Victoria Beckham’s street is impeccable, but her red carpet style has not impressed me until last night.

The fashion designer, who has just shown her second collection in New York this week, outshone everyone on the red carpet wearing a one shouldered crystal embellished nude mini Armani dress.

I would have preferred a strappy sandals, but I do love her matching satin pumps too.

It wasn’t a surprise to see Alicia Keys at this event, as she has just a close working relationship with Giorgio Armani.

The gorgeous singer arrived wearing a long black coat, which she wore at the Max Azria show, which she removed to reveal a stunning coral Armani sheath dress.

She wore her dress with a amazing pair of jewel encrusted Armani Privé Fall 2007 slingbacks, which have a contrast bow on the side.

January Jones wore a stunning red Armani crystal embellished dress. Despite the colour, I expected something with more pizazz from Miss Jones.

Maybe it’s just the hair that is not working for me.

Zoe Saldana worked a 20s vibe with Marcel waves, which I think worked really well with her shimmering white dress.

I love the rosette detail on the shoulder.

Elsa Pataky is usually a lot more expressive on the red carpet, whether it’s too revealing, too short, or too unusual.

So imagine my surprised that she wore a black tuxedo, with a sexy sheer top. Too safe for Elsa.

Despite me fully not understanding what Molly Sims does – like Joy Bryant – I always appreciate her efforts on the red carpet.

She is always impeccable, which is why I’m really baffled by this fringed crochet number, over a black ensemble.

Across the Armani ranges, I am shocked that this is the best she could do last night.

I believe that is suppose to be red lipstick, but I am seeing orange.

This is a really nice skirt suit that Solange Knowles wore.

Nice if you are Cate Blanchett, or a lady who lunches, or someone who has the style, grace and sophistication to pull it off, but on a 20-something year old girl? NO.

And that neon pink clutch with that suit? NO, it does not work.

Does this girl have a stylist?

When will she find a balance and wear something appropriate?

If Kim Kardashian can do it, Solange has NO excuse.

Pre-Poxie, Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria and son Romeo went shopping on Rodeo Drive.

Victoria was wearing a red Balenciaga dress with puff sleeves, red Christian Louboutin Rolandos, whilst carrying a tan Hermes Kelly Longue.

Kyra Sedgwick wore the same dress when she attended the premiere of Taking Chance on Wednesday night.

The actress wore her dress with tights, and knee-high lace up boots.

I hate to be predictable, but Victoria wins this hands down.

I love Victoria Beckham, only Cate Blanchett ranks above her in my hero worship table.

What I love about her, is that she is constantly introducing me to new brands.

This weekend Victoria took her sons to the Century City Mall before heading to her BFF Kate Beckinsale’s daughters birthday party.

She was dressed in – what is fast becoming her uniform – a black strapless dress from her own collection, YSL Trib Two pumps, whilst carrying a white Valextra bag.

Valextra is a Milan-based luxury leather goods company, who make exquisite bags, clutches, luggage and office stationary.

Victoria’s is part of the S line range, which come in 3 different sizes.

What makes this bag so special, that the largest celebrity Hermes collector would choose it?

Well Valextra is often compared to Hermes and Louis Vuitton in terms of workmanship. You should recognise a Valextra from afar, despite it not having any logos printed on the outside. The workmanship and luxurious materials used sets it apart from the others.

“Valextra is a true luxury, whispered not shouted“, says Bag aficionado ooOoo.

Prices of the S Range start from from £1,890 and can be found at the Room of Luxury in Harrods.

I must say I’m a little shocked that Victoria Beckham was your Best Dressed this week.

Yes she looks fantastic – in fact this is the best she has looked in a long while – but it’s nothing we haven’t seen before.

Out of the top 10, Victoria would have been in 4th place for me, place behind Michelle Obama in Jason Wu, Jennifer Lopez in Marchesa and Shakira in Oscar de la Renta.

I’m sure a lot of you will say that me choosing Michelle was an easy/safe choice, but I really loved the gown.

The clean palette, the element of fantasy and the floral appliqués, plus getting caught up in the special moment, all helped in my decision making process.

After attending the Fendi Party in Milan this week, Victoria Beckham was spotted arriving at the Milan’s Linate Airport to catch a departing flight yesterday.

Victoria was sporting a faux fur coat, a navy tank, navy skinny jeans, and Christian Louboutin heels.

I don’t know about you, but I am not crazy about the coat, but I love the bag.

The slouchy, oversize tote is called ‘Calle’ Ostrich bag, and it’s from Loewe.

The bag retails at $10,000.

I adore it in the buttery yellow.

Fashion Editors seem to be in love with Victoria Beckham at the moment, as she has appeared on many covers worldwide over the last few months. Most recently Harper’s Bazaar US January 2009.

For this month the fashion designer appears on the cover of Vogue Russia February 2009. I really like this editorial, as it has a bit of an edge, and it’s a lot more creative than the previous shoots she has appeared in.

The downside is that her face it covered in most of the pictures, but she still looks gorgeous.

The shoot was styled by Katie Grand, and Sølve Sundsbø was the photographer.

On her collection: “Forties and 50s underwear played a big influence on the collection, but the inspiration is me.”

“I have tried every one of the dresses on, lived in them, to work out what feels right. I hope the silhouette is what every woman wants to wear.”

It has been a while but Victoria Beckham finally ditched the black.

Victoria and David Beckham attended the My Sky HD Wears Fendi cocktail party, as part of Milan Menswear Fashion Week last night.

The fashion designer wore a red dress from her collection, with red crocodile Christian Louboutin Rolando’s.

Her pixie cut, was elegantly styled to mimic an updo, which maybe an indication that she is already seeking a new do.

In one of the pictures she is posing with Franca Sozzani, the editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia. The woman behind the famous all Black issue.

With Victoria in Italy. A Vogue Italia cover just maybe in the works.
