Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Jimmy Choo 1Even more beauties came out to support Jimmy Choo’s exclusive launch party for CHOO.08˚, hosted by the label’s creative director, Sandra Choi, on Tuesday (April 15) in Beverly Hills, California. Here, a roundup of their Choo-infused looks.

January Jones: Opting for an all-black look, the ‘Mad Men’ actress enlivened the monochrome with Jimmy Choo ‘Hammer’ platform sandals, a punchy Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ message clutch and a bright red lip. With just a few too many layers of mismatched black—and a few unfortunate creases in the tunic—I couldn’t fully get behind this look.

Jordana Brewster: Exuding effortlessly on-trend style, Jordana wore a Kate Spade Saturday sleeveless crop top, Monique Lhuillier Resort 2013 cobalt blue trousers, Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps and artsy Emm Kuo box clutch. Of course, I loved the intense blue colour of her pants, not to mention the pop of that bubblegum-pink lip.

Zooey Deschanel for Tommy Hilfiger Collection Launch Event

Zooey Deschanel co-hosted an event with Tommy Hilfiger to debut their new co-designed capsule collection at The London Hotel on Wednesday (April 9) in West Hollywood, California.
Judging by this trio, there is plenty of colour to be had, including the designer’s favoured red, white and blue.

Zooey Deschanel: The tights-loving actress wore a retro-style sleeveless collared fitted dress with a patterned bodice and rounded collar. I love how Zooey picked the perfect piece to complement her style, but the styling – especially the tights (navy would’ve been preferred) – doesn’t work for me.

Hannah Simone: Wearing a mini style incorporating the brand’s favoured colours, Hannah was one of the few to get it right from head to toe. I love the fringe detailing and nautical influences which include the yacht-esque red and blue sails. White pumps with a red toecap perfected this look.

Marie Claire's Fresh Faces Party

There were plenty more lovely starlets who attended Marie Claire’s Fresh Faces Party, held at Soho House on Tuesday (April 8) in West Hollywood, California.

Naya Rivera: Inspiring us to get back into the gym, the ‘Glee’ actress donned a Philosophy ivory top slashed to reveal a bralet and midriff, which she wore with black cropped trousers. I can’t say I’m a fan of this look. I feel like she’s trying to make a statement, but the look is coming off as trying too hard.

Mena Suvari: One of my favourites from this event, Mena wore a flirty Sachin + Babi crop top with a floral lattice embroidered maxi skirt, which she styled with not only a coral Edie Parker clutch but also floral Dolce & Gabbana sandals and a trendy ear cuff courtesy of Graziela Gems.

Zoey Deutch: Opting for a bright-red-hued Alexander Wang Lattice back apron dress, the simple silhouette of her look wasn’t diluted by her clear perspex Charlotte Olympia clutch or her Alexander Wang ‘Alla’ open open-toe wedges which gave the look a tougher edge.

Zoey Deutch In Osman - Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2014Zoey Deutch breezed onto the carpet at the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, which took place at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night (March 29).

Following in the footsteps of the fresh and fun fashion vibe of the event, the ‘Vampire Academy’ starlet sported an Osman Spring 2014 ensemble. The top-and-shorts matching set once again showed the London designer’s mastery of low-key luxe.

With the repeating, sepia-tinged tree print creating a sense of whimsy, Zoey’s tousled locks and warm, desert-hued makeup further articulated the youthful, yet chic spirit.

A simple black Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch and ankle-strap sandals finished the look.

Sandro Private Dinner

Sandro took their Parisian wares to LA to host a dinner party at the Chateau Marmont on Thursday (March 20) in Los Angeles, California.

Zoey Deutch: Opting for one of the ultra-girlie pieces, the young actress wore a Sandro ‘Rodeo’ sheer textured navy dress featuring a white collar which was both playful and chic. Bionda Castana ‘Langley’ black suede caged platform heels gave the look an edge.

Annabelle Wallis: The actress selected a bold red Sandro ‘Virgule’ jacket and ‘Poison’ trousers, which she opted to wear with a low-cut top to purposely showcase her black bra. Why? I have no idea. My guess is that she thought it was sexy.

Jena Malone: Polishing an airy silhouette with a fashionable print, Jena’s Sandro ‘Etonnate’ dot-and-paisley silk blouse with a lace panel on each sleeve brims with modern femininity. Instead of going the ladylike route, Jena gave the look an edge with a leather mini skirt, knee-high socks and platform leather zipper pumps.
