Front Row @ Tory Burch Fall 2018

The front row at Tory Burch’s Fall 2018 presentation was a lovely collection of stars who showed up in support of the designer during New York Fashion Week on Friday (February 9).

Julianne Moore: As the actress favours black, this Tory Burch Pre-Fall 2018 ensemble offered a quirky remix of the hue with the colour-block pants. I love the warm tones with her auburn hair, but the dragging hem of the pants does give me pause.

Zoey Deutch: As if she was coming from another era, Zoey celebrated the best of vintage-inspired modernity with this belted trench coat. I love the inherent ladylikeness of the ensemble that balanced a delicate sense of charm with strong sophistication. The oxblood bag and shoes were likewise a compelling way to add depth and drama to the look.

Sienna Miller: With a colour palette that reflected Julianne’s pants, Sienna’s Tory Burch Pre-Fall 2018 dress was topped with a cozy, furry coat. It certainly played into her boho sensibility, especially given the slightly unkempt styling with her fringe bag and slides. I cannot fault the coat, as I’d be wearing one, too, to stay warm in NYC’s brisk temps. But I did want to see more of the dress underneath.

2018 Golden Globe Awards Parties

The 2018 Golden Globe Awards were a study in many glamorous renditions of the colour black. And, for the most part, the Globes after parties followed suit with the hue taking on all measures of late-night allure.

Diane Kruger: After a regally glamorous entrance at the Globes, Diane was at the InStyle and Warner Bros. post-party, where she imbued black, cropped trousers with a bit of creamy lace in this Alexander McQueen Spring 2018 ensemble. I have a feeling that the tattered, asymmetrical effect of the lace bustier top will turn some away from the more experimental look.

Tessa Thompson: At HBO’s official after party in LA, Tessa suited up in an Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2017 Couture menswear-inspired look that delivered plenty of intriguing edge when styled with the MATEO jewelry and bauble-accented sandals. I was happy for the sheer shirting underneath to balance the boxier shape of the tuxedo blazer.

Nina Dobrev: The actress flaunted her toned abs at the InStyle party in this Ralph Lauren cutout gown. Even with the futuristic liquid-silver paneling, something about the look read a bit dated. Alexis Bittar choker completed her look.

Dior @ W Magazine Celebrates Its ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio

W Magazine’s Celebration of its ‘Best Performances’ Portfolio on Thursday (January 4) in Los Angeles had a myriad of spellbinding looks, but there were a few attendees who showed their support for Dior.

Eiza Gonzalez: The Mexican beauty oozed sophistication in a Dior Fall 2018 navy embroidered velvet dress. I love how the belted style was given a magical makeover with the constellation detail dancing across the skirt. Her lack of jewellery allowed the pattern to shine.

Zoey Deutch In Tory Burch – The Hollywood Reporter’s 2017 Women In Entertainment Breakfast

Zoey Deutch joined Jennifer Lawrence for The Hollywood Reporter’s 2017 Women In Entertainment Breakfast on Wednesday (December 6) in Hollywood, California.

Whereas Jennifer took a light, diaphanous approach, Zoey opted for a far more decorative—some might say heavy—ensemble grounded by the floral-metallic Tory Burch ‘Thelma’ coat.

There is no question the coat featured a beautifully elaborate motif—and was completely appropriate for the richness of the fall season.

I just found the entire look to be on a bif of the mature side for Zoey, especially with the conservatively structured Tory Burch ‘Juliette’ satchel to finish it off.

Zoey Deutch In Valentino – The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen 2017

Zoey Deutch joined Yara Shahidi for The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Generation 2017 celebration on Wednesday (November 8) in LA.

The actress ensured a playful mood in this Valentino Resort 2018 printed frock with cheeky lipstick-red references.

I like the modifications seen here, with the shorter length and removal of the pink accents for a simpler take on modern girlishness.

Loose waves and rosy makeup completed the look in top PYT form.

End Of The Week Red Carpet Roundup

There were so many looks this week, that we’re going to cram them into this final post.

Josephine De La Baume: Attending the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere, the French actress opted to infuse her red carpet style with high-voltage seduction courtesy of this Self-Portrait devore mini dress from the Fall 2017 collection. I’m not usually a big fan of platform shoes, but I find myself buying what she’s selling as these Miu Miu Mary Janes add a playful vibe.

Martha Hunt: I love the fashion forward feel of this Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh black cropped blazer and sequin dress from the Fall 2017 collection with simple black pumps. Worn to the World of Children Awards, this was a truly intriguing look I have to say.

Ajak Deng: This saffron yellow Roksanda ‘Tamiko’ jumpsuit from the Fall 2017 collection gave me so much joy at the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ world premiere. I love the relaxed nature of it all with the chunky heels adding a utilitarian flavour.

Zoey Deutch In Miu Miu – ‘Molly’s Game’ Savannah Film Festival Screening

Zoey Deutch attended the opening night screening of ‘Molly’s Game’ during the 20th Anniversary SCAD Savannah Film Festival on Saturday (October 28) in Savannah, Georgia.

Because of her fondness for black, her style is occasionally seen as edgy, however on this occasion in Miu Miu she was utterly charming.

I love the sweet, feminine cut of the dress, plus the shimmering embellishments.

Some might regard this as too twee for Zoey, but I like how this feels fresh and new for Zoey; because with this look she keeps in line with the label’s girly aesthetic.
