Louise Roe In ADEAM – 2017 Emmy Awards

Looking like a yummy mummy (to be), Louise Roe showed off her expanding growing belly at the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

The presenter has been favouring a lot of black since first debuting her baby bump and kept the theme up at tonight’s award show with an ADEAM Fall 2017 ensemble.

The dark hue and lace panels had a nod to Victoriana, but the deep V-neckline and waist peplum are au courant. The silhouette is refreshing in comparison to the typical Grecian gowns we see mamas-to-be wear—in fact, it’s also a standout compared to the standard red carpet shapes.

2017 Fragrance Foundation Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Karlie Kloss and Katie Holmes were joined by more fashionable femmes at the 2017 Fragrance Foundation Awards on Wednesday (June 14) in New York City.

Elsa Hosk: Far from the standard black dress, this Romona Keveža design delivered minimalist flair with maximal impact. I love how the diaphanous, sheer asymmetric skirt overlay turned this mini into an elegantly romantic statement.

Lais Ribeiro
: With a haute hybrid mix between jumpsuit and gown, this custom Thai Nguyen Atelier creation had an element of intrigue that was fascinating indeed. Not only was it streamlined, it had the embellished sizzle to set any magpie into full-on envy mode. The plunge neckline was perhaps a bit too wide and low, so that’s the only thing I would have modified slightly.

Angela Sarafyan In ADEAM – Catch LA Restaurant

Angela Sarafyan was spotted outside the Catch LA restaurant on Wednesday night (June 7) in a monochrome check two piece.

Transforming the Fall 2015 Adeam look into a summer outfit, Angela complemented her look with simple black stilettos and a Edie Parker ‘Flavia’ clutch.

At first I was longing to have seen her add more colour in her accessories, or to have styled her hair in an updo for a sleeker finish, but maybe its the lack of makeup I’m really missing here.

14th Annual Inspiration Awards

A trio of starlets held court at the 14th annual Inspiration Awards on Friday (June 2) in Beverly Hills, California.

Lea Michele: The crispness of the white floral stencil patterning in this Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2017 cutout dress caught my eye. However, I would have far better appreciated it on Lea sans so much liberal use of bronzer—and with a sleek bun.

January Jones: Taking her look down more playful territory, January wore a Christopher Bu Spring 2017 striped dress paired back to a Christopher Bu Resort 2017 kitschy, embroidered blazer. Her ribbon-tied ponytail along with a coral lip completed the cute ratio, but it still didn’t quite add up for me.

Yara Shahidi: At first, Yara’s ADEAM Spring 2016 shirt dress may seem more on the plain Jane side. But, she wore it with such panache—sleeves rolled up and styled with Tamara Mellon ‘Reverse Frontline’ shoes and John Hardy jewels—that I quickly warmed to the look. Also, I love that you can see the split shoulder detail.

Camilla Bella In ADEAM – ADEAM’s 5 year Anniversary Event

Camilla Belle attended ADEAM’s 5 Year Anniversary Event at the Gallery of Horyuji Treasures at the Tokyo National Museum in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday (April 13).

Paying homage to ADEAM designer Hanako Maeda with Victorian-rebel flair, she donned an ADEAM Fall 2017 look that featured the whimsy of a balloon-sleeved shirt dress.

The cornflower-blue hue is an enchanting colour on her alabaster skin tone.

But, I also love how she made the look her own, styling it in a streamlined fashion with skinny black pants and feminine wedge heels, while exchanging the choker for drop earrings.

Olivia Culpo In Adeam – Out In LA

Olivia Culpo was spotted out in West Hollywood on Wednesday (April 5) wearing an Adeam Resort 2017 red and white collared bustier top and drawstring parachute skirt, which will no doubt restart the fashion star/fashion victim debate.

While those in fashion victim camp might argue this look appears to be made from the leftovers of the Von Trapp family’s drapes, I would argue that she’s like a breath of fresh air.

When it comes to out and about style, athleisure is all the rage.

I am also guilty of hopping on this trends as I’m known to live in my Lucas Hugh or Lululemon outfits, which is why Olivia’s looks is so inspiring.

The look is unique, intriguing and thankfully not treading down the well worn sheer path.

Personally, I think we should be celebrating those who dare to be different.
