Winona Ryder graces the cover of  Elle UK’s July 2009 issue, shot by Matthias Vriens McGrath.

On the newsstand cover, she wears a nude tulle Dolce & Gabbana corset, and on the subscribers cover, she wears a simple black American Apparel top.

In the interview, Winona talks about childhood bullies, leading roles, beauty and her latest film, “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee”.

On Being Bullied: “We only shopped at the Salvation Army, and I would get these three-piece, 1970s little boy suits. I had really short hair, and the third day of seventh grade, these kids basically jumped me in the hall because they thought I was a gay boy, and they roughed me up… I think when that happened, I kind of went into a movie in my head because I couldn’t deal with what was happening. Kids would say, ‘You’re a witch, you’re creepy, you’re crazy.’ I was in the number-one movie in the country and I was still being bullied in school.”

“Four Christmases” Los Angeles Premiere

Sporting waves in her blonde hair, Reese Witherspoon arrived on the red carpet in a navy strapless Nina Ricci sheath dress with a gold embrodiery detail on the bodice. She teamed her dress with a bronze clutch and open toe laced slingbacks.

Her gold dagger and anchor necklace is exquisite.

Kristin Chenoweth is so tiny, but that does not stop her from wearing this eggplant dress with a very large bow detail.

The colour is great on her, which she matches with jeweled peep-toes, but the pale blue detail does not quite work for me.

MANGO Soho Flagship Store Relaunch, New York

While Mary-Kate Olsen was in Dubai, Ashley Olsen was in New York attending this Mango event. I guess she pulled the short straw, but she looks happy enough wearing a loose fitting dress, which is does not swamp her tiny frame like her sisters dress did.

Monica Cruz, the poster girl for Mango, is gorgeous, as always wearing a LBD.

For once I do not feel Solange Knowles desperation.

This black dress with a feathered skirt has got to be one of her best looks. The blue Louboutin’s are very electric, but I must give credit were credit is due.

Xbox 360’s “You’re in the Movies” Launch, New York

Jane Krakowski is wearing one of my favourite dresses from Stella McCartney Fall 2008 collection.

For me she does not quite pull it off. I would have preferred to have seen this dress on someone like Chloe Sevigny or Christina Ricci.

Winona Ryder looks healthy after recovering from being hospitalized recently in the UK.

For once I actually like what she is wearing. Her one-shouldered Alberta Ferretti nude gown surprisingly does not wash her out, but it makes her appear taller and very statuesque.

The close up is not the most flattering photo, but it is the only picture I could find her facing the camera front on.

This was Donna Karan’s 20th anniversary collection, and she did not disappoint her guests, as she displayed a very youthful collection befitting of the DKNY brand.

The colour palette had bright blues, neon yellow, passion pinks and some darker navy blue and black colours.

It was blue that dominated the runway, appearing on dress, tank top, sashes on dress, and details on other pieces.

Models strutted down the runway in heeled sneakers wearing strapless dress and tops, jumpsuits, mini dress, wide-leg pants and jeans, vests and blazers.

With many separates on display, the mix and match possibilities are endless.

Even in that denim jumpsuit, Coco is still fierce ♥.

It looks like Nicole Richie was given the heads up on the striped and blue theme of the show by arriving wearing a blue and navy striped DKNY tank, with a navy and cobalt blue banded skirt.

She completed her look with black suede cut out booties.

Christina Ricci as always looks stunning. The actress wore a sexy spotted dress, with nude heels.

Winona Ryder opted for a head to toe black ensemble, with ruby red lips.

I am not quite sure why Petra Nemcova thought the fedora was a good idea, because her cherry red dress was enough to ensure that she stood out.
