Zhang Ziyi In Elie Saab Couture - 'La Venus a La Fourrure' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Zhang Ziyi also wore a dramatic gown with more coverage on the red carpet this evening for the ‘La Venus a la Fourrure’ premiere during Cannes Film Festival.

The Asian beauty looked heavenly wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture look, which is the third look from this collection that I can check off my wish list.

The breathtaking lilac fully embellished gown with three-quarter length sleeves was accented with a tonal leather belt.

Opting to utilize the pockets on her gown, she opted to go sans clutch, completing her look with Boucheron jewels and an Omega watch.

Beautywise – flawless.

I love that she ended with a princess moment. No one serves you better for this moment than Mr. Saab.

Zhang Ziyi In Giambattista Valli Couture - amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala

Zhang Ziyi took to the red carpet again this evening for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France.

She wore a Giambattista Valli Spring 2013 Couture zebra print dress with a tulle black skirt draping from the peplum-like detail.

I was trying to figure out what was bothering me about the look — then I realised it was the skirt.

The black tulle skirt was equally distributed on the runway, but stops short at the front on Zhang, losing some of the allure of the runway piece as Zhang’s resembles a mullet dress.

Mouawad fine jewelery, Ferragamo black peep-toes with gold piping and a black clutch completed her look.

Zhang Ziyi In Chanel Couture - 'Only God Forgives' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Zhang Ziyi, who is one of the jury members of this event, seems to be doing a good job filling the void left by her fellow jury member Nicole Kidman (where is she?).

The Asian beauty stunned wearing a Chanel gown from the Fall 2009 collection this evening on the red carpet for the ‘Only God Forgives’ Cannes Film Festival premiere.

Her strapless organza gown, fully embroidered with gold-and-black sequins, also features a flowing chiffon train and satin bow accent around the waist.

Many looks from this collection to hit the red carpet appeared sans train, but this is Cannes — a train is almost a red carpet prerequisite.

Impeccable styling, as we’ve come to expect, included Chanel Joallierie jewels, a Ferragamo ‘Faberge’ egg clutch and Jimmy Choo black peep-toes.

Barely there makeup and a simple bun completed her look.

Do you like the train, or does it feel like an after-thought?

Zhang Ziyi In Valentino Couture - ‘Un Certain Regard’ Jury Dinner

Zhang Ziyi, like many other actresses, continues to shine during Cannes Film Festival.

She was spotted leaving the ‘Un Certain Regard’ jury dinner this weekend wearing a stunning Valentino Spring 2013 Couture dress.

The white sheer-and-lace dress freckled with appliqués was elegantly styled with blush satin Ferragamo pumps and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

I love the addition of the gold belt, which defines the waist and changes the dynamic of the look, as do the rolled-up sleeves.

Pops of red via her lips and nails, plus a divine pair of flower earrings, completed her look.

Zhang Yuqi In Roberto Cavalli & Monique Lhuillier - Cannes Film Festival Premieres

Zhang Yuqi had another busy night during Cannes Film Festival, giving us two more great looks; both were strapless.

‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ Premiere: Early in the evening, she donned a heavenly Roberto Cavalli white mermaid gown featuring a tiered train and fitted bodice. Sweeping her hair to one side, she completed her look with a gold Sergio Rossi clutch and diamond bracelet.

‘Blind Detective’ Premiere: Later that same evening, the Asian beauty, who is fast becoming my favourite newcomer at this event, wore a Monique Lhuillier gown from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection. The strapless gown has that distinctive print we’ve seen worn by Blake Lively and Naomie Harris. On this occasion she braided her glossy tresses, opting to go hands free and styling her look with dangling gold earrings.

The Cavalli is my favourite here. It’s always a delight to see Cavalli Cannes gowns on the red carpet.
