Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Winona Ryder In Maison Martin Margiela - 'Turks and Caicos' New York ScreeningWinona Ryder returned to the red carpet for the ‘Turks and Caicos’ screening at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York City on Monday (April 7).

The actress wore a Maison Martin Margiela Fall 2014 cream dress, covered by a black tuxedo blazer and accented with a few flashes of metal via a gunmetal clutch and gold earrings.

I have a feeling some of you may be calling this slip-like silhouette a nightgown in no time.

While there was some sort of MMM cool-girl edge hidden amidst the styling here, it didn’t all quite click. Perhaps it was the overly slicked-back ponytail or the too-minimal makeup that contributed to the washed-out effect.

Winona Ryder In Cushnie Et Ochs - ‘Homefront’ Las Vegas Premiere

Winona Ryder joined Kate Bosworth for the Las Vegas premiere of ‘Homefront’ held at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada yesterday evening.

No surprise that she wore black, selecting a look from Cushnie et Ochs’ Fall 2013 collection.

The real shocker would’ve been had she selected a look with more daring cut-outs from this collection, but she kept the look PG with cut-outs at the shoulders of her LBD.

Without colouring outside the lines, her head-to-toe all-black look included Armani pumps, a satin Louboutin clutch and silver Fred Leighton jewels.

On most I would be screaming for a pop of colour, but this is very much expected from Winona.

Winona Ryder made a rare appearance on the red carpet last night for the premiere of ‘The Iceman’ at the 2012 Venice Film Festival.

The actress, who was a fan (and paparazzi) favourite in the 90s, looked a little bewildered to be back in the spotlight – not that her deer-stuck-in-headlights expression detracted from the classic black Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Winona embellished her look with a pair of bejewelled Lanvin drop earrings and a plain satin clutch, both of which offset the dress’ gorgeous lace overlay.

Winona Ryder made a rare appearance on the red carpet at the Marni for H&M Collection launch party on Friday evening in LA.

The actress played up her quirky goth-girl persona, à la ‘Beetlejuice,’ in a dark polka-dot overcoat with three-quarter-length sleeves, paired with matching cropped trousers from the upcoming collection.

Winona paired her ensemble with bow-adorned chunky heels.

Do you like the matching pants? Or do you think so much dark print overwhelms the petite actress?

Here Comes The Bride Award
If you thought Winona Ryder dress at the 2011 SAG Awards looked very bridal, well it is.

Her white strapless Alberta Ferretti gown is from the Spring 2011 bridal collection.

It’s a sweet look and refreshing from her usual black, but it’s not the right look for Gothic Winona.

I may have liked it had she done something different with her hair like a chic updo, but the high curly ponytail isn’t sophisticated enough for the dress.

Vram for Gray jewels and a black clutch completed her look.

During Milan Spring 2011 Fashion Week, Alessandra Ambrosio attended the amfAR Milano 2010 event.

She opted for a loose, wavy chignon to complement her beautiful Dolce & Gabbana lace strapless dress with a full skirt.

Black satin pumps with a lace overlay and a simple necklace completed her look.

Winona Ryder wore the same dress on the red carpet at the 2010 Gotham Independent Film Awards which was held in New York City last month.

Winona made this look very 80s prom plus I really dislike her shoe choice.

Easy win for Alessandra.
