Renata Kuerten In Alberta Ferretti & Mugler – ‘The Shape Of Water’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Vanity Fair Party

Aside from Rebecca Hall, the other person who has impressed me the most during Venice Film Festival is Renata Kuerten.

‘The Shape Of Water’ Venice Film Festival Premiere: The Brazilian model glided down the red carpet wearing an angelic Alberta Ferretti gown which I’m sure will captured the hearts and imaginations of you modern romantics. I deliberately chose this picture as the billow-as-she-walked added some dramatic action to the look.

Vanity Fair ‘So Wonderful’ Party: In totally contrast her Mugler Spring 2017 look had fashion forward futuristic feel, which was artistically cut to showcase her powerful feminine figure. My only nitpick were the shoes. They feel dated and in total contrast with her look.

Izabel Goulart & Isabeli Fontana bring Alberta Ferretti’s Days-of-the-Week sweaters to Venice Film Festival

The rise of statement-making knitwear drew out Alberta Ferretti’s witty side for her Pre-Fall 2017 ‘Rainbow Week’ collection.

Izabel Goulart nailed her look by wearing her sweater on Thursday for ‘The Shape Of Water’ Venice Film Festival premiere yesterday, Isabeli Fontana proved you don’t have to wait for the right weekday to whip out this luxurious wool and cashmere-blend sweater.

Both styled their looks with bedazzling Swarovski mini skirts, Chopard jewels and black footwear.

While I prefer Izabel’s Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, Isabeli’s emerald earrings make up for the uninspiring pumps. Call me crazy, but I actually prefer this over her previous red carpet look.

Celebrating the day of the week has never as such high fashion vigour.

Gigi Hadid or Diane Kruger have both been spotted celebrating Thursday.

‘Downsizing’ Venice Film Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the rest of the looks from tonight’s opening ceremony for the 2017 Venice Film Festival.

Renata Kuerten: The Brazilian model showed how you bring the magic and drama of a European Film Festival in Alberta Ferretti. This feathered Fall 2017 gown was perfection from head-to-toe.

Greta Scarano: The Italian actress also selected Alberta Ferretti, sweeping the red carpet in a lighter than air sheer number styled with matching satin Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Crivelli jewels.  This is what red carpet fairytales are made of.

Isabeli Fontana In Alberta Ferretti – ‘Downsizing’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Having officially opened the 74th Venice Film Festival on Tuesday, Isabeli Fontana was back on the red carpet for the ‘Downsizing’ premiere which also served as the opening ceremony.

My immediate feeling on this custom Alberta Ferretti gown – inspired by the Fall 2017 collection – was: underwhelming.

I tried to seek solace in the embellished bodice and sapphire jewels, which tried to imbue some glamour into this look, but the gown feels too lackluster for such an event.

Perhaps a different hairstyle would’ve changed my overall feeling.

Isabeli Fontana In Alberta Ferretti – 2017 Venice Film Festival Photocall

Isabeli Fontana was seen frolicking on the beach at the Excelsior Hotel in Venice, Italy on Tuesday (August 29) which can only mean one thing: the 2017 Venice Film Festival is upon us.

The Brazilian model glided down the beach giving her sartorial ode to Venice wearing a Grand Canal–print Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 chiffon dress.

This couldn’t have been a more picture perfect moment.

Fan Bingbing In Alberta Ferretti Couture & Zuhair Murad Couture – De Beers Party

Amongst the hustle and bustle of Couture Week, De Beers hosted a party in Paris on Tuesday (July 4) with guest of honour Fan Bingbing decked out in the host jewels.

The Asian beauty’s red carpet looks always make my heart skip several beats, and these two looks are no exception.

On the left we have classic Bingbing; prim and glamorous in radiant red Alberta Ferretti Spring 2017 Couture with a plump red lip to match.

Then we see her colour outside her princess box wearing a dynamic Zuhair Murad Spring 2017 Couture embellished gown with the daring slit to the upper thigh providing out-of-character, sultry touch.

These looks are better than her Cannes offerings I’m sure you are saying. As both BDOTW worthy, which would you choose?
