Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Victoria Beckham has achieved the enviable status of successful crossover artist. The entertainer-cum-fashion designer’s eponymous label is esteemed within the highest style circles.

And no one wears her clothes better than the queen bee herself; she is the ultimate brand ambassador.

Victoria’s secret? Start with slim-line silhouettes; add a good mix of sleek architectural shapes; ramp up the volume with an ultra-sophisticated and sexy vibe; and, get a sartorial combination that works best on a body like Victoria’s.

Her label is trendsetting yet unmistakably timeless, appealing to stars such as Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart, Miranda Kerr, Naomi Watts and Serena Williams.

And Spring 2013 looks every bit as bright: VB presented tailored separates in addition to those bold body-con dresses, so there’s even more to look forward to.

The Beckham family, who are back in the UK for the holidays, were out in London this evening for the ‘Viva Forever’ press night, held at The Piccadilly Theatre.

David, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz Beckham were all wearing Burberry Tailoring.

David wore a grey suit with an olive tie, while his mini-me’s look so very handsome in dark-hued suits, with eldest son Brooklyn opting to wear his look without a tie.

I love how Cruz’ suit is a few sizes too big. This is a look my brother always sported on the first day of school, before growing out of his uniform by Christmas.

Victoria Beckham was of course decked out in her own threads wearing white shirt from her Spring 2013 collection and black Isabel Marant pants with a rich maroon wool coat worn over her shoulders.

Her favourite Manolo Blahnik ‘BB’ black pumps completed her look.

I think this is the first time she has modified her signature pose.

Back in April, Victoria Beckham wore a dress from her Fall 2012 collection to the unveiling of the special edition of the Range Rover Evoque model in Beijing, China.

The dove-grey dress with maroon collar and cuffs was styled with a double-looped leather belt and those Tom Ford open-toe boots she then went on to wear several times.

Naomi Watts wore the same dress for the 2012 Take Home a Nude Benefit Art Auction at Sotheby’s in New York City back in October.

She opted to wear the look sans belt, adding nude Christian Louboutin ankle boots and a Valentino ‘Rockstud Lock’ shoulder bag.

This was a tough one, as I didn’t like either of their shoes.

In the end I went with Victoria, as I love the belt with the look and no one wears a VB dress better than the woman herself.

Victoria Beckham was spotted leaving the Valentino: Master of Couture private viewing after-party, held at a private residence in London last night.

The fashion designer was sporting a head-to-toe look from her Spring 2012 collection.

Her look featured a sunset double-crepe cropped blazer with a black crepe-de-chine double-cuff blouse and sunset double-crepe A-line skirt.

A gold box Victoria Beckham clutch and black Manolo Blahnik open-toe booties completed her look.

I love the smoky eye with this look. A simple ponytail with face-framing tendrils provided the finishing touches.

As always, she is the best ambassador for her brand. I want this head-to-toe look.

Following David Beckham’s announcement that he will be resigning from LA Galaxy on Tuesday, the Beckham family were spotted catching a flight to London at LAX airport on Wednesday.

There was a time when Victoria would only wear her own designs, but lately she has been branching out.

Alongside her obvious favourites of Jil Sander, Celine and Maison Martin Margiela, she has added Comme des Garçons to the mix.

She made the walkway her runway at LAX, wearing a Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons dress.

The style is very different from what we’ve ever seen from the designer before.

There is a lot going on as the crewneck dress features a rust crushed-velvet bodice, a long large-check-patterned skirt and two-tone long sleeves in a zigzag pattern with puffed shoulders.

On the rack this is a Florence Welch dress, so I love that Victoria is experimenting once again.

The only thing I’m not crazy about is the Bordeaux boots. I would’ve opted for tan to complement the bodice.

Does this new VB look work for you?

Victoria Beckham is in Dallas, Texas to promote her Spring 2013 collection for Neiman Marcus customers.

She took to the red carpet with Jim Gold, the President of Speciality Retail, wearing a dress from her Spring 2013 collection.

The white and cream structured cotton dress with a graphic lace-panelled and tiered skirt was styled with two-tone Manolo Blahnik open-toe booties.

This photo did make me chuckle. Victoria sports her signature pose and Jim doesn’t quite know how to fit in. It’s almost looks like he is photoshopped into the background.

He should’ve stood to the left.
