarbu belt, giving the look a futuristic edge, which matched her gold BCBG Max Azria heels, Kara Ackerman jewels and the pièce de résistance, a gold-and-black Emm Kuo ‘Ciggones’ mother-of-pearl clutch.

Sleek straight golden hair and a pop of red to the lips perfected her look.

Sandra Bullock In Alex Perry – ‘Gravity’ Venice Film Festival Photocall

Sandra Bullock In Alex Perry - 'Gravity' Venice Film Festival Photocall

Sandra Bullock was glowing as she took to the Palazzo del Casino in Italy for the ‘Gravity’ photocall during the 70th Venice International Film Festival this afternoon.

She wore a tri-colour Alex Perry Resort 2014 dress which is the most colour I have ever seen her wear.

The noir-dress-loving actress occasionally sidesteps out of her comfort zone by opting for purple and beige now and then; however, this is a hop, skip and a jump out of her comfort zone, and I couldn’t be more delighted.

If there is one place you can experiment fashion-wise it is a European film festival.

Natural wavy tresses and nude Giuseppe Zanotti sandals completed her look.

Jessica Chastain In Alex Perry – 2013 Giffoni Film Festival Portrait Session

Jessica Chastain In Alex Perry - 2013 Giffoni Film Festival Portrait Session

Jessica Chastain looks beautiful while posing for a portrait session during the 2013 Giffoni Film Festival on Sunday in Giffoni Valle Piana, Italy.

Having being presented the Giffoni Experience Award earlier in the day, she changed into this Alex Perry ‘Oksana’ dual-colour black-and-peach halter dress with an exposed front zipper from the Australian designer’s 75001 collection.

Those familiar with Alex Perry’s work will see that this sporty frock is a more youthful change of direction for the designer known for his bridal and special-occasion wear.

Not taking the colour palette of her dress into consideration, the actress styled her look with a pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Batignolles’ pumps, which are currently the go-to white heels – Miranda Kerr also wore them yesterday.

Ariel Winter In Alex Perry – 2013 SAG Awards

Ariel Winter In Alex Perry - 2013 SAG Awards

Ariel Winter joined her ‘Modern Family’ co-stars on the red carpet for the 2013 SAG Awards on Sunday evening in California.

Sadly her Alex Perry Spring 2013 gown didn’t work for me.

The gown needed to be sleeveless as the tulle sleeves are making the teenage star look a tad matronly.

With so much embroidered detail featuring on the bodice and sleeves, she should’ve considered a cute ballerina bun.

She can do so much better.
