Kiersey Clemons In Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition Couture – ‘Flatliners’ LA Premiere

Kiersey Clemons turned heads at the ‘Flatliners’ LA premiere on Wednesday (September 27) joining Nina Dobrev.

While Nina opted for ladylike white, Kiersey took a trip to the dark side with Alberta Ferretti Limited Edition Couture from Spring 2017. The singer-actress’s flowing bottoms combined elements of trousers and skirts. Her woven crop top was just as much of a conversation piece with its zigzag neckline and flared shape.

Preserving her modesty, Kiersey went with more coverage on top compared to the runway version. While making adjustments, I wish that the hybrid trousers had been shortened a few inches.

Kiersey continued the fashion-forward styling with black eye makeup.

amfAR Milano 2017

Beautiful babes lit up amfAR Milano 2017 on Thursday (September 21) wearing their most striking and varied ensembles.

Jourdan Dunn: Proving that shine and feathers aren’t needed to make an entrance, the model struck a pose in this bold Naeem Khan Fall 2017 gown. Wisely, she kept her styling simple to let all the abstract details on the dress be appreciated.

Alessandra Ambrosio: The Brazilian beauty’s Julien Macdonald Fall 2017 gown had lingerie leanings befitting a Victoria’s Secret supermodel. The triangle bikini top against the long sleeves is a strong contrast and makes me think this would have worked better as two separate dresses.

Julie Bowen In Alberta Ferretti Couture – 2017 Emmy Awards

Julie Bowen was intent on proving that black could be anything but boring at the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday night (September 17).

Her dress wasn’t boring, but I must say it stood out for the wrong reasons. I want to support the Alberta Ferretti Spring 2017 Couture gown, but I cannot get behind the detailing.

I enjoy the swirling volume of the ruffles, but it’s the placement that kills it for me. Additionally, the light fabric against the heavy velvet enhances the disjointed finish.

Had the ruffles been in the same fabric or placed across the body, it might have been more successful. Or, it would have worked better if the belt remained. I could even see a bustle being a better option. Thoughts?

E!, ELLE & IMG’s NYFW Kickoff Party Red Carpet Roundup

In addition to Tracee Ellis Ross, Kate Bosworth, and Gabrielle Union, a number of other lovelies showed up to the E!, ELLE & IMG’s NYFW Kickoff Party—A Celebration of Personal Style—on Wednesday (September 6) in New York City.

Nadine Leopold: The pyjama effect was not lost on Nadine, as she wore the loungewear-as-outerwear trend in this Alberta Ferretti Resort 2018 foliage-patterned ensemble. The effect came across as polished, thanks to her sleek styling that included Jenny Bird earrings and pointy pumps.

Hailey Baldwin: We’ve seen a few interpretations of boxy, mannish inspiration take hold in womenswear on the red carpet, and Hailey’s Toga Fall 2017 plaid suiting can be added to the list. But, leave it to Hailey to bring sexy appeal to the boxy look with her powder-blue Lonely ‘Lulu’ underwire bra. Even so, the brightness of her white pumps kept my gaze directed downwards; they were such an odd choice of footwear.

Olivia Culpo: The epidemic of the blinding white pumps continued in Olivia’s look, whereby they shouldn’t have appeared anywhere near this Carmen March Fall 2017 frilly polka-dot dress. Ankles up, it was such a fun, flirty look, so it’s a shame about the shoes.
