Annabelle Wallis In Alberta Ferretti – ‘The Mummy’ Madrid Premiere

Joining co-star Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis turned heads at ‘The Mummy’ Madrid premiere yesterday evening (May 29).

The actress opted for a black and gold Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 gown with the asymmetrical cut and long train as striking features, but it’s the birds and stars embroidered detailing that made it such a unique, eye-catching piece.

This look needed nothing else, so the actress complimented the look with her hair up, natural makeup and no accessories.

Connie Nielsen In Alberta Ferretti – ‘Wonder Woman’ LA Premiere

Connie Nielsen attended the star studded ‘Wonder Woman’ LA premiere on Thursday (May 25).

The actress opted to wear a full-length, flowy Alberta Ferretti dress which may be considered modest, but the V-neckline and the single shoulder aspect ensure the dress is not boring or old-fashioned.

Wearing her hair in a simple updo and minimal accessories really works in her favour.

What we loved most about this dress is the illusion neckline – yes, there is one.

Further proof that it can be done correctly if the right skill and quality tulle fabric is used.

‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

More fashionable femmes—specifically, the model set—were out in force for ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes Film Festival premiere on Wednesday (May 24).

Cindy Bruna
: The French model stunned in a Georges Hobeika Couture petal-pink gown enlightened with allover glimmering embellishment. While the top was rather sheer, I was still taken by the gorgeous swoop of the undulating train, with Cindy of course striking the ultimate pose to breathe additional life into the dress.

Jasmine Tookes
: Subtly shaded in lavender, this Georges Chakra Spring 2017 Couture gown maintained the epitome of classic sophistication. I love the one-shoulder silhouette’s fresh, modern edge that was primarily imbued by the wrapped panels. Jimmy Choo heels and Boucheron jewels completed the effect that may have been on the more minimal side for Cannes but still made a mighty impact.

‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

More stars took to the red carpet for the 2017 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and premiere of ‘Ismael’s Ghosts (Les Fantomes d’Ismael)’ on Wednesday (May 17).

Lily-Rose Depp: Her creamy-white Chanel dress had something of a Grecian goddess vibe. She embraced the embellishment by styling the look with gold Chanel Fine Jewelry and Gianvito Rossi ‘Portofino’ sandals

Charlotte Gainsbourg: Like Robin Wright, Charlotte dared to go short in a Saint Laurent silver-studded mini. Was it a chic, fun look? Sure. Was it right for opening night? I’m not convinced.

Eva Herzigova: More metallic came out to play in Eva’s Roberto Cavalli Couture gold-flecked gown that was a stunning way to see the designer represented at Cannes. A Roberto Cavalli Spring 2017 antique gold leather clutch, Roberto Cavalli Resort 2018 platinum sandals and Chopard jewels completed the dazzling look.

Final Sweep Of The 2017 Met Gala Red Carpet

As you know when it comes to the Met Gala, we always – as impossible as the task is – try to feature everyone.

We don’t intend to leave anyone out, nor do we intend to disrespect anyone.

So here is the final sweep from Monday’s event.

As this is very last post, leave your top 10 in the comments.

Deepika Padukone: I was kicking myself for not spotting Deepika on Monday night. The Bollywood beauty looked breath-taking wearing a bias-cut Tommy Hilfiger design enriched with silver embroidery. Some might say the gown is too simple, but the accessories really help bring the look to life.

Tracee Ellie Ross: The ‘Black-ish’ star wore an avant-garde cobalt-blue Comme des Garçons creation, which I’m sure many of you would’ve expected Solange to wear. There is so much beauty in this off-centered design. I wish more had been brave enough to wear Comme des Garçons at this event.

Models @ The 2017 Met Gala

The models had their moment at the 2017 Met Gala on Monday (May 1) in New York City. Here, a look at how they made the night’s blue carpet their catwalk.

Bella Hadid: We’ve heard of the naked dress, but Bella had the naked jumpsuit of the evening in this sheer mesh Alexander Wang number that left precious little to the imagination.

Gigi Hadid: Her sister may have opted for the naked look, but Gigi just went plain nude in this sweeping Tommy Hilfiger gown—her version of a princess dress—that combined architectural tailoring with romantic femininity. To add an edge, Wolford fishnets did the trick for her leg jut that was likewise accessorised by Christian Louboutin heels.
