Anna Kendrick was in Tokyo today to promote her film “Up in the Air”.

The actress who’s had an amazing awards season, didn’t take a style break at this event.

Having worn so many gowns recently she opted for a very simple baby-blue Alberta Ferretti silk bustier dress which she wore with a tan belt.

Her dress is perfect for spring and I just love her Sergio Rossi scalloped slingback pumps which matched her baby blue dress.

Jennifer Aniston looks very sexy as she gets close to Gerard Butler on the cover of W Magazine’s April 2010 issue, which must mean she has a movie to promote – “The Bounty Hunter”.

The spread was shot at a ranch outside LA by Steven Klein, he who shot Brad and Angelina’s infamous ‘domestic bliss’ editorial for the magazine in 2005.

This one is titled “Speed Trap” which sees Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler role playing in the searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.

Jen does look gorgeous wearing an Alberta Ferretti Spring 2010 silk chiffon dress paired with a Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture bra, Stella McCartney’s garters and Lanvin shoes.

See more of Jen and Gerard’s photo shoot at WMagazine.com, and you can read the Editor’s blog which gives an insight into the inspiration behind the shoot.

Jenni Falconer walked the red carpet at “The Prince’s Trust Celebrate Success Awards” in London yesterday.

The GMTV presenter who wears an even mix of high-street and high-end, this time opted for an Alberta Ferretti Pre-Fall 2009 dress.

Her blue floral Alberta Ferretti cap sleeved silk dress was paired with tights and black heels.

It was a fairly mild day in London yesterday, so Jenni could really have ditched the tights to add more of a spring time feel to her look.

You may remember that Sandra Bullock wore this same dress back in June on the Today Show with Matt Lauer.

Alberta Ferretti’s Fall 2010 presentation on Friday was magical with each look more beautiful than the previous.

The colour palette was muted with greys, nudes, teals, and black, but this allowed the exquisite details to stand out.

What I noticed whilst watching the presentation was the embellished sleeves on some of the dresses were actually two pieces in one. So don’t be surprised if you see an actress walking the red carpet with one of these looks sans embellished sleeves.

The gowns were exquisite.

The Magpie in me loved the embellished gowns, but my heart belonged to the nude embroidered lace gown with silk trims on the skirt.

I was happy to see Rachel Zoe in the front row, who was no doubt looking for Oscar gowns.

At the end I asked her what she thought of the presentation. She said, “many potential red carpet dresses”, much to my delight as so many deserve red carpet moments.

She had a lot to choose from.

A taupe chiffon gown with an embellished neckline, an amazing black tulle gown with a nude underlay, a blue drop-waist gown with double black sash accents plus embellished details and many many more.

I envy her job.

The coats were just as elegant as the gowns. I really liked the fur trims and the stand out green cape.

From my front row seat was very lucky to capture a close up of the embroidered ankle boots each of the models wore. Some were also embellished with rhinestones.

I love this video as you can see how beautifully those gowns will move on Oscar night…fingers crossed.

The first thing I noticed when I looked at this picture of Sandra Bullock with Meredith Vieira on the “Today Show” was “WOW…how does she walk in those 6in pin heels?”

I’d be like Bambi on ice trying to look gracious walking in those heels.

The next thing I noticed was her beautiful Alberta Ferretti Resort 2010 dress.

The black and salmon dress is perfect for a day time show.

It’s simple yet not too boring, and sophisticated without being too formal.

Some of you are saying that you find Sandra’s look boring, but I think she’s come a long way.

I’m personally loving the new Sandra.

Please be upstanding, the Queen is back.

Cate Blanchett is currently in Tokyo to promote her favorite brand of skincare, SKII.

We’ve been picking Armani Prive Spring 2010 wish lists for Cate, but on this occasion she joined Asian celebrities on stage wearing a jeweled red silk Alberta Ferretti Fall 2009 dress.

The colour really pops, and I’m grateful that she opted for the red instead of the black.

The high neckline elongates her even more.

I love the quiff, but I’m a tad disappointed that the split in her dress which revealed the tops of the tights.

This is why I hate tights, they ruin everything. j/k

Later in the evening a dinner party was held in Cate’s honour and it was here she floors me.

The actress was breath-taking wearing a Chanel dress from the Chanel Paris-Shanghai Métiers D’Arts Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

Her black organza gown is exquisite with the gold trims and floral embroidered details.

Gold heels, diamond earrings and simple make-up complete the look.

Between seeing Dita yesterday and Cate in these pictures, I’ve reached my perfection quota for the month.

BDOTW contender. I’m predicting a 3 clothes-horse race.

Hayden Panettiere was in New York last night for the “Temple Grandin” premiere.

The star wore a lilac Alberta Ferretti Spring 2010 floaty chiffon dress, with had an indigo floral embroidered detail cascading down one side of her dress.

Hayden wore sheer flesh coloured tights – see it is possible people – and cream pumps.

I was surprised to see Hayden with her hair tightly pulled back, as I thought she would’ve wanted to show off her new red ‘do.  But maybe she’s not loving the new colour.

Never the less the hairstyle works with the look which is complete with a cream clutch.
