Yara Shahidi In Victoria, Victoria Beckham – Disney/ABC International Upfronts

Yara Shahidi attended the Disney/ABC International Upfronts on Sunday (May 20) in Burbank, California.

Proving that the athleisure trend is not confined to the gym, the ‘Grown-ish’ star instilled a sporting sensibility into her look wearing a girlie pink Victoria Beckham Spring 2018 shell top and split hem pants.

This really is the most elegant take on the classic jogger silhouette with ice-white sneakers completing her look.

Yara Shahidi In Chanel Couture – 2018 Met Gala

Yara Shahidi thoroughly charmed me from the minute I saw her at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City.

Without being too literal, she portrayed a certain blissful, angelic quality in this Chanel Spring 2018 Couture ruffled tulle, petticoat frock.

And, it was an absolute delight.

Her floral fascinator and Christian Louboutin heels completed the sweet ode to youthful adoration.

Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers Event And Believe In Dreams Campaign Launch Red Carpet Roundup

The Tiffany & Co. Paper Flowers event and Believe In Dreams campaign launch on Thursday (May 3) in New York City was positively brimming with beautiful fashion moments. Attendees joined Sarah PaulsonGreta GerwigZendaya Coleman and Elle Fanning.

Hailey Baldwin: The model showed a softer side in Ellery Fall 2018. This was a nice change of pace from her typical on-trend style. There’s a magical quality from the prismatic fabric, silver shoes and pared-back styling.

Yara Shahidi: The ‘Grown-ish’ actress looked elegant in Prada. Given some of the high impact looks, I expected more drama from her. This still oozes sophistication, but I would have loved to see her in something head-turning like her Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ look.

Naomi Campbell: Combining a whimsical white coat with a sultry dress, she most definitely made a statement in Sukeina Fall 2018. The juxtaposition of the angelic frills with the sensual dress is dynamic and her unique interpretation of whimsy. Some might find it jarring, but it did succeed in commanding attention.

Yara Shahidi In Giambattista Valli Couture – Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’

Yara Shahidi is one of the Fresh Faces to grace the May 2018 issue of Marie Claire’s, so she was the guest of honour at the 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ party on Friday (April 27) in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Grow-ish’ star has shown us in the past that she’s a fashion force to be reckoned with, so I was delighted to see her take things up a notch with this Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 Couture dress.

It’s a fantastical piece, which isn’t easy to pull off, but the young starlet does so with ease looking like a modern day tinkerbell.

The puffs might not go down too well with some, but haven’t we seen enough plain pink shift dresses that we desire someone like Yara to take a risk and push boundaries?

Yara Shahidi In Zac Posen – Brooks Brothers Bicentennial Celebration

Yara Shahidi joined Katie Holmes for the Brooks Brothers Bicentennial Celebration on Wednesday (April 25) in New York City.

The very embodiment of elegance and sophistication, the young actress wore a Zac Posen design.

Lately, the starlet has been exploring fashion through a more playful, experimental—but always impeccable—lens. This look sees her return to some of the longer, more reserved silhouettes I remember from her last year.

Even still, some might find this all a bit mature for the 18-year-old, with plenty of years to bask in the refinement of an ensemble such as this.

But, she looked so beautiful—with a glowing beauty look to match—that it’s hard to fault this ode to the classics.

Yara Shahidi In Reem Acra – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Yara Shahidi was in attendance at the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (April 24). She joined Nicole KidmanDeepika Padukone and Kesha.

The actress, who wrote an essay on congresswoman Maxine Waters for the honors, was clad in a Reem Acra Fall 2018 look.

With its drop waist, gathered skirt and contrasting neckline, it was a fashion-forward and playful outfit that was very much in her wheelhouse.

Showing an eye for detail, the whimsical graphic emblazoned on the chest was picked up with her twisted bun and blue eye makeup.

If I must find fault with anything, I wish the trailing neckline bow was angled ever so slightly so it would be more visible in photos.

I’m sure she could have carried off the gloves, but elected to style it simply with Brian Atwood shoes.

Did you miss the gloves?
