‘Sweetbitter’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Lovely ladies were in attendance at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of ‘Sweetbitter’ on Thursday (April 26) in New York City.

Zosia Mamet: The former ‘Girls’ star was outfitted in a sweet Miu Miu Spring 2018 number. It was a more casual look compared to some of the other options but the fact didn’t completely dampen the playful feel of the printed style and embellished shoes. If this was a screening, it would have been better suited.

Ella Purnell: A dress made to be seen from all angles, she was in a hybrid Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 style which fused a timeless black dress with a mini style in the house’s signature tweed fabric. With such extremes in the skirts, many might find it too disjointed. It was more successful when seen from the side rather than straight on. It was also wise to remove the embellished buckle from the runway.

2018 Tribeca Film Festival Women Filmmakers Luncheon

The Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Women Filmmakers Luncheon was held on Friday (April 20) in New York City, with two leading ladies in attendance.

Sarah Jessica Parker: As the event was in partnership with Chanel, I wasn’t surprised to see SJP wearing a Chanel jacket and cross-body bag. I love how she injected the iconic tweed piece with a certain boho-meets-uptown spirit in the bell-sleeve blouse, skinny denim and pointy pumps.

Zosia Mamet: Also opting for a jacket and jeans approach, Zosia donned a Chanel Pre-Fall 2018 navy and grey wool drill jacket with obvious military influences. So, I was glad to see her distressed jeans lightening the stricter mood with Chanel Fine Jewelry, Chanel shoes, and a Chanel bag to complete the look that was a successfully put-together one for Zosia.

‘Black Panther’ New York Screening Red Carpet Roundup

More ladies joined Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira for the final leg of the ‘Black Panther’ promo tour at the film’s New York screening on Tuesday (February 13).

Joan Smalls: In a head-to-toe Tom Ford Spring 2018 look, the model was giving us a power suit—done in such an alluring, modern way with the jumpsuit and blazer combo. I loved the subtle seduction of this look, with the pink toe-cap heels to add an element of sass.

Letitia Wright: The patchwork, folk-rock influences of the COACH Pre-Fall 2018 collection were loud and proud in this eclectic mashup of a look that is a bit of an acquired taste in its completely disparate, quirky pieces. I’m still trying to find the rhyme and reason to it.

Zosia Mamet: I liked the styling of this Monse Spring 2018 cropped sweater on the runway, with the fringed skirt. With the windowpane, super-long trousers, it made less sense. David Yurman jewels completed the look that had me wishing for a more cohesive flourish to round out the screening.

Zosia Mamet In Maggie Marilyn – ‘Phantom Thread’ New York Premiere

Zosia Mamet has had a number of splendid looks of late and she continued her roll at the ‘Phantom Thread’ New York premiere on Monday (December 11).

The former ‘Girls’ star wore a Maggie Marilyn Pre-Fall 2018 white dress. The puff shoulders of the ensemble balanced the nipped waist for a feminine take on the traditional double-breasted jacket.

She toughened up the look with a pair of black suede ankle boots while red lipstick provided a joyful pop of colour.

2017 Whitney Art Party Red Carpet Roundup

In addition to Nina Dobrev and Hilary Rhoda, there were more pretties on the scene at the 2017 Whitney Art Party on Tuesday (November 14) in New York City.

Leigh Lezark: This Monse Resort 2018 ensemble is such a signature mix of masculine and feminine inspirations that you will likely remember Fan Bingbing wearing it, as well. However, I like Leigh’s effortless variation on it with the red sandals and cool-girl attitude.

Zosia Mamet: Zosia’s style continues to evolve—and I continue to become more impressed with the level of polish. This Monse Fall 2017 ensemble styled with Wolford ‘Pure 50’ tights was so directionally edgy for the ‘Girls’ actress whilst maintaining a sense of modern refinement. I like how every detail—from the necklaces to the grommet belt and booties—feels well thought-out and rightfully placed without being overcooked.

Natasha Poly: I found the model’s Monse Spring 2018 ensemble so intriguing for the sassy-romantic drape of the top juxtaposed with the distressed, cropped denim for a thoroughly different take on modern femininity that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
