Zendaya Coleman In Emanuel Ungaro – 2014 Grammy Awards

ZendayaColemanInEmanuelUngaro2014GrammyAwards

Zendaya Coleman walked the red carpet at the 2014 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 26).

The singer/actress wore a skirt and blouse combination from Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2014.

Zendaya looked perfectly on-trend in a sheer black blouse with oversized pockets, which she wore all buttoned up. The sophisticated top was paired with an airy teal and black polka dotted skirt. She completed her red carpet look with minimalist black heels and a box clutch

For beauty, Zendaya wore her hair up with a sultry smokey eye and nude lip.

This top and skirt look is not typical for an award ceremony, but I thought the look was playful and fresh. Do you agree?

Zendaya Coleman In Gucci – Friends ‘N’ Family 17th Annual Pre-Grammy Party

Zendaya Coleman In Gucci - Friends 'N' Family 17th Annual Pre-Grammy Party

Zendaya Coleman attended the Friends ‘N’ Family 17th Annual Pre-Grammy Party at Park Plaza Hotel on Friday (January 24) in Los Angeles, California.

The singer wore a rust metallic Gucci Resort 2014 look featuring a liquid lamé deconstructed jacket, tank top and jogging pants over the loose-fit pants presented in the lookbook.

Giving her look a chic edge, she added red tinted Gucci shades, John Hardy rings and gold Ruthie Davis sandals with a cream python Oroton ‘Odeion’ clutch rounding out her look.

You may remember that Miroslava Duma wore this same look earlier this week with the loose-fit pants.

Zendaya Coleman In Donna Karan – 2013 American Music Awards

2013AMA_ZendayaColeman

Zendaya Coleman commanded the red carpet at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday evening at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The Disney starlet put her own spin on an all-white look from Donna Karan’s Resort 2014 collection, edging up the long and languid, one-shoulder tunic top and white pants with a number of extensions—literally. Let us count the ways.

First she loaded on the silver bangles, along with a serpent arm bracelet, and a few door-knocker cocktail rings for good measure. A Swarovski clutch added even more sparkle.

Then, she strapped on an incarnation of the so-called stripper heels with a towering, silver pair. But the real accessory were her mega-long, board-straight locks that had Rapunzel written all of them.

She’s young; this is fun; and she can get away with it—for now. So why not. Do you agree?

Zendaya Coleman in Chloé – ‘Black Nativity’ New York Premiere

Zendaya Coleman in Chloé - 'Black Nativity' New York Premiere

Zendaya Coleman attended the ‘Black Nativity’ premiere at the Apollo Theater in New York City yesterday evening.

While I was fan of her last look, this one doesn’t quite do it for me.

She wore a black, sleeveless turtleneck crop top with a white polka-dot tulle skirt from Chloé Fall 2013, which she styled with a Veinarde biker jacket and turquoise Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ patent pumps.

As you may remember, this skirt has been previously worn by both Olivia Palermo and Zhang Ziyi, and not with much positive review.

On Zendaya, it seems like the styling was supposed to be a play on sweet versus tough, but it comes off as a bit too contrived and clunky instead. Perhaps a shorter jacket length and sandal would have lent some lightness to the look.

What do you think — did she wear this Chloé skirt better than Olivia Palermo and Zhang Ziyi, or should this article of clothing be retired once and for all?

Zendaya Coleman In DKNY – Instagram

Zendaya Coleman In DKNY - Instagram

Yesterday morning Zendaya Coleman posted a picture on her Instagram which she titled, ‘Morning Fierceness’, and I have to agree.

There is nothing more beautiful than bright yellow and black for an awesomely striking colour combination, and she works it to perfection here.

Her DKNY yellow button-down, front-pocket blouse was styled with DKNY wide-leg black pants with a yellow tuxedo stripe.

This look would certain wipe the sleep from your eyes, and for added fierceness she styled the look with a sleek ponytail and Christian Louboutin ‘Decollette 554′ pumps.
